it was a complete change over from Gas to Induction Hob and i should have done it sooner.
Its so easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow, was surprised how instant the heat is and how safe it is considering the power provided.
Get a Hob get a “Hobsir” im sure you’ll be delighted.
Had this a few weeks now and can’t fault it easy to fit easy to use very quick at heating and cooling and it comes with a plug. Highly recommended
Took a punt on this hob and so glad i did. It is excellent. It comes with a magnetic nob so you can turn the zone area off with a twist of a button.
All the features of a much more expensive hob. At 280 this is a bargain!
This 2 ring hob looks great in my small kitchen of my 1 bedroom flat. The black and glass is modern and sleek. No one uses 4 ring burners these days!
It’s hardwired in to mains, heat’s quickly and has a timer and pause button. I’m converted from gas
Had to replace one I had purchased from Amazon a few weeks prior to getting this one. Easy replacement and works great, looks great and easy to install.
Good features.
I really can’t get over how utterly magnificent this hob is. We spent a fortnight in our motorhome and this has been a magnificent addition to our loves on the road. Space is so limited in such a confined space and so this has been a real saver as my cooker is tiny in there. It’s a very easy to use device and I’ve used it without building it in as there simply is nowhere for it to go in there. This will never leave our mobile home!
Very impressed with this induction hob so far, using it with a KitchenAid induction pan feels effortless to cook on as it seems to rise to required temperature very easily. There’s also a pause option which I find very useful when running around managing a busy household, no more burnt dinners! It’s only a 2 hob unit but it’s excellent for those short on space, what I really like is that it’s plug and play so doesn’t need hardwiring, it’s been a handy unit whilst we’ve been redecorating the kitchen this week and without a full cooker.
It’s compact, fairly light and cooks just as well as a main electric cooker top imo. You won’t fit 2 large pans (wok etc) on at the same time but you can fit 2 medium sized pans no problem. I love it.
To be honest, I’m struggling to find many negatives with this budget, compact Induction hob. It looks strikingly good, appears well-built, is light as a feather and best of all, it simply plugs in as opposed to the need to be hard wired by an electrician.
Yes, the controls take some time to adapt to (especially if used to gas-hob type min/max knobs), but as others have noted in similar reviews, with magnetic pans the response is near instant, fine-tuning is a doddle & the cleaning effortless! It’s obviously designed to be built in (fan is underneath), but I tried it slightly raised on my work-surface & it worked perfectly, meaning this could be ideal for caravan, camping or even table-top cooking! For me, the best feature by far is the flexible zoning which means that whilst the hob itself is small, it can accommodate both two medium sized pans, or one large pan or baking tray using the combined zones.
All the above for under 130 – has to be 5 stars!
