Does what it says good price. Needs a daily charge if you are using it.

It took me quite a few attempts to find a watch I liked with all the bells and whistles on it at a reasonable price. This was my 7th in fact – I know fussy besom but I was worth the hassle I put myself through with ordering and returning. I am still finding my way around it but on the whole it does what it says on the tin and I love it. I wish I could get a little longer battery life out of it but, as my son pointed out, it is basically a computer on your wrist that you can use as a phone, to message, tell the time and use as a fitness recorder and if you do that a lot you will run down the battery. I can even see on my watch who is at my front door via the doorbell app! So just love it!

The Square display stands from the sea of other round displays. Fast Charging is a real bonus.

This was a gift and so only a little feedback but she wears it all the time and generally seems very happy with it.

Picked this up as a preowned warehouse deal. It was unused, all the bits and pieces in the box, box appeared to a be a little damaged but contents immaculate.

Love the styling, Very apple watch when off but clearly not when screen is on – but i didnt pay 250+

Screen is excellent and very good touch response. Only lagginess is after its been rebooted. Good selection of watch faces.

Tracking appears to be spot on so far. App is ok so far too, does everything i’d want

And so to battery life….its absolutely fine, 1 hour quick charge every day. Sorry but some reviews are OTT about this. I knew going in this wouldn’t run for days like my Fitbit Ionic did (before Fitbit told me they could randomly explode). I can get 28/29 hours on a full charge with EVERYTHING TURNED ON. Manage your expectations people, if you do this is a cracking and fairly unique Wear OS watch.

Would love to see what Oppo can do with Wear OS 3. If i stay with Android (I’ve recently defected from Apple) i would be very tempted to move to the next gen when this one’s time is up. Experience so far may even persuade me to move to the Oppo phone with Hasselblad lenses, if i can find 900 stuffed down the back of the sofa.

Elegant watch with a decent amount of features. I mostly wanted a smartwatch with phone and third party notifications ( I set it for WhatsApp and Telegram) and lastly an alarm. The battery life is terrible but if you look for the tips to improve battery life it improves significantly ( there’s a forum on xda, you can also check the video by 4U tech “improve battery life of wear OS drastically without power saving mode”).
I don’t like that to quit power saving mode, the watch needs to restart. The alarm vibration could be more intense and longer. I don’t use the health app as the only data I really care about is the number of steps and sleep data. Moreover, I set it on power saving mode overnight, the alarm function still works in this mode.
You can set widgets on the Home Screen to access apps quickly. Even in the lowest brightness setting, it is still visible outdoors. Finally, I like the square design and the device charges quickly this counters the subpar battery life.
EDIT: I have now linked the watch to google fit. Integration was seamless as is the syncing process (unsure about the impact it has on battery life which is already poor)

    Elegant watch

It’s a neat looking watch, tidy and light and runs WearOS so you get some good customisation. However if you want to use it consistently, you’ll be charging it every single day. This is the really disappointing part. The battery life is just shocking. And then because it’s always charging, you lose out on data i.e it’s charging while you sleep, etc.
Not only that but the default Oppo HeyTap Health app leaves A LOT to be desired. Luckily if syncs with Google Fit.
Would I buy it again? Not a chance. The battery really ruins it.

Battery can last all day if you are not using it that much. However, I wish it could last longer in case of an emergency without taking out the normal mode and features.

Like you I took lots of notice of the reviews saying about the really bad battery life, so I decided to buy one 2nd hand and I’m really impressed with the battery life after a few weeks and tweeks.

The first week of using the watch I had the “tilt to look” turned on and this option really does kill the battery life, but it does on all smart watches, I’ve own the apple watch 3 and that was the same. As you can see from my screen shot The oppo 41mm has 2 day battery life and I’ve got the 24h heart rate monitors on, a few notifications that I want turn on and the NFC for easy contact less payments but not the GPS or wifi as I’m not very sporty and always have my phone with me.

BUT the best thing it only takes about 40 mins to charge to max from empty! I take it off to shower and it’s full by the end of my shower and shave! Brilliant, the apple watch took forever to charge over night!

It’s also really small and neat on the wrist and people mistake it for an apple watch anyway!

    Glad I purchased it.

    Just get one

5.0 out of 5 stars Battery Not as bad as reviewed

Unbelievably fast charging. Battery life is superb. Connects effortlessly to my Samsung. The only thing to do is change the strap (which is a doddle to do) as the supplied one is fiddly to get on and doesn’t feel very secure.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDiese Smartwatch ist fr mich ein Volltreffer.

    Pro:
    – absolut hochwertig und ein Hingucker
    – Top OLED Display und super Bildschrfe
    – Alltime On Display
    – Schnelllademodus (in nichtmal 1h komplett aufgeladen)
    – Akku im Energiesparmodus hlt ewig trotz Schritt+Pulsmesser
    – Vibrationsmotor sehr angenehm und leise

    Contra

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersIf like me, you prefer Android but love the design of the Apple watch over the Samsung watches. This is definitely the watch for you. The size is perfect, feels comfortable, looks awesome and the functionality is spot on. Absolutely love this watch and I’m really glad I bought it. But, what let’s this watch down is the battery life. Straight out of the box it’s absolutely shocking. However this can be vastly improved by disabling a lot of unnecessary monitoring and notifications. I wanted a watch for phone and WhatsApp notifications mainly. I’m not interested in having a sports tracker. Took me a while to figure out how to disable everything I didn’t want and once I did I know have exactly what I wanted with a fairly decent battery life. If you do want a sports tracker too this watch isn’t for you because the battery simply can’t keep up. With everything on you would be very lucky to get a full day from the battery. With all the sports stuff and sensors off I get 3 to 4 days.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’m really impressed with the Oppo watch. I was a little worried given the number of comments on ‘poor battery life’ but I’ve never had a problem making it last a day with charge to spare – and from discussion I’ve had with friends who have the Apple watch, for example, it’s on a par with the other more fully-featured watches out there. Step tracking has been great – I’ve linked it to Noom via Google fit, and the Fit and Oppo’s own Health app both have metrics that have been fairly helpful. I’ve also really enjoyed the Google Assistant (being able to set a timer verbally while cooking and juggling umpteen manual tasks is such a boon), and the ability to use Google Pay. The build quality is good and the watch feels comfortable to wear. For my needs, and the compatibility with the Google/Android ecosystem, and the square form factor, there was nothing else out there that fit the bill, but I certainly don’t feel like I had to ‘settle’ and am really pleased with my watch.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought the pink Oppo 41mm, absolutely love it! Very comfortable strap, easy to set up, NFC works every time. Battery life has been great so far, have it set to tap to wake which I guess must save it coming on all the time. Screen is lovely and clear and easy to read. You won’t be disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersEl reloj es precioso, muy cmodo y funciona genial.

    Encantada 😊

I have had this watch for a couple of months now. I previously had a hybrid (Zetime). I wanted to change to a Wear OS watch with greater functionality and knew what I wanted from a smartwatch – notifications primarily, fitness tracking is interesting and not something too bulky as I have small wrists. The look of this watch appealed straightaway – despite the obvious cloning of the Apple watch design.
Performance wise I find it excellent. My sons have smartwatches (Ticwatch and Moto 360) and this one is sleeker and smoother when scrolling through apps. The screen is clear and easy to read (even on the 41mm). The vibration alert is subtle, but noticeable and using it as an alarm in the morning has always woken me up. You can’t expect great sound from it, but I have held a conversation with no problem for either me or the person at the other end. You can download music and connect to bluetooth headphones meaning you can do without your phone when out if you wish. I do like the 5 minute workouts it gives you (I am not a gym person so this just keeps within my interest threshold).
So onto the battery. I have plenty of notifications switched on, will use one or two of the workouts during the day, keep the screen and tilt-to-wake off (if a notification comes in, the watch comes on when you lift your wrist still) and after 14-15 hours of wearing there is still about 40-50% of the battery left. I have been using it for sleep tracking and an alarm in the morning. I find a 20 minute charge when reading at night and about 30 minutes in the morning is all I need to not be worried about battery life.
Overall I think this is a great Wear OS watch. If you search the web for other reviews, you will see a lot of the ‘tech’ reviewers also are really impressed with this watch.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought the 41mm and live in the USA. I was skeptical about the battery life as many reviews have complained of only a few hours or less of battery backup. Well, to my surprise I have been getting a days worth or more since I received the watch on the Dec 29, 2020.

First I charged the watch to 80%. Then I paired it with my phone/app and updated the watches OS. GPS, tilt to wake, and wifi is all on. At night I turn cinema mode on (the film reel in the quick settings) so that I don’t wake the screen when I sleep and it still tracks your sleep.

I use voice to text, calls, and occasionally check my heart rate. I have not installed any other apps.

I have no complaints on this device or the seller… It’s shipped very quickly to the states. Very happy with this product. Battery life has so far exceeded my expectations!

Great watch. Better battery then anticipated

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI am very happy with the OPPO Watch 41 mm.

For starters, the design is excellent. The glass/alloy construction is solid and feels high quality. The watch is cold to the touch. The quality of workmanship is very high indeed, the buttons feel great, there was great precision in manufacturing, you are definitely purchasing a very high quality product. It looks really good on the wrist, and for that I have to applaud the wonderful silicon strap with its pre-moulded shape so that it fits perfectly on the wrist, unlike some competing smartwatches like the galaxy active which in my experience doesn’t sit on the wrist but instead wraps around it tightly… the OPPO Watch definitely sits snug on the wrist. The I have been completely satisfied with the software, it’s a 60 fps stutter-free experience with pretty UI and animations. There is a great selection of watch faces available to download from the Google Play store so there is something to cater for everyone. I have heard disappointing opinions about Wear OS in the past, however, I have no problems with the OPPO Watch, I think Wear OS works very well on it and is very fast and smooth. The screen is bright and wonderful! It’s a really high resolution, it’s very crisp and I can’t see pixels. Literally, my only problem with the OPPO Watch 41 is that there is a super tiny (~1 mm) chin as with all Android phones, it’s definitely not an Apple watch. That’s alright though because the screen is AMOLED so the chin is barely noticeable with the dark UI. Google Assistant on the watch is very useful and I find works better to get all my daily tasks completed than Bixby did, I am really glad this watch supports Google Assistant. Finally the best feature of all is probably the VOOC charging! The battery life isn’t fancy however VOOC charging definitely makes up for it and I only need to pop the watch on charge for a few mins each day, 20-30 mins is enough to get it up from 20% to 80% for me and that’s good for a full day. This is impressive! By comparison, it took 2 hours to charge my galaxy active from 20 to 80, fast charging really is a dealbreaker for me! OPPO has always been known for their incredible fast charging technology and they don’t fail to impress with their watch.
Other features on the watch such as fitness/HR tracking are standard and work as expected on every smartwatch. Again OPPO is generally known for making hardware that just works as expected and they have delivered too.

So I am very impressed with the watch, its construction, software and features, and literally my only issue is the slight chin. However, given that this is less than half the price of the Apple watch, it is a great feat that OPPO have delivered a watch like this at such an affordable price and it is top of the class in the affordable smartwatch category. Actually, it gets me really hyped for the OPPO Watch 46 mm with its better looking screen!

    Great.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFabulous , recently brought this as my Fitbit versa 2 was playing up , smooth running and comfy fit for sleeping , has vooc wireless charging , screen brightness is fab and has HUGE amounts of customisation, so far the only downside is the battery life as it’s only a 300mah battery so I find when I wake up whilst getting ready for the day I put it on charge and that will last me then from 7am till about 8pm (using it quite often) to witch when I’m watching TV on the night I will charge it ready for the night sleep tracking , verry expensive looking just too expensive for a first time buyer for a first time buyer i would suggest the Samsung galaxy fit ranged at 70 or a higher priced one a fit bit charge 4 priced at 140

    Questo smartwatch adatto a chiunque:
    – per gli sportivi grazie alle applicazioni di Oppo che consentono un’allenamento “base” ( corsa, camminata, ciclismo ecc..) e di un’allenamento da 5 minuti con videoguida, pi tutte le altre applicazioni messe a disposizione da Google;
    – per chi vuole un’orologio smart, grazie alle sue notifiche, all’assistente vocale integrato e alla possibilit di ricevere ed effettuare chiamate grazie allo speaker e ad un microfono presenti.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersJetzt mal mein Fazit nach ein paar Tagen Nutzung.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersIch hatte bereits viele Smartwatches.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersYes there were issues of low battery backup when i first received.
While upgrading watch 3-4 times showed that the device is getting heated up and has to close some functions i immediately made up my mind to have a refund back next day i called amazon asked for refund and they agreed and the pickup date of device was put day after tomorrow.
Until then i decided to toy with the device and also started looking into other wearables. After intial upgradation i started using it .
I went to the original platform from where i learnt that this watch was incredible and all the flatteries each and every youtuber was claiming that this watch was having the best wear os experience..
I mean battery backup is so dumb that how is this possible, after seeing different videos about it and comparing with other products like apple gen 5 i submitted to the fact that no matter what any smartwatch i buy the battery backup is going to be issue.
While watching videos i switched on the watch’s gps wifi bluetooth and always on display just to abuse it and see how much it will last.
Surprisingly it lasted for about 18 hours with notifications off.
But still i thought to replace it with huawei gt2 so i packed the watch and was ready to sent it of luckily the amazon pickup for the device got delayed and was again rescheduled for 2 days later. And hence i started playing with it again With judicial use of gps notifications wifi and bluetooth i mannaged to get FULL DAY of battery backup.
I was so confused on whether to send it back and order gt2 or to cancel refund.
After comparing gt2 on basis of accuracy customization i made up my descision to keep it.
So what changed my mind was the pinpoint accuracy of the watch, hell you could count the steps yourself and when you’ll compare with the device it was hardly amiss.
Afterall its a suped up fitness tracker which when compared to gt2 will provide greater value for money.
The sting for low battery backup of 16-18 hrs day was reduced by vooc charging which could charge your device exceedingly fast as conpared to gt2, that was a single important factor in addition to pin point accuracy which changed my descision to return it.

Golden Review Award: 237 From Our UsersPros:

    6. Very easy to connect.
    7. Amazing Display.
    8. Very comfortable on the wrist.
    9. Intresting Watch Faces.
    10. Better that round display watches, you can obviously see more of the screen in a square shaped watch.
    11. Fitness tracking is extremely good.
    12. Power mode – Can easily last for 14 days

    Cons:
Battery life ( Like every other smartwatch in the market)

The first thing you should do after receiving the watch is to connect with WIFI and update the watch to the latest version. It will drain a lot on battery during the initial update and also your will be testing the othe features of the watch so the battery life won’t last more than an hour.(Only during the update) but do not get scared that’s not a defect.

After you have updated the watch. Change the entire settings:
    1. Keep unwanted sensors off.
    2. Keep location of – Saves a lot of battery.
    4. Wifi Off – Most important.
    5. Modify the notifications – Select only those apps which are genuinely use.
    6. Keep the gestures off.

And you are good to go. 20 hrs battery life.
All othe smartwatches in the market have the same issue & after moving from MI BAND TO OPPO WATCH was a little difficult initially, coz Mi band easily lasts for 20 days but then again Oppo watch looks and feels more premium.

Overall – A good deal at this price.
