You get amazing performance for the price.
They have a great range they are being used in an eleven floor hotel and you get clear reception from basement to roof. At this point I can’t fault them.
I dont think you can buy better for less!
Disappointed at first as these need an FTDI Programming cable to set up the licensed channels and I only had cheap TTL cables!
I managed to get one next day and the software from the Retevis site was easy to find and install.
Annoyingly once the radio was programmed by cable they have a great “Wireless Copy” function so the cable isn’t actually needed anymore!
It has a huge 2400ma battery capacity and the Mid Power setting is needed for UK Business Licenses (5w) so they run for ages on this setting and the charger is USB and comes with a UK 3 pin charger!
Excellent radios, programmed them onto UK Light channels.
The channel change with the two buttons on the side is a little different to normal but easy to use.
As with the majority of Retevis radios the manual is useless and contains nothing really useful in very small print.
Power output is to spec across all channels.
Nice audio from both the radios themselves and also the speaker mics that came with them
Well worth the money.
