The Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro is a masterpiece in the world of gaming peripherals. As a dedicated gamer, I’ve had the pleasure of using various keyboards, but this one stands out as the ultimate gaming keyboard. Here’s why I think it deserves a 5-star rating:

    1. Clicky Mechanical Perfection: The Green Switches on this keyboard offer a satisfying click with each keypress. They provide the perfect balance between tactile feedback and aural pleasure, making every keystroke feel like a gaming event. Whether you’re typing or gaming, the switches deliver impeccable performance.

    2. Wireless Freedom: The wireless functionality of the BlackWidow V3 Pro is a game-changer. The keyboard offers both Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, providing seamless connectivity for gaming on multiple devices. No more tangled wires, and the wireless performance is as responsive as a wired connection.

    3. RGB Chroma Lighting: Razer’s Chroma lighting is renowned for its customizable, vibrant RGB effects, and the BlackWidow V3 Pro doesn’t disappoint. The RGB lighting is stunning, and with Razer Synapse software, you can personalize it to match your gaming setup or mood.

    4. Ergonomic Design: The included wrist rest is a thoughtful addition. It provides comfortable support during extended gaming sessions, reducing wrist fatigue. The keyboard’s UK layout is intuitive and responsive, enhancing your overall gaming experience.

    5. Premium Build Quality: The BlackWidow V3 Pro exudes quality. It feels sturdy and durable, ensuring it will withstand even the most intense gaming marathons. The keycaps are designed to last, and the overall build exudes a premium feel.

    6. Versatile Connectivity: The inclusion of USB-C is a welcome feature. It makes the keyboard future-proof and ensures a reliable connection. Additionally, the pass-through USB port is handy for connecting other peripherals or charging devices.

In conclusion, the Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro (Green Switch) is a top-tier gaming keyboard that exceeds expectations in every aspect. It combines the clicky satisfaction of mechanical switches with wireless freedom, stunning RGB lighting, and ergonomic comfort. Whether you’re a competitive gamer or a casual enthusiast, this keyboard is worth every penny. It’s a testament to Razer’s commitment to delivering the best gaming peripherals on the market. If you want the ultimate gaming keyboard experience, look no further than the BlackWidow V3 Pro. It’s a game-changer!

The keyboard is solidly built, with positive key strikes associated with all the razor keyboards I’ve owned/used. Its not as big as some if the others but still a full sized keyboard. Its compatible with the razor cortex software so setting up the led backlights is easy and can be tied in with any other led enabled devices that work with cortex. As for longevity only will tell, but I have no doubt it prove to reliable as my other razor kit so is well worth the cost.

Just another quality item produced by Razer. The company has come afar in terms of improving their products. Back about 8 years ago I said I’d never buy another product made by Razer again after my second deathadder just stopped working out of nowhere. However, today they have improved massively and I’m also back on the deathadder v3 pro/ blackshark v2 pro and this magnificent blackwidow keyboard. I strongly recommend to those who at some point in time were disgusted by this company’s QC to reconsider them again. 5

The keyboard is overall a good buy. The only issue I have is that there needs to be some sort of muffler for the keys as it produced the same amount of noise levels when comparing to my previous mechanical keyboards and the product was marketed as quieter than normal due to the types of switches it used

Good clicking sound for gaming. Not for typing or if you like it quite. If you are a gamer there are cheaper keyboards but you get what you pay for and this is a solid keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe keyboard sounds nice and functionality is great, I had a 60% keyboard and found out in games I was missing the dedicated keys so I chose this as the size is just right for me and I have all the keys I need

First impressions of the keyboard and it’s pretty good. Typing feels nice and is quiet compared to my Keychron so the dampening is doing wonders. Pricey but got it on sale for 123. USB-C, 2.4GHZ and Bluetooth which is great but Razer only offers mechanical switches however it would be better if they offer their optical switches.

It’s a solid bit of kit and works very well. Excellent tactile feel and although it’s noisy you feel like it’s built to last.

Small and compact how all keyboard should be. Made out of a solid material. Only down sides are it is the keys are very sensitive and they say 200 hours battery life but it’s more like 30

I am using a keyboard of this size for the first time, I will have to get used to it, but I am very happy for now, especially the space it has gained.

the price i can say negatively

5.0 out of 5 stars Tiny but expensive

I use this keyboard work college work but also on my ps5, first off the 3 connection types are not somthing commonly seen with many other keyboards as well as the 65% keyboard key factor i was looking for similar to a laptop. as their is no fail to how to connect it works with the PS5 via 2.4ghz dongle or wired . Next the build Quality is sturdy as the frame is made from metal and the keys are on fine and can also easily be taken off.

The ability to customise the Rgb lighting in the razer chroma app is great but also razer sells some keypads you can buy I hope to get the phantom key kaps.

They keys sound really nice and decently clicky which is always good and what you want from a keyboard.

Overall I am very happy with the product and its worth the amount on Amazon when on offer.

Fantastic keyboard, no noticeable input lat when using dongle, if you turn the lights off battery life last well over a week.
However the range is extremely short, plugging the dongle into the rear IO of my pc (about 1 foot away from keyboard) caused it to loose signal. If you are purchasing this beware that you will need to plug the dongle into the front IO so there is no interference

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users(Green Switch, UK layout) Cons are at the bottom for those interested in the negatives.

After relentless searching for a wireless, rgb, mechanical keyboard, I got this on sale for like 100 during Black Friday as there is no chance I’d be paying full price for it (I’m not made of money). Initially i thought the green caps were a bit loud but after a while it grew on me, plus with headphones on you can’t hear it. You can feel the clickyness of it when playing games or typing which going from a very basic office style keyboard to this, it was going to take a while to get use to but I think it was the right choice.

Wrist rest took some getting use to as I’d never had one before and this keyboard sits about twice the height of my old one hwoever now that I’ve used it for around 6 months, not having a wrist rest feels werid.

Synapse is also a decent enough software for controlling the RGB, remapping keys and setting a power off timer if you want the RBG to trun off a certain amount of time to save the battery. Granted I don’t use it wireless very often but it’s nice to have when I want it.

Only downsides is if you already have a lot of razer products, good luck finding enough usb’s to plug everything into. Also the wrist rest only sits infornt of the keyboard which can be annoying at first with it sliding around, but after enough use it sticks to the desk fine. Additionally some of the keys had different amounts of clicking noise, however again after a while, either I stopped noticing or it fixed itself.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnly let down by Razers rather process heavy software, the keyboard itself is great. Will annoy anyone in a quiet room as the switches are very clicky, but i personally love how clicky they are, definite activation force, relatively stable stems and double injection ABS keycaps, overall very good.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy son plays various PC games, mostly shooters and the like, and has experimented with various gaming keyboards over time (who hasn’t?!?!)… Having read reviews he opted for this one, and thus far it’s proving a faster response than he is! (lol)

He’s been playing certain games like the clappers, and thus far he’s commented that this keyboard is exactly what he wanted.
After streaming a few sessions he says his audience (mostly his mates) commented that they could hear the keyboard as he leapt about in the games shooting the wotsits out of everything that moved.

That’s the key observation though, the gameplay has definitely gone up a notch with the responsiveness of this keyboard so all’s great in that regard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great keyboard. The RGB lighting is fantastic and the feeling of the clicky keys are great. The only big issue I had is how uncomfortably high the keyboard and keys sit. This really makes the wrists and even shoulders ache after a day of work and play. I tried ordering a wrist rest to help but it still did not help.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIts a good keyboard, but the green switches are basically just blue switches that require slightly more actuation force meaning for gaming they’re great, really responsive and you know exactly when a key has been registered. (can take a second to get use to tho)

for typing and programming the key layout is great for the UK Layout however the US layout is horrific (half size enter button and shifted parenthesis keys).

the chroma is quite a nice touch, doesn’t require much setup to get it to sync with the computer but it did cause quite a few issues on restart with synapse crashing out a lot (resolved itself quite quickly after a replug).

other than this the keyboard has been great. everything is up to scratch and the build quality is surprisingly good for razer; this doesn’t feel like a cheap keyboard at all.

as mentioned above the feedback through the switches is comparible to heavy blue switches, so entering the relm of buckle spring in terms of typing speed and user feedback; fast but slowed down on occasion because the actuation force is notable. (im typically use to MX browns ).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersKeyboard is really good, I also have a Razer mouse so the RGB is coordinated. The keys are very clicky, really quite load. They sound good but it’s not going to be everyone’s cup-of-tea. I have knocked off one star because this space bar sounds a bit crap, it has a slight squeak. This could possibly be fixed with a bit of lube but you don’t expect to be having to do repairs on a new keyboard.
I have another keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches and I prefer the sound and feel of the Cherry switches. However, I do enjoy the Razer keyboard and I can recommend it especially for someone who enjoys a very clicky keyboard.

Love this keyboard. It’s exactly what I was looking for, a small Razer keyboard that’s wireless. However, I ordered it with Green Switches and I received it with Yellow Switches. After using it for a while though I now prefer Yellow Switches so it was a happy accident haha

I can compare this keyboard with Corsair k57 Wireless. The battery of the k57 is far better lasting more than 2w for my use case (developer), and as stated in the manufacture manual, you can replace its battery by following instructions. I was not able to find such info for the Blackwidow, and on top of that, its battery last for around 3 days, before I need to charge again. However, blackwidow has mechanical keys, they are indeed good for typing (my first mechanical keyboard), and could be the cause for higher energy consumption. K57 does not have them. The point that made me, sticking with this model instead of k57′ was the Aurora RGB compatibility in wireless mode. Blackwidow works perfectly fine, with any RGB profile, without cables attached to it. In that way I can syncronize wired and wireless devices RGB to my will. K57 lacks this feature, when used in wireless mode. Finally, the wrist rest pad in Blackwidow cannot be attached to the keyboard like k57. I use this keyboard in my lap, and thus it is very hard to accomodate the resting pad + keyboard when typing.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersYellow switches btw. The title says green, but in the description it’s yellow.
My first razer yellow switches, the activation distance is very low, less than cherry red I think, which is good for gaming, but when typing, I currently miss press quite a bit. I just need to get used to it.

For the keycaps, you can see the construction under some letters which makes it look like there are black lines or dirt on the letters. You only notice this when looking closely but a little annoying if you are gonna stay with those keycaps.

With the brightness on 20%, it lasts me about 2.5 days, I use it over 12 hours a day for work and gaming. But does charge to max in 2 hours which is quite quick.

This is my 2nd razer keyboard, my first being the Blackwidow V2. A great upgrade.

This is a great gaming keyboard, with great customisation options (in terms of both lighting and modes, key mapping, etc.).
This is my first mechanical gaming keyboard, after switching from a very old hand-me-down Logitech G110! First impressions were of the good quality packaging, and it was very easy to set up, pretty much plug and play if you already have the Razer software installed, which I did as I already had a Razer mouse.
I like the feel and feedback of the tactile switches, but this does take some getting used to if it’s your first mechanical! The keys are quite noisy but you end up not noticing. Tactile is not so great for typing, such as in Word processors, etc. as I keep on managing to either miss or double hit letters, but again, this may just be that I need to get used to it, and this isn’t the primary functionality of the keyboard anyway as it’s aimed at gaming instead of typing.
From my gaming experience so far, it’s been like night and day from switching from the non-mechanical Logitech. The response is just so much better and even when you are using it wirelessly, it has very fast response times.
The ergonomic wrest is great quality and provides good support, the only downside is it remains separate from the keyboard (there’s no way to attach it to the keyboard), so this does slide on my particular desk, which is glass, however I will soon be getting a Razer Goliathus Extended Mat, which should [hopefully] solve this.
The battery life is okay, but it does drain quite quickly under heavy usage. The battery level indicator is on the side and very basic (in that it’s just a tiny LED that’s green when charged or red when low battery or charging), and it being on the side is a little annoying as it’s easy to not notice it. So I have had the keyboard die on me during gameplay (not great when you’re playing WarZone!), you do get a notification on Windows 10, via the Razer Synapse software, that it has low battery, but Windows notifications don’t show for me during gameplay, hence another reason it died. The battery takes ages to charge via USB connection to the PC, however, if you plug it in via USB into the mains, it charges a lot quicker in my experience.
I haven’t used it connected via Bluetooth, however I have used it via wired and wireless connection. Both wired and wireless, in my experience, have been faultless.
I love how customisable it is, and you can easily sync lighting effects across different Razer devices in the Synapse software, and across different PCs due to onboard memory. It’s very easy to adjust key mappings, etc. in Synapse too.
Overall, it’s a great keyboard, and I’m glad I took the plunge in upgrading!

    Great gaming keyboard

Is simple enough to use but the dongle that comes with doesn’t work with my computer so I had to get a different Bluetooth adapter. I’m not sure whether the dongle that came with it is an adapter or not but it didn’t work just said error apart from that it’s great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLet me start with the good:
    1. This keyboard feels amazing to type on. The Razer Green switches in my opinion are better than the Cherry MX in feel. Since using this my precision has gone up a lot when typing.
    2. Software is pretty good. The customisability in Chroma is excellent with more options than you can count.
    3. Gaming on this is noticeably different from using a membrane.
    4. Hypershift lets you set your own macros without the extra macro keys.

    Bad:
    1. When you move the keyboard between PC’s it does not keep the RGB effect that you customised. This needs the Synapse software on both PCs to have the RGB customisation stay.
    2. No USB or Audio passthrough
    3. Keyboard height is slightly high for a TKL keyboard, but this can be mitigated with a good palmrest which i use anyways.

Note: The Razer logo at the bottom does not light up , it only does this on the ultimate edition. Found this out later as the Razer page shows that it lights up.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe keys feel great. They’re nice for gaming and typing as you don’t press keys accidentally as often as you would with a lighter switch such as a Razer Yellow, Razer Optical Red, Cherry MX Red etc.

The RGB is nice and vibrant. The pictures don’t really show how nice the RGB is as usual. I haven’t found anything wrong with this keyboard to fault it on. I can highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for a little more mouse room.

Overall, you can’t go wrong with purchasing this keyboard in my opinion. It’s great. It’s nice to have a TKL again after coming back from a full sized keyboard.

Happy with my purchase. 5 Stars!
