Liked the big illuminated buttons, has all the features needed for a useful telephone.
great phones except very weak on sound strength. Have to use on speaker.
Bought for my 84 year old Dad who is deaf.
He uses the speaker phone and he can hear perfectly.
It tells him who is calling which he likes.
So easy to use and to add contacts
Excellent phones. Good sized for ease of use without being ungainly. Easy to program. Good sound for hard of hearing.
Can be tricky to use at times. An irritating voice announces caller numbers but can be got rid of. Silence is golden.
Just love this twin phone set, works great, love the big easy to ready dialing buttons and sound is great in speaker mode. Top phone.
Got this for my 80 year old parents and set it up no problem. Clear screen, loud ring and good on calls. Easy call blocking. Long battery. So far so good!
Nice looking big numbers enhanced sound everything i need great. The only negative was delivery not late came with label stuck on box everyone could see what this was i am surprised we received them open invitation for theft.
Very good value, works well but took a bit of getting used to after many years with a BT phone!
I had a previous set of Panasonic DECT phones that were set up with a Truecall Blocker box and they have worked fine (still will) but alas my Broadband provider set me up with the latest technology which meant my phone line going digital via the Broadband Router, fine for the phones, but the blocker box wasn’t so happy. So rather than go down that route I decided to upgrade my DECT phones to this newer model with nuisance call blocker built in. Now Truecall charged a yearly fee for their unit, but as far as I see this built in blocker just works (no charge other than any charge my provider makes for call recognition). and it’s been up and running since December 14th and not once has it rang yet from an unwanted source, so up to yet well chuffed.
Big clear screen and buttons. Bought for elderly parent with vision difficulties. The caller name is announced for incomming calls. Volume is good and the level control on the side of phone is easy to use.
Had BT landline for years so I thought let’s try Panasonic I’m happy I did great loud volume numbers easy to see nice tones too but the best it calls out name of who’s calling that’d wicked I would recommend this house phone to everyone…
After exactly 20 years. My faithful Panasonic Duo system was suffering screen problems on both handsets.
It was the best they did back then and cost 160 in 2002.. (I still had the instructions and receipt).
This new system is awesome. It shares a lot of the great features but now the ability to block spam calls.
It does have speed dial 1-9 keys held down to dial chosen numbers. It also has 9 ring tone ‘categories’ for all stored numbers, meaning you can if you wish, have a different ring tone for standard calls, chosen people or family etc.
What is new? The handsets now communicate automatically and share stored numbers without having to press buttons to mirror.
The settings for call blocking are amazing. I have set mine to block robotic/automated calls and also withheld numbers. If you happen to pick up a spam call. Press the red button. that kills the call. You then have the choice on screen, to permanently block that number yes/no?
1000 individual numbers can be blocked and you can also block a range of numbers.
Very easy to use very easy to set up numbers are big enough so if people have eyesight Problems they will see them
Only down fall is when there’s a message left the flasher is on top of the phone so unless you have it on a lower table you could miss a message.
as the age of the population of the world are getting older, it would normally mean that there are more people with sight, and hearing problem. some have the problem at a younger age. these phones with a larger screen, and larger buttons are very good. it is easy to see what is on the screen, such as numbers, and large bars, showing remaining battery power. you also have a voice that is telling you the number of the incoming call, before you pick up the handset. the batteries are lasting for 7 days, before needing charging, as did our outgoing panasonic phones. if you have a large family, and you spend a long time on the phone, i would guess that the batteries need charging more often. some other named phones EAT batteries. one make, i was charging every 3 days. even when i exchanged them to my panasonic batteries, no different. put them back, lasted 7 days. there are NO negative remarks, only in my case, i wish that i had bought them sooner.
Like ability to block nuisance calls based on first numbers of incoming calls. Poor features: the menu responses are slow. Caller announcement is very low volume, can’t hear it and it interrupts the ringer so never sure if we have a call or not. Have turned it off.
Only had this for a couple of days but am very happy so far. It will take a bit of trial and error to set it up to my liking. There are certainly several alterations that can be made.
