I can’t comment on durability as I’ve only just bought it but the moment I took it out of the box I was blown away by the quality of it.
It’s really REALLY well made, it feels solid, it’s sturdy and lots of little details speak volumes about the engineering behind it.
Nice rubber inside the bracket, the thumb nut with a stopper so it doesn’t come off at the end of the thread, the quick release pin for the GoPro mount WITH a spare and so on.
This should have hundreds of positive reviews!
I use this with an Insta360 x3 camera mounted to Aprilia Tuono 660 motorcycle handlebars. The camera is reasonably heavy & the bike is quick with a firm ride but the mount is so solid it doesn’t move at all.
The materials are top quality with the main part made of aluminium & the ball joints made of high quality plastic.
Fitting is simple and there’s an insert supplied which allows fitting to wing mirror stems or other narrower items. Adjusting is equally simple due to the single rotating clamp switch that clamps both halves of the central aluminium block that in turn tightens around the ball joints at either end.
The mount comes with fittings for both GoPro and standard camera mounts.
All in all I’m really happy with this mount and can’t imagine a better solution exists for handlebar mounting. It both looks & works great.
I bought this to try on the aircraft and got my first videos. I am well chuffed, easy to alter position whilst in the air and steady as you like.
East to mount etc well worth it.
Side note the review asks about suction power and it is a physical mount so not sure why they ask.
Easily the best mount I’ve used, including the official GoPro one.
Solid as a rock at motorway speeds carrying a Insta360 X2 on motorcycle bars. Same again attached to an eBike with an extended invisible selfie-stick for the same camera. The stick at full extension wobbled with the wind, but the mount was secure.
The twin ball heads make the positioning easy and versitile. So good I’ll probably get another so I don’t have to keep swapping between bikes.
Does what it says in the tin. And the suction is min. Used it for 10 days straight didn’t need to put it back on again. Wonderful! 10/10
