De eerste verpakking als warehouse deal gekocht, bleek dat iemand de lampen had verwisseld voor standaard halogeen lampen. Is toch echt gewoon diefstal.
Although they are expensive, I’d say that these lights are worth the money, just the convince of being able to tell Alexa to turn off all lights at night, or setup routines so that when you open the back door, the outdoor lights turn on for a period of time is an absolute lifesaver. I’d recommend purchasing the colour rather than just white/yellow light version as the pre-set scenes are worth it once you’ve got a few setup in your house/garden. Often they’ll be cheaper during Black Friday / Amazon Days so hold out until then, where often you can pickup in a bundle / starter pack.
Wanted a bulb I could use with apple products. They are so simple to use and a great app to use with bluetooth. Easy to set up and use. The only negative is it can only be used through an app and not Apple Home if you only have the bulb, so bluetooth only. May look at a hub next for them, but is it worth it , I’ll think on that one.
Good add on builds to the Hue system. Have a habit of defaulting to warm white when turned off at light switch. Even though app says it won’t. Good multi colour bulbs.
We have 3 of these Hue colour GU10 bulbs in our kitchen, one of them blew last night and as a result i needed to source a replacement. I purchased the two pack as the single bulb was massively overpriced! The 2 and 3 pack of these bulbs (whilst still hugely overpriced in my personal opinion) work out much better value.
The bulbs are very different to the original 1st gen GU10 bulbs by Philips Hue. They are smaller and neater – they fit into my spot much neater and do not stick out as much as the 1st gen bulbs. They are also 100 lumens brighter than the original bulbs, colours also appear to be better.
Expensive – but if you have invested heavily in the Hue Eco system like i have then you have little choice when the blow to replace them!
The one you receive is the 4.3w instead of the 5.7, you get the new itteration which is good, no buzzing noise and more energy efficent.
Whats bad though is hue app is buggy and takes to long to update the bulbs, it took me 3 days total for 3 bulbs., you also need to update it to get the scene effects which came 2 years ago.
The lamp fitted in perfectly with ikea hgvind and ikea nymne spotlight.
You can connect to them via bluetooth but the hub is recommended.
I had had hue lights since they came out and they never fail to disappoint although expensive compared to the nearest rival you do get what you pay for and they produce stunning light effects and moods especially in the garden!! Easy to use and simple to connect as always, Roll on the warm weather so we can enjoy them
Those were addition to a IKEA lamp and my collection of about 25 Hue bulbs. I have those in the ceiling as well. They are not super bright if we talk colours. Whites are very bright and lovely – NO FLICKER at all.
They are a bit on a pricy side but I think it’s well worth it considering how well they connect and integrate with rest of the system. For comparison I also have LIFX and they use Wi-Fi not zigby and LIFX constantly disconnect..
For 4 years I never had issue like this with Philips hue. It’s best to wait for a discount, they very often reduced. Full price is a bit too high considering how frequently they are discounted!
Don’t think there are any “against”, they are so versatile, you can number each bulb, make them any colour under the Sun, for instance you could have all 9 lights (of any colour) on at once or have just a couple of lights on, put them on away from home from anywhere and turn them off at bedtime, or you can set them on a pattern so they come on and switch off at set times
This is just an amazing system
If you like personalising your lights, or controlling individual bulbs without running tons of cables… these are definitely for you!
I had philips hue bulbs for a while and I am yet to have one die on me.
The colour, and the light just feels quality and super natural. There is no flicker of any sort on any brightness. All transitions of on/off or brightness are nice and smooth, again, no fluckers or “steps”.
The app I find easy to use and setup and it is nice that you can group the bulbs together.
The only downside is the price.
Really pleased with these, easy to fit and set up. They cover a wider area than the standard LED GU10 they replaced and as well as colour they can do bright and warm white. So when you need to concentrate you can have them bright and then in the evening when you want to relax you can swap to warm white. You can also set them up to come on a set colour depending on what the time is when you turn them on. They are expensive if you don’t get them in a sale and being powered all the time they won’t be as energy efficient as turning a non smart LED GU10 off, but you can turn them off at the switch if you want, they come on warm white when powered back on and connect quickly so you can control them from the app or smart buttons/dimmer again.
Requiere accesorio a parte.
He probado muchas marcas compatibles con HUE y ninguna me funcionaba correctamente.
Firstly so many are confused why the new generation are given a G efficiency for 4.7w when previous one an A for 5.2w. The answer is nothing to do with the bulbs the governemnt changed the system. So we are using a new rating scale where a G is not the same as an old A Rating (they did this to remove A+++ ratings etc.
Now the useful stuff these are the same as the previous generation (gen 2) which are smaller than the original gen 1 bulbs these are now the same
Size as standard gu10 lamps. The brightness and colours of these are the same as previous gen 2 bulbs. Except they have added Bluetooth ( just as well – see later).
The colours of these lamps is not full RGB as with Philips they always have some element of white as well for more natural
Colours meaning red is more pink, blue is more aqua etc. that said for real
Rooms it’s pleasant.
The bulbs arrive with older firmware which should be able to update in Hue app but for
Some reason it says up to
Date even when it’s not. Go to the hue Bluetooth app it says they need updating and
As bluetooth is far faster than digne
The update takes 3
Minutes a bulb instead of 50 minutes using Zigbee. Once bulbs were update in Bluetooth it was easy to remove them from
The hub and re add them
Where they then became
Usable in the candle and fireplace effects.
