His little beast did two 3.5kg turkeys for Christmas. Full bag of charcoal in the cheap Argos barrel bbq. Brined the birds overnight. Consensus is that the birds were the best anyone had had. To test the rotisserie we cooked a piece of lamb. Worked well. Impressed with the thing all round. Would recommend if you are diy savvy enough to rig it up. Not great instructions and some mechanical wherewithal needed but it’s for a bbq – so one should have a basic level of competence with fire and steel. I’m happy with it.

Just bought a second one, as a gift, having used mine all summer. Nothing fancy but it does what it is supposed to.

Had to modify my BBQ a little as it had no slots in the lid for it to protrude, but nothing too tricky.

Works really well. I roasted a duck and a medium chicken on it together. Both tasted amazing. I had a problem with my delivery and the item was broken, but I got in contact and the replaced it the next day. Couldn’t have asked for more.
