On a SIM only contract we were ready for new mobiles as our previous ones seemed to be getting slower and were just running out of memory space. So we wanted 2 new SIM free phones that were reasonably priced, good value for money, reasonably future proof and with decent specs to be worth investing in. We aren’t worried about having the latest spec mobiles as there’s always something around the corner that soon outdates it just after spending a fortune on it. After doing quite a bit of research I spotted Oppo mobiles which for their price to spec ratio appeared good value. Comparing the specs of the different models in their range this came out as our first choice. Bought two for a good price on Amazon and I have to say we’re both really happy with them. The screens are a good size with great definition and the speed is superb. The ability to transfer rom to use as ram memory is another bonus and helps with the superfast speed of the phone when browsing, streaming and whatever other tasks being asked of it. It is fully featured as far as we’re concerned – yes there are phones with more/better features, but the vast majority are far more expensive, and for everything we need it is perfect. Regular updates have been arriving keeping the phone and operating system up to date and for us personally we cannot find fault. It is a phone that we would both therefore recommend unless you need the latest tech and have deeper pockets than we have.
I am so happy I bought this phone! The cameras on it are excellent and the sound quality is unbeaten. As someone who has always had Apple products as well as a few Samsung products, I think this phone is a real breath of fresh air! Gorgeous design as well as having some amazing features!

We all should expect a product to do everything it promises.. REGARDLESS OF PRICE!!
However, we have to be realistic..
I love this phone…
It’s fast, smooth. Manages floating windows, all apps I’ve tried, games I play.
Music, bluetooth earpiece and watch..
Etc..etc..etc.. No REALISTIC COMPLAINTS.

That’s it.. except.. One fault Ive found!!
When playing my racing game, I find that I need to press the screen (in landscape rotation) slightly to the left of exactly where the toutch point should be..?? This is at the right side of the screen, which is normally the top of the screen when held normally..
So if I press exactly it might not respond..? But as a phone, and when typing messages or anything else.. the screen works perfectly..
I’ve gotten used to it, don’t know if its just that game?? but I suspect it’s just a quality compromise..
Still love the phone.. great price.. unlocked. Good for 3 Android upgrades..

3 months later and still can’t find anything to complain about. Its a lovely phone and the best one I’ve had. It’s just so quick and responsive and the battery life is amazing. I’m still coming across things I didn’t know we’re on the phone but as I’m not tech savvy this isn’t surprising. My son commented yesterday how quick it is to open camera when he used it compared to his own phone.
After a few days yse I cannot find anything to complain about and much to be happy with.
It’s fast, well built, comes with screen protector and case and the battery seems fine. Oppo may not be a big name yet in the UK but they are elsewhere and are good bet to succeed here too. They seem to me to offer Samsung quality at cheaper prices.
