This is the second of these hot brushes I’ve had. the first lasted some years but finally stopped heating up. However I found it so useful I bought another, not for the curls but for the smooth style it makes in a few minutes. I brush it fairly slowly through my hair and it transforms it into a smooth silky hair style, sometimes straight and other times with a curve at he ends. It’s the work of a moment and saves bothering blow-drying it. I have lots of other hair gadgets including a Dyson air wrap but this is the simplest one to use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve tried quite a few of these products with a view to achieving a bouncy blowdry effect that will last and this is the best I have found so far. Most have very little impact on my hair which is thick and coarse. This is not a brush to use to dry your hair, it’s for using once it’s dry. I’m impressed

After reading some of the previous reviews I was quite cautious at first. If used correctly it not burn your fingers or pull out your hair. It has a good long lead which makes a difference to styling your hair. I am very happy with this product and would buy again if needed. If there is any draw back. It would be that it takes a little longer than my previous styler to heat up. All in all a very good product.

I’ve had two previously but when my last one died I looked on-line for a replacement but was difficult to find one that wasn’t out of stock. I saw they did an updated version of it aswell as a smaller barrel which I thought maybe I’d like. The Remington Pro lux adaptive hot brush. I didn’t like it. Whatever the temperature you chose it was lethal to touch. I bought gloves, which helped with the heat but not styling your hair. So glad I saw my old faithful back in stock. I ordered it and was delivered less than 24 hours later. Thank you

Love this hot brush! Creates a lovely flicky look, have had quite a few compliments on my hair since using yay! Only thing is it takes a good wee while to warm up. Otherwise amazing.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersGood ol’ Remington! You never disappoint!
After purchasing and returning similar products by other providers, (some products didn’t do what they claimed, others stopped working about a third of the way through the guarantee limit and some didn’t work to begin with) I’m delighted to say that at last, I’ve found the hotbrush for me! Why?

    1. I have arthritis in both hands and wrists, making gripping painful. The hotbrush is light and with the handle slimmer at the point it meets the barrel, it’s easy to hold at all angles.
    2. The barrel heats up quickly and can be used on wet hair in sections until completely dry and curled/straightened.
    3. Barrel circumference is ideal for both short and long hair and doesn’t tangle the hair.
    4. Even though this brush doesn’t have an automatic revolving feature, the cord has a swivel joint at the base of the handle which prevents the cord twisting.
    5. The soft nylon bristles are so much kinder to hair than the hard bristles on other makes. My hair actually shines after use!
    6. I worked for Remington twenty years ago, so I know the lengths the company goes to in design, construction and testing. I’m confident that just as my other Remington products, this will work for many years to come!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is my second hotbrush my first one lasted 3 years with daily use I love it Size of barrel is just right for my chin length Bob the brush is light to hold heats up quickly cools down fast if I had one complaint it would be to be able to slide the bristles out for cleaning however I always use a damp cloth in-between the brushes to remove any hair products build up which works well

Bought to replace my old one, which I had for more than 10 years, It just smooths the hair and gives a sleek finish to my straight bobbed style.Easy to curl it under.

They would better suit longer hair even though mine is just past shoulder length still feel roller is a little large but makes your hair feel really smooth and soft.

It used to take me ages to blow dry my hair.. now I just quickly dry with hair dryer, then style with the brush takes 5 minutes..
or just use it the next day to smooth my hair really easy to use.. I have shoulder length hair..

I started using it in 2015. It is the best for a fine straight hair. It gives me the volume I need, the round ends and what I love about it is the silent mood and the quick result. The sea try is to go on a dry hair not wet and to go very slowly.

I wanted a hot brush with a big barrel to smooth out my very curly hair, this did the job perfectly. Its just a hot brush not one of those hairdryer brushes which make my hair frizzy. Nice big barrel to make big loose curls. Delighted with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is my second purchase of this appliance and Amazon was the only place I could find it. I think Remington must be discontinuing it but for my needs it us perfect and it smoothes your hair it gets rid of any frizz it is lovely and easy to use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI ordered my brush on 9 June 2022 and had no problem until today, when it stopped working. I switched it on and the light flickered and went out – it didn’t heat up. I tried to go on the Remington help site on Amazon but couldn’t access it. This is the 2nd brush of this type that has broken in a short time. I need to know whether to return it to Amazon but didn’t keep the box as I never expected the item to break after 6 months.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI bought this as it can be used at 110v as well as 240v and I needed it to take on holiday instead of my usual hotairbrush. It acts very differently than a hotairbrush as it is just the barrel that gets hot. But I was very impressed with the way it works! Just rough dry your hair then use this brush to style it into shape. It gives your hair shape and volume. You can use it in-between washes to re-style your hair BUT it did dry my hair out doing this and damage the ends of my hair as it pulls if there is a bit of a tangle. I think it is better to use it on the lower of the two settings when re-styling in-between washes. I wash my hair either daily or every other day. I think this is a great product but care needs to be taken that it does not heat damage your hair. It’s impossible to find a hotairbrush that can be used at 110v so this was a very good alternative hair styler and I will use it sometimes at home too. There is a product review on Youtube for this item that shows how to use it which was what made me decide to buy it so take a look on there if you are unsure!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI love this hair styling product. I commute to work by bike so I take a shower after and, inevitably, I need to style my hair once dry. I tried various options.
Using a hair straightener too often doesn’t work for my hair type as it leaves it too dry and prone to breakage.
Using a round brush and hairdryer doesn’t work either because I’m not very dexterous and the hairdryer we have at work is quite heavy to operate.
This is the perfect solution for my needs. I can use it regularly without fear of creating too much damage to the hair as its heating capacity is limited (i.e. it gets hot but not scolding hot). I achieve a great result very quickly and it leaves my (long, fine, unruly) hair soft and bouncy for long. I do sometimes touch up in between washes if the hair looks a little flat. The thing I like about this product (compared to others on the market) is that it doesn’t blow hot air, it just uses gentle heat and the round shape to style the hair.
Overall, extremely happy with the purchase.
Only downside (and reason for not giving it a full 5 stars) is that it’s soooo bulky!!! Cannot really take it for travelling and always end up reaching out for my sleek hair straightener instead.
I cannot recommend this for people with thick, coarse hair (as the low heat might be an issue for styling quickly) but I would 100% recommend for fine hair.
