This is a must if you’re worried or want to gift to your friends. Tried taking the pin out and its SO loud it really hurt my ears, but just means it serves its purpose! Bought one and now other people have bought the same because they see how it works. Its easy to use, to place in a secure and convenient location, and good pricing. Highly recommended

I got my first one of the police 10 years back, very loud and makes any1 run, years ago it was a second protection thing and on my person then I used on my bag ‘ I now have it on my bed table or cuddle teddy as I am bed bound so need protection very satisfied

This little thing is extremely loud. I bought this to go at the side of my bed for night times just in case. Comes on a key ring so you can attach to bags etc. perfect for anybody out and about on their own. Especially school age children but the pin is easily removed so maybe ensure it’s in a pocket on a bag to avoid going off unintentionally!

Very easy to use, I bought a pack for both of my daughters and my eldest in particular was very touched. She thought it was the best thing that she’s been given in ages as it makes her feel safer when she’s out on her own. It is extremely loud as we found out with my daughter accidentally pulled the end of it out in her bag and then couldn’t find the end to put it back in. We were all slightly deafened but reassured that it was easy to start and stop (once we found the end that was in the bottom of her bag).

This is really great to have on hand, I keep it right in my hand when walking alone and I’m a lot less nervous now. I’ve tested it and it is extremely loud – definitely enough to at least deter an attacker/thief. The flashlight is also adequate though I worry about draining the battery. Handy that it comes with free batteries. Personal alarms are the only fully legal self defence mechanisms available in the UK for now, and they’re definitely worth it for this small price.

I purchased these as a stop gap alarm and fitted them to the windows of my Motorhome following a break in. They are certainly a noisy deterrent, and would be ideal for personal protection or handbag anti-theft security.

I’ve ordered these several times, they come exactly as depicted in the Amazon photos.

I’ve owned one for over a year, and the battery has not yet died. They are easy to clip onto bags, keychains, etc. Although, I personally recommend carrying them in your pocket where you can hold onto it in areas you feel unsafe. If an emergency were to happen, and these were in a bag or jumbled amongst keys, it could create some difficulty for you.

The torch is bright in very dim areas (otherwise it can have a minimal impact). The cord is not loose or tough to pull, but firm – it requires an intentional tug (so rest assured it will not constantly set off due to being loose or be hard to pull in an emergency). The alarm itself is very very loud! However, when I pulled the cord once in the past in a very crowded building, no one batted an eye. Perhaps they thought it was a building alarm. People have also mentioned that the noise could be mistaken for a car alarm, and therefore would not alert people of a dangerous situation that you may need help from. These are some things to keep in mind, such deterrents can only go so far sadly…

Overall, the product is as advertised on Amazon and works out cheaper per alarm compared to other solo alarms sold by Amazon. I’d recommend buying this set not only because of value for money, but because it is handy having spares (in case you don’t have time to change the battery quickly) or to have something in multiple areas (e.g. one in your car, your bag, your keys, etc.).

I hope this product goes a long way in keeping people safe!

I bought these for my daughters and one for myself.
They are great and help you just give that little bit of extra confidence when walking out alone in an evening or daytime in strange surroundings.
The noise level when these alarms go off are really ear piercing and would attract anyone’s attention.
It’s so easy to replace the pin after use so can be used time and time again with a long life battery.
The only downside for me is they do feel a little bulky when attached to your keys but it wont stop me from taking it with me when I go out.

got this as a safety precaution after i had been attacked and robbed. this makes me feel safe and is really easy to use. has a little pin that you pull out to sound the alarm that you can put back into the device and also comes with a light on the front so has two uses. the sound it makes is ear piercingly loud which is perfect for its function! ive had this on my keys for ages now. battery lasts long as you probably wont be using it that much.

I wasn’t sure about these because several reviews were negative but decided to give them ago anyway and glad that I did. I got the pack of 3 so I clipped one on my handbag and they two sons have theirs clipped to their school bags. There small, easy to use and loud. They also have a built it torch which is a good bonus. I’m very happy and would definitely recommend in fact I have already showed them to family and friends.

So the package arrived. The three alarms were each wrapped in Bubble wrap inside a box, and we’re in perfect working order. I tested the torch on each one and it was good and bright. The torch works by pressing the button and holding it, something you are unlikely to worry about if you are under attack., but useful otherwise. The important bit the sound, you activate this by pulling a pin out, it is extremely loud and I suspect would at the very least give you a second or two to get away or distract them for a second or two., but I do not know. Will anyone come to your aid if they hear it, I do not know, lets face it, do you take any notice of car alarms unless it’s your car ? That said it is worth having on the off chance it deters the attacker and attracts attention, I like to think that I would help someone if I heard their personal alarm go off. So 4 stars, I took one star away as I cannot be sure of its effectiveness.
