Osprey says the pack is 20 l. I am not quite sure if it’s true — Talon 11 feels nearly the same size. Anyway, the size is fine for my everyday use while cycling or walking including visits to the supermarket and suitable for d hikes as well.

Ergonomics are fine. I am 188 and slim and the pack fits me well. It feels comfortable and stable while cycling or walking. The shoulder straps fit fine. The hip-belt and sternum strap are must in this kind of outdoor pack and they do their job well. First I was suspicious of the tensed net against the back but not anymore — it works fine in the ergonomics point-of-view and also helps the sweat to escape. Certainly it steals a bit of capacity. The longest day-walks with this pack have been 30 km and there have been no kind of comfort issues.

Organizing options are fine as well. There are three compartments. The water reservoir pocket I hardly never use but sometimes I carry paper docs in there. It’s not really meant for a laptop. The main section is big enough to carry e.g. five one liter milk/juice packages plus some other shoppings. The front section with three pockets (one zippered) is suitable for all sort of small items and personally I carry keys and dirty stuff like bike tools and lock(s) etc. in there. On top of the pack is small zippered pocket, suitable e.g. for sun-glasses, wallet and mobile phone. Additionally there are three external open pockets — one a bit bigger in the front panel and two smaller on the sides. The side pockets can fit one liter Sigg bottles but are uncomfortably tight for that but fine for e.g. bike oil. The front pocket I use e.g. for storing wet gloves. There are also zippered pockets on both sides of the hip-belt but they are small and not so useful. All zippers are easy to use. In the top-front there is a helmet holder which works perfectly.

Materials and workmanship quality are really good but please see the remark below.

Some plastic parts look a bit weak and my hip-belt buckle is already broken (but still functioning) since I regularly step on those plastics parts when I deal with the bike lock(s) and the pack is on the ground. Some wearing can be seen at the bottom of the pack as well.

Certainly the durability is not army-grade but can’t be as it’s so light-weight and the weight/durability balance is fine in my opinion.

Syncro 20 is not water-proof (nor even highly water-resistant) but it has a separate rain-cover which is stored in a zippered pocket at the bottom of the pack. I do not use it often as I am used to pack critical stuff into plastic packs when the weather is bad.

The pack doesn’t stand up on its own.

The interior of my black pack is light-grey. That helps to see the content.

Manufactured in Vietnam. That’s ok (China wouldn’t be).

As being a backpack maniac, I own 15 day-packs plus some ultra-light packs. Syncro 20 is the one which I use the most (well, one of the two most used – the other one is another brand little bit bigger and more weather-resistant pack but without the hip-belt). Whenever the volume is enough and I don’t need to carry the laptop, I most often take Syncro to my daily cycling and walking (I do that more than every second day, typically commuting 20-30 km) as well as to short hikes in the wilderness. I give it the highest recommendation. Five stars for Syncro 20 (one out of three five star backpacks I own — one is Talon 33 and one is another brand laptop pack).

Die Qualitt ist wirklich sehr gut!
Sehr geringes Gewicht.
Liegt sehr gut am Krper an und wird Bauart-bedingt sehr gut belftet, nirgends Druckpunkte, scheuern
oder der gleichen.
Staumglichkeiten sehr gut!

Preis-leistungsverhltnis empfinde ich, angesichts der Qualitt als gut.

Ottimo zaino tuttofare, nato per il cicloturismo si adatta perfettamente anche all’hiking in giornata.
La qualit osprey indiscutibile, lo schienale molto areato (di pi rispetto ai modelli da trekking) e le tasche permettono una perfetta organizzazione del materiale minimo da portare sempre con s nelle escursioni.
Viste le piccole dimensioni va bene anche per fare vie ferrate, unica nota dolente il sistema di ritenzione del casco: studiato per i modelli da bicicletta e poco o niente si adatta a quelli da montagna, avrei preferito un metodo diverso come quello che osprey usa sui modelli da scialpinismo.
Attenzione che il venditore Inglese, dopo brexit i tempi di consegna possono essere un po’ pi lunghi a causa dello sdoganamento in Europa.

Love this bag. A friend had it in Black, so I got the red to stand out. The size of this bag is not ‘huge’, so don’t buy it if you’re needing a towel, change of clothes, footwear etc etc etc, unless you’re good at packing! I love the design so that my back doesn’t get sweaty, and it’s important to note that I am a small female, and the size of this bag is fine for me, so its probably pretty compact for a larger gentleman, particularly as it is billed as a Bag for Male Cyclists.
Excellent Value for money, will last a good long while. Have had it a couple months now, and use it daily.

Hab ihn parallel zum Deuter Race EXP Air bestellt und mich schweren Herzens dann doch fr den Deuter entschieden, weil die Trger des Osprey mir irgendwie total unangenehm im Brustbereich waren. Sie sind s-frmig nach innen gebogen, whrend die des Deuter gerade sind und direkt von den Schultern zu den Achseln verlaufen. Ist wahrscheinlich eine Sache des persnlichen Empfindens, ich finde es unangenehm, wenn etwas direkt auf den Nippeln scheuert.

Mein Vergleich beider Fahrradruckscke (persnliche Meinung)

Pluspunkte des Osprey:
+ besser verarbeitet als der Deuter, alles stimmt millimetergenau
+ wirkt insgesamt hochwertiger, ok kostet auch etwas mehr als der Deuter
+ raffinierte Fcheraufteilung plus kleine Geldtasche am Bauchgurt
+ sieht richtig gut aus
+ deutlich leichter als der Deuter, leer fhlt man ihn gar nicht
+ Rckenteil etwas ergonomischer und bequemer als beim Deuter

Pluspunkte des Deuter und entscheidend dafr, dass ich ihn gewhlt habe:
+bequemere Schultergurte
+mehr Luft am Rcken, das Netz steht weiter ab vom Gepckfach als beim Osprey

Der Preisunterschied spielte fr mich keine Rolle, allein vom ersten und letzten Blick htte ich gern lieber den Osprey behalten.

Obwohl er multisport heisst, ist er mit den vielen sinnvollen Details fr das Mountainbiken prdestiniert. Angefangen vom Magneten fr die Trinkschlauch Halterung ber das praktisch aufgeteilte Fach fr Werkzeug, die einfache aber sichere Helmbefestigung bis hin zu einer Befestigungsmglichkeit fr ein Rcklicht. Der Tragekomfort ist ausgezeichnet und die Rckenpartie gut durchlftet. Sehr empfehlenswe
