This is a great bar and has a very nice look to it. Seems to feel better than the gym supplied ones imo. Well balanced and weighty when lifting. Had to wait a little longer for the gold and black but worth it, packaged well to limit any damage. Seems a shame to put some wear and tear on it. Would recommend though.
Really beautiful looking bar and real good quality. definitely grab one if you can! Get a couple of 5kg plates giving total of 19.5kg including the bar weight and you can do loads of exercises with this combo. I have a home gym but i keep this in my Home office next to my desk so i can smash out various sets throughout the day.
Perfect grip strength, weights don’t move when these are clamped. a great buy

I’d been looking for an EZ bar for the home gym and I have to say that this is absolutely incredible
So, to start with, I picked up the gold tipped EZ bar and it looks even better than I could have hoped. The golden ends contrast amazingly well with the black and this really does standout and look amazing.
The bar’s shaft is a nice stealthy black. As you would expect with an EZ bar, it has that twisted shape that takes pressure off the wrists and allows you to focus more on the biceps. You can take a narrower or wider grip comfortably. The shaft has a good thickness to it that means it’s easy to grip and this is enhanced by the grippy textured knurling.
The bar itself weighs 9.5KG, which is a nice weight. It means it’s strong and durable and a decent weight to start with, but you can quickly add on 2.5kgs, 5kgs, 10kgs, and get to good numbers as your sets progress. I love that it has a two inch sleeve as it means you can put Olympic plates on it – which are pretty much standard these days.
Overall, it looks great, it’s functional and can hold a massive amount of weight. Perfect!
This is one of those things that has changed the way i workout. I don’t have the weights for it yet however i don’t think i will need them for a while as there is quite a bit of weight to them without them.
The bar has different ways to hold it for tricep extension and bicep curls which is a really nice option to have and gives me more to work with especially when i have limited space at home for stuff to use for working out.
I must also highlight that the bars grip and finish is made to a very high standard. I would certainly recommend this without hesitation!

Extremely well packaged. It is sent within a thick cardboard tubular package. Quite similar to the ones which posters are sent in but larger and far sturdier. The plastic end caps of the packaging are stapled to the cardboard tube and I prised the staples open with scissors and used the tip of the scissors to remove them.
The bar weighs 9.5kg and included are two spring collars which are each flat packed in taped bubble wrap and attached to the bar via plastic security ties. A warning label warns about them springing open as they are unpacked. The spring collars are kept closed via two plastic security ties on each. I have not weighed the collars but using them or alternative bar collars, will take the total weight (without any olympic weight plates on the bar) closer to or even over 10kg.
As this is an olympic EZ curl bar, it requires olympic (2″ diameter) weight plates. Standard sized 1″ weight plates are not suitable.
According to the information the bar has both bearings and bushings.
My only grumble with the bar I received is the sleeves squeak as they rotate. I therefore wonder if an inadequate amount of lubricant (or none) was applied in the factory. Applying a little bit of 3 in 1 oil or mineral oil should fix this issue. I have also read white lithium grease is supposed to work wonders too. This bar does cost quite a bit of money and it really ought to arrive well lubricated and squeak free. I may have simply been unlucky with the bar I received. It’s a minor issue.
The chrome and black finish on the bar is very good indeed. Being rated to a 367kg capacity, the quality of the bar is excellent. This is way more than people will biceps curl perform skull crushers or triceps focussed close grip bench press with this bar and I doubt olympic weight plates could even be fitted to the space on the sleeves totally anywhere near this amount of weight. The bar should last and remain fully functional for many years in a non commercial setting. Although a bit of maintenance may be required from time to time. It could become a family heirloom!
This piece has been an invaluable addition to the home gym set up. It weighs in at just under 10kg, and has a purported capacity of 367kg, although anyone bicep curling that much will probably be Hulk, you can be rest assured it’ll handle your weights. It has a 2″ diameter on the bar so will fit standard weight plates.
What really sets this apart is the finish, which for now looks like it will preserve over time, making this a key purchase for anyone looking to add to the homegym.

First of all, it looks really stylish and high end. It looks and feels well made and sturdy. I love the finish and look of the product. It has bumps to help with grip, which is definitely an appreciated feature.
It might seem a little pricey, but any gym lover would appreciate the importance of having a well made, high quality bar. I can assume this will stand the test of time and be used for many years.

This curl bar is great because it’s only 1.2m long so it’s much easier to work with than barbell and I love using curl bar more than using 2 dumbbells as curl bar allows more natural bicep movements, not to mention you can work on your both biceps at the same time. I love the keep knurling for the non-slip grips and roller bearings allow spinning the bar easily without re-gripping. High quality curl bar for a great price. Please note that this is Olympic size so it works with weight plates with 2″ opening. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants to work on their good for upper body building and work on their biceps !
This EZ Olympic curl bar is a welcoming addition to my partner’s gym equipment. It has a really nice black finish which reduces the build-up of rust and has shiny chrome sleeves. The hybrid sleeves are good quality and great for stability. The curl bar weighs 9.5kg and is ideal for exercises like bicep curls and skull crushers.
The spring collars are good quality too, they’re strong and easy to open and close compared to others he’s used. Overall, this is a high quality piece of gym equipment that my partner will get plenty of use out of. With this, you will obviously have to use Olympic weights that are compatible with this bar.

This ez curl bar is not only practical it’s beautiful as well, the black and gold finish is a sight to behold. Everything about this bar screams quality.
The bar itself is perfectly balanced and feels great in hand, the knurling has been finished well. It’s rolls perfectly and there’s no snagging or catching.
The bar has an anti rust coating which is handy as I’ll be keeping this in the garage. Keeping chalk and much of this with a brass brush and a bit of WD40 will keep this bar looking great for years.
Also the spring collars are great as well.
