Very easy to use, but the blades are a bit flimsy not great at about a tenner apiece

These are great. I can’t see me trying any other beard trimmers at this point. Cuts very close when you want it (not quite a wet razor shave) and trims nicely as you need for taming the beard a little. Also, nice clean edges. The replacement blades are bloody expensive though unfortunately.

Very impressed with this shaver, I had been using a Remington version, which I now see is a copy of this option, with better styling, battery life and charge time. As many have mentioned the replacement heads are not cheap, but 20 quid on Amazon for three, beats 34 pounds at Boots and as am not Mr. Hairy (the Mr. Men book nobody mentions) they will last me the four months mentioned for sure. The case was very welcome and the whole thing is easy to use and travel with, so all good!

Bought this for my son and he thinks it is absolutely amazing compared to other shavers he has had .

Seems good, cannot report on blade longevity as only purchased one week ago. Will update when blade stops giving clean shave.

It’s for a gift so I really don’t know is it ok or not. Only opened it for a check and noticed that it’s with EU charger, so I need to get an adapter too.

This purchase was a gift for my father who has to shave daily . It’s the 4th one as a gift as the recipients have been so happy with them I’ve bought them for partner, son , father in law & father . They have all commented on the brilliant results for both wet and dry shaving .
Easy to maintain and clean . Keeps its charge well . Fast to charge and smooth no nik results

Used for keeping Alzheimers patient shaved and tidy. Gives a reasonably close shave without being invasive in any way. No pulling, no scraping or cutting even without blade guard.

I was deeply sceptical when I saw that Philips had invented a genuinely new way to shave, which could replace my wet razor and my beard trimmer in a simple small sized device which only needed occassional blade changes. I was blown away by the reality. The shave isn’t quite as close as a cutthroat, but it’s much better than any foil shaver I’ve used in the past. You can wet or dry shave with it, if you are susceptible to shaving rash, and it literally can’t cut you. Amazing product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNever been disappointed by one blade, easy to use, no skin irritation, close to the skin trim.

Gives a nice close shave, but the blades do not last anywhere near as long as Phillips have stated. I use mine to do a full face shave and the blades go dull after about 3-4 shaves. How’s the battery life dies it does really start pulling hairs

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s ok if you like a stubble look and not a clean shave, you can still feel the ruffness

I do like these. I have two. But blades don’t last long. They say months. But that’s if your 12 and shave peach fuzz every fortnight. Real facial hair wrecks blades in no time. And you know when they are blunt as they take your face off. But I still like them and when blades are new they are very good.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCuts well these blades however the claim of the blade lifetime is nonsense. They blunt quite quickly considering the price of spare blades. This is the 2nd one I’ve bought and this, although looking almost the same bar cosmetic appearance, charges differently than the previous with a grey trim. Charging on the grey type has a light on the handle that flashes when charging and solid when charged. This one has no such light on the shaver but a green light on the charging plug that, well lights green. Doesn’t flash doesn’t do anything just a solid green light always. So leave plugged in for an hour or two then remove.

Still coming to tearms with this razor yet, not sure if it’s for me or not.

Great bit of kit. Easy to use and trims my beard/stubble nicely every time. You can get a reasonably close shave on the neck also without having to use a wet razor. Battery holds up well and it’s a nice shape to hold rather than some cumbersome shaver.

Like the design and ease of use. The carry case is a must when travelling otherwise it can easily switch on without realising,a on/off button could solve this issue. The blade is great, just slides smoothly on the face.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI found while shaving with this it required around 3-4 passes to properly get all the hairs otherwise i was always left with a few stragglers. This was the case with a dry or wet shave. While shaving my shaft dry it didn’t knick me at all and it left a small amount of stubble, however in the shower i ended up being a bit reckless and started going quickly and ended up slicing my shaft, which hurt. When in the shower it left a relatively smooth finish but also did require 3-4 passes. It shaved the crown jewels with no problem though and no nicks! Good battery life and as long as you are a bit cautious with it you’ll be fine 🙂

This is a great little shaver. It won’t give you the closest of shaves that the really expensive shavers would give you but for a cheap little shaver that will keep you clean cut, this little baby is just the ticket. It doesn’t rip your face to shreds either and is so versatile as you can shave sideburns, chest hair, the lot. I highly recommend this fantastic little shave

Certainly quicker, more convenient and less irritating than wet shaving, but not as close: Probably leaves the equivalent of 2-3 hours growth behind. Ok if you have fair beard hair, not so good with black hair.
Can’t comment on if the blades last 3-4 months, but I can say they are fragile: DON’T rinse the shaver under the tap and then try and dry it in a towel, the first blade snapped at the mount when I did this after only 3 weeks use. Rinse, shake and leave to air dry.

This has a 2 trim edges and It does a great job as long as your not wanting a perfectly smooth look/feel. It doesn’t pull any hairs so no pain and has combs that can stand it off a bit for that stubbled look too.
Personally im a wet shaver and have a good muhle razor for when im able to wet shave(im disabled and sometimes its just too difficult) I also have a very expensive Braun electric, which is a good unit but i much prefer this philips as it ‘just works’. I would give it 6 if i could. Bravo Philips.

Like everything about this little shaver. Quick and easy shave, the attachments are good and do a great job. Finding it hard to pick any holes in it. If I was to criticise a second blade would be ideal and uk mains plug. But I am being really picky in saying that.
Have it a month easy now and the blade I got is still working extremely well. And I use it almost everyday.

Was recommended this by a friend. Best advice ever. I have a beard for years and to be honest I could never tidy it up myself till now. Do not let size fool you. The shaver is powerful and effective. It has three combs for beard length and you can shave with it too both wet and dry. It is great for trimming above upper lip. You can also shape with the beard combs off. A great product and my favourite product for 2022. I bought the shaver myself and would thoroughly recommend.

An amazing upgrade from my previous trimmer.

    Pros:
    – Flexible
    – Easy to trim face
    – Cut proof
    – No redness follows

    Cons:
    – 45 minute battery life

A great facial trimmer for any guy. Now if you want to use it for other parts of your body, I’d still recommend it to you it does a great job and you ain’t going to nick yourself.

Great little shaver, brilliant for travel. Takes up a lot less space than my Philips Beard and shave.
A little rougher on the skin and not such a close shave but great as I travel a lot.

Bought this as a gift and then for myself after positive feedback. This is great for grooming hair wherever you might want to use it. Only downsize like all these kind of products is the cost of new blades.

With the cost of replacement blades these days I am very impressed with my purchase of this item, I have had this now for two months and have not had to replace the blade once after regular use.
It gives a clean shave without cuts as sometime happens with other blades and is easy to handle especially if like me I have facial hair.
    I highly recommend this product.

This Is Outstanding !!! Any Man Whose Been Poorly Or Has Unsteady Hands Should Buy One Of These. There’s No Way To Cut Yourself & With No Water, Shaving Cream/Foam, Just Dry, This Will Cut Through A Full Beard & No Shaving Rash. My Skin Is Very Sensitive But I Don’t Have A Problem With This. I’ve Bought My Disabled Brother One & 2 Of My Son’s As They Have Designer Stubble & This Has Length Combs & Is So Precise. I Wish I’d Found This 37yrs Ago. Hope This Helps.

Have struggled to find a razor I can use on someone with limited skills. Easy for me to use on him and I think it will be a great razor to help teach him to use independently. As others have said not as close a shave as a wet razor cut but the next best thing. He looks clean shaven and fresh and had no skin irritation.
Can’t comment on how long blades last yet but charge is good. Have used a few times and haven’t had to recharge yet. Easy to clean and nice storage pouch.
    Happy with purchase.

If you are like me and you are the sort of lazy bugger who only shaves once in a while and when you do it’s a bit of an ordeal because you’ve let your facial hair get a bit too long to be tackled in a conventional manner then this is the shaver for you.

Whips off 10 days of facial hair like it’s nothing. Doesn’t shave quite as close as a wet shave with a razor but easily the most convenient shaving experience I’ve had in the last 15 years.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis shaver is excellent for everyday use.
It’s 3 years now Im using oneblade shavers, and I found them very comfortable.
It can’t clean shave like a razor or Gillette, but you can use it many times a day and no negative impact on the skin.
My skin is very sensitive, and have bad red marks with Gillette; in contrast no skin irritation with Oneblade.
The battery life is great, at least a few weeks with daily use.
The only matter is, I found buying the whole oneblade shaver more satisfying than just the head! (the price difference is usually not too much, as the shavers are always in sale!!!)

I honestly haven’t used a razor in years as I end up with razor rash every time I do so.
I ordered one of these as I had seen them advertised a while ago. They cut almost as short as a razor but not so much that you end up with sore skin. It takes a little bit of time to get used to shaving with a tool that looks and performs almost like a razor but functions in the same way as an electric shaver.
