100% in love with these, very easy to use, connect to my Xbox with no problem and the sound is great, you can adjust the party volume or in game volume on the headset itself and the mic is clear and crisp.
Nothing bad, it charges quickly, and battery packs have quite a long battery life, looks nice but light is a bit bright.
This is the best wireless headset I’ve ever used, loads of settings within the app on your console, or can be used in conjunction with the DTS: X and Dolby Atmos app, can also be used while charging with a small portable charger, highly recommend
Perfectly colour matched to my controller. Battery replacement with supplied rechargeable one easy and once installed, sits perfectly on the stand. No fancy logos, just a simple red/white led charge indicator! Bought in January sale plus an Amazon supplied 5 voucher made this very good value gor money!!
I bought this to use with my PC. The charger is great, quick and easy to use. I am really pleased with it. But i do really wish that it would turn off the controller when i dock it. I know this is not the chargers fault,but it would be perfect if it could.
You can listen to music and play games in these headphones and it’s very good, there is also a plus that they are wireless and the wire will never get tangled, the battery lasts a long time and this is the biggest plus of headphones.
ot just for gaming these are very comfortable and have great sound too easy to use and connect.
Good quality headset, sounds great. The RGB lighting works very well if you’re into that but is easy to turn off if like me you prefer something a little more understated. Rarely use the mic so can’t really comment on that. The battery life is excellent.
These were bought as a present for my son and he absolutely loves them. I’ve listened to them and to my untrained ear, the sound is amazing. Noise cancelling is spookily good but he says it’s important for gaming. Happy son = happy dad
I already had the PS5 version and when my xbox series x controller battery gave up i replaced it with, it arrives in the branded box shown, all the parts inside are well protected in foam on remains your meet with a well made durable charging stand (made too the normal razer standards) you have the usb – usb-c cable the battery and 2 chooses for the battery housing one for original xbox one controllers and one for new gen controllers. Both fitted really well.
Set up was easy spare usb port in my multi charger and charge it unit ready, install battery again simple and to be honest fits inside both types of controllers really well, back fitted without issue place controller onto charger and boom orange light once full charged the led light on the charger turns white.
Battery seems to last well i gave it a good gaming session nearly all night and battery lasted well.
Over all a brand that is known for quality im happy to recommend
I thought that this was going to be a gimmick but it’s not, the Taptic feedback gives it a new depth in games and using the 3D sound on the ps5 is fantastic. They help with direction on shooting games and the bass sound is really good. The thing I like the most is the app that helps with settings and RGB lighting settings. The battery is very good but as soon as you have the RGB and Taptic on the battery does take a beating but I’ve not had an issue with the battery. I do recommend.
All is perfect! However the microphone is hyper sensitive, if using for Xbox then go to the store and download the “Razer headset set up” app on your Xbox to fix this
I purchased these for my daughter and she has been using these for seven months. The build quality is very good and they are showing very little signs of wear, and are used on average eight hours a week.
These do not have any sort of app so there is no ability for fine adjustment, but the sound quality out of the box is very good, and the voice chat quality nice and clear.
Overall my daughter really likes these, and for a budget wireless headset for Xbox I would recommend them. If you want customisable sound quality in a wireless headset then you won’t get it in this price range, so in my opinion these have very good sound quality out of the box and are very durable so ideal for a child.
As in the title these headphones look amazing and feel great to wear.
They have amazing noice cancellation and the volume controls aswell as mixer works great, even better is the fact its all located on the side of the headset!
My only issue I have had is every hour or so the headset gets a little distortion in both speakers but is rectified when I turn off and turn back on, unsure on what the problem is but apart from that I can honestly say they are a great purchase at a great price.
However the rest is really good
After falling out of love with gaming years ago and getting back into it now I opted for these rather than going back to Astro. I love them. Far better than I expected, sound quality you would expect from a more expensive headset.
The sound on these is perfectly acceptable, but for me the biggest draw is the comfort. I’ve a big head and have always struggled to find something that can stay on my head for hours without causing discomfort or even mild pain.
I’m pleased to report that, for me, these are probably the most comfortable headset I’ve used.
The bespoke PS5 dongle works very well, the bluetooth communication between my iPhone, my Mac Mini and my TV receiver bluetooth headphone output, are all superb, but I cannot seem to be able to connect the iPhone and Playstation 5 at the same time. Not a huge problem for me, but I feel it worth mentioning.
Battery life is superb, but I did download the Razer Chroma RGB app and turned off the headphone earcup lights and the manual claims 50 hours with lights off. The Razer Audio app works well too if you want to tweak the equaliser settings.
I’d say that the build quality is average, and it’s fairly light, but I tend to take care of my kit, so I don’t see as being an issue.
Overall, with some caveats I can recommend this headset.
Brought these for my playstation. The sound quality is average but clear. No noise cancelling, headphones feel cheap. They begin to hurt after an our of use. Overall ok to use but nothing special.
Very comfortable, easy to set up, great sound and great battery life. Only downside is very rarely it drops out of connection with the Xbox and has to reconnect. But not a massive issue and very rare
This headset is a game changer specially with its haptics, they work well with the good sound quality. The little downside is the mic where my friends hear me quiet from start than ok after very confusing and the battery life isn’t that good. But overall a great ps5 headset.
Then there’s the comfort, build and battery life. I’ve never had a pair of headphone be so damn comfy, adjust it, put it on your head and you’ll forget its even there after a while. Battery life is good as long as you haven’t got rgb on max etc. And finally the build quality is actually way more sturdy than steelseries (the plastic used on the housing is of higher density).
Overall If you can’t tell, I love this headset and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for something to show off your ps5’s audio chops, or even if you like to watch movies on it like me.
They are so much better and more comfortable for longer sessions. No need to update them even as they have the latest firmware already installed too. The Razer app on the Series X is great too allowing you to tweak them just they way you like. A++++++++
My grumble was with the Bluetooth as this is somewhat a pointless feature. As the headset uses Xbox wireless technology, when you turn on the headset for Bluetooth only use, it powers on the Xbox, and likewise when you power of the console, it powers off the headset. Also when out of range of the Xbox, the headset constantly flashes the RGB while trying to like the Xbox wireless. For this reason I ended up returning the headset in favour of an alternative without Bluetooth and a slightly better price.
That said if you only plan to use this with an Xbox console and don’t care about the Bluetooth, it is comfortable, sounds great and is one of the few Xbox headsets with a dedicate eq app on the console.
Without the Bluetooth issues this would have been 5 stars
I returned the TB Stealth 600 Gen2’s I had tried because they just weren’t for me, couple of random disconnects, clamping force too hard on the head and thought the sound was horrible, no mixing options etc….
Razer are a lot better, they are a lot comfier on the head, nicer earcups, they pair easily without a dongle, they have an app in Xbox for adjusting the sound to fine tune to your game.
The mic seems ok according to other players, they have no issues with sound quality. These also go a lot louder than the 600’s as I’m only running at about 50% volume.
Not sure about battery life yet as only got them but hopefully they don’t need constant charging.
Was a bit nervous about ordering another headset as I do love the sound of my favourite headset my HyperX Cloud Alphas but these are getting there, will take a bit of tuning yet.
Still recommed these though as an option to the thrifty who like me would begrudge spending money on Arctis 9X.
