I’ve got very thick, shoulder-length hair with a kink in it. Straightening it is a challenge. I’ve been loyally devoted to GHD for about twenty years now… but these are BETTER! They straighten thick hair faster AND it stays. I only do a rushed effort before work and today a colleague thought I’d had a haircut because my hair was sitting so nicely. 😀 Nope! Had just used these bad boys instead. Super-impressed and glad I listened to the hype around these!
Love these straighteners my hair feels in better condition and kept frizz , was a bit apprehensive about this purchase even though it had great reviews , but so happy I made the right choice , my hair is thick and curly . Will never go back to normal straighteners. Well with the money

Well I thought I’d give these a go. I’ve never been able to get my hair as straight as the hairdressers. I can’t believe how amazing these worked! Super impressed. Sleek and perfectly straight in only one stroke. Only slight downside is to having to use demineralised water, but got some off here for 6 quid a litre and I imagine that will last a very long time. So not too bad. I would recommend these straighters.

Took a risk on these and I’m glad I did! Nice wide plates, smooth run down the hair without snagging and bonus is the heat control.
Took me a while to get used to only having to run down my hair once instead of the several times I had to do with other brands.
Much cheaper than other brands but worth their weight in gold.
But now I usually get to day 4 or till I wash it. Its way smoother and feels better, especially as i can control the temperature.

The best straighteners ever!!! I curl my hair with this straightener in no time and it lasts at least a couple of days. The other ones I used before were not as easy and my hair would loose the curls within 1 hour. Absolutely love it and recommend. There is the advantage of the long cord too, it makes things much easie
Been using these hair straighteners now for almost 2 years and we have not encountered any problems , they are easy to use and they come with lots of extra’s .
I use the hair straighteners on my hair and both my daughters hairs , I like the water tanker that’s been fitted to the straighteners so the straighteners give to extra steam control .
hair straighteners they come with a heat resistance mat . not to worried about the straighteners not coming with a carry case because I just used my old hair straighteners case and they fit perfectly in that case .
quality of straighteners is good and they are very well made and the cable is nice and long as well . hair straighteners are easy and simple to use and have a locking mechanism so it makes it easy to store them , temperature of hair straighteners is very easy to control as well … can be fiddly but its alright .

Great straightners heats up instantly & hair glides off the plates ..great for thick hair too as can have hair looking smooth & shiny fast. Only wished it came with a carry case ..to store them away safely after cooling down otherwise all is good
The REVAMP Progloss Steam Care Ceramic Hair Straighteners are a different story however. The build quality is excellent and they have a matte black rubberised coating (instead of the cheap plastic of the Steampod). They are also more compact and are around the same size as a standard pair of non steam straighteners. The steam comes out of the middle of one of the plates so there are no confusing arrows to follow. In addition they glide through the air like a hot knife through butter – its just effortless, no snagging or catching at all. I set them to 190 degrees and was able to do my thick wavy frizzy hair in under ten minutes. Using steam the gloss they impart is second to none, and having owned a GHD Platinum Plus I can tell you that these are better. My hair is shiny, soft, glossy and frizz free and the results really last -even in damp weather. Amazing!
The only criticism I have is that the edges of the plates get very hot indeed – so you want to be careful not to make contact with your skin. These straighteners are half the price of a Steampod and they are superior in every way – there are a range of six temperature settings ranging from 150 – 230 degrees (only three settings on the Steampod and of course one on GHDs). Three options for steam – off/light/heavy (only one option with the Steampod). In addition they come with a heat proof mat which is a nice touch and a useful box for storage.
I am so so impressed with these. They are worth every penny and I heartily recommend them.
My wife bought this after looking for steam straighteners for quite a while. She was concerned about paying hundreds of pounds for something that she wasn’t sure if she’d get on with.

These are great for the price, my unruly hair stays straight until next wash.I highly recommend this product.
They are apparently Salon tested in the UK although they are made in China. They come with a handy 2 year guarantee. The instruction manual provided is in various languages.
The most important thing is how they performed:
Well my wife is extremely happy with them.
She is not a newbie to hair products and has used many different types of curling/ straightening appliances over the years. She has very fine hair and has always found it a job to get her hair to curl under properly and stay, no problem by using these on the steam option her hair stayed curled under for most of the day. So full marks there.
In use the chord, which has a useful velcro tidy strap, is very long ( just under 3 metres) and has a swivel end so does not twist up when she is using them to curl.
The straighteners also have a nice black rubberised finish allowing a firm grip when using.They are well balanced and are not too heavy to hold.
The temperature gauge is very bright and easy to read and the temperature can be selected by button press from 150c to 230c .
The ceramic plates are very smooth and glide on her hair without snaring.
The water/steam reservoir is easily accessible on the top and can be removed by just sliding a button. The steam level has a small dial for selecting the required power of steam Full/ Low/ Off. They do recommend to use filtered water to stop the build up of scale. So worth factoring in.
They can also be locked shut by pushing down tab near where they are hinged if required but she doesn’t bother with that as she keeps them in the box as mentioned.
The mat is a decent size too and easily accommodates when hot while using. They also have an automatic shut off feature which kicks in after 60 minutes.
All in all a competent pair of straighteners. The price tag is quite high but they are very nice quality and she reckons comparable to those used by professionals in her local salon.
This works well. I tend to agree with the majority of the reviews so I won’t bother just repeating what they say.
This is easy and straightforward to use. It does genuinely straighten your hair and it is quite powerful.
It seems to be pretty well made and I haven’t had any problems with it so far.
So if never heard of this brand before and was a bit dubious as to how effective they would actually be. Steam function in a pair of straighteners was a new concept for me until recently but these do just as good a job with this function as my pair of Babyliss that were slightly more expensive. My only real complaint is the location of the temperature adjustments. It’s one of those things that is hard to get right. I’ve had temperature adjustments on the side and top before and unless there’s a locking feature then you can easily press buttons whilst in the process of straightening. This has a different problem of the controls being hard to get to!! They’re in between the straightening sides. Whilst this is great for the accidental pressing issue it’s not so great if you need to amend the temperature for any reason, the irons get hot and the controls are placed right by that hotness. Besides that I’d definitely recommend these should anyone ask!
These left my hair feeling really soft and looking shiny. The only thing I don’t like is that some of the control buttons (such as the on/off button) is on the inside of the straighteners next to the heated plates. I’m worried I’ll burn my hand on them at some point.
It’s worth noting these also come with a heat resistant mat for resting the straighteners on, which is handy so you don’t burn furniture. I would say these are suitable for curling hair as I used to with my old straighteners due to the shape and the fact the outer parts don’t allow heat to travel through.
These are pretty decent, they even managed to straighten my curly/difficult hair so id definitely recommend them.

Revamp progloss hair straighteners have Keratin, Argan and Coconut infused ceramic plates for ultimate smoothness, which help frizz free & super smooth hair. The Revamp progloss straighteners heat up really quickly & when you’ve picked your correct temperature it will flash from the lowest temperature to the top until it has reached the temperature you have picked. Their is also a steam button under the straighteners which you can pick no steam, low steam or high steam just turn this dial to your choice, it will also do that steam choice. I personally don’t think it matters what kind of hair you have these Revamp progloss will suit all hair types if it’s fine hair, medium hair, or thick hair they will work wonders.
The Revamp progloss hair straighteners will automatically shut off after 60 minutes if they are not used which is a great feature to have! As you can see with pictures I’ve used a comb while straightening hair, I’ve only had to do it once & no need to redone that section of hair (big bonus). The REVAMP Progloss Steam Care Ceramic Hair Straightener are outstanding! If I could I certainly would give them more than a 5 star as they are well worth it! Packaging is outstanding as they come in a box which has been designed to shut properly with magnetically at the corners so they are kept safe & ready to use the next time round.
Wondered if the presentation would surpass the actual straighteners, but they do exactly what they need to do. The heat mat provided ensures you don’t burn anything you lay them on, whilst styling your hair. They heat up quickly and my step daughter’s long hair looked really lovely and silky when she’d finished styling it. Very nice matt finish on them, and just a great pair of straighteners
This device is pretty much an iron for the hair. There is a water cartridge just like an iron but smaller that you fill water in, and when it heats up it gives out steam (you will need to set it to the highest temperature at 230C). It is easy to handle and heat up quite fast.
As soon as you turn ir on you may choose what temperature you want it to heat up, then the light will start flashing until the temperature is reached then you may start clamping. It works really well with steam. It will only need one go on each small strand of hair to straighten it. Excellent straightener!
I really do like these straighteners especially as they have a steam feature on them. The straighteners come with a thick, 3m long cable with a chunky plug, it is what I would expect to find on a set used in a salon.
These are easy to use as well. Fill the water reservoir, turn on, select the steam setting and also the heat setting and then wait to get to temp. The steam setting is on the base of the straighteners while the temp is situated in between them. There is also a release button for the water reservoir. While I do like where this setting is positioned, I did find the temp setting being in between the irons a little awkward to get to, it is set away from the hot plates to reduce the risk of touching them.
There are a set of basic instruction and also a heat mat to place the straighteners on when they are hot. The box that holds everything is a good strong one.
I found the process of straightening my hair to be relatively quick, much quicker than my old ones. The REVAMP plates felt gentler on my hair and also that they did indeed glide over much smoother. It was very easy to straighten and my hair still felt in good condition afterwards.
I really do like these and I am very impressed with them. They are easy to use and very effective. The only thing I didn’t like really was the positioning of the temp button, but this is just a personal thing and means I just have to put my glasses on prior to setting the temp. I do think the inclusion of a small water jug would have been handy, I did have to hunt for one of my own to make it easier to fill the water reservoir.
This is a very good set and I do like the results and I would therefore be very happy to recommend the REVAMP Steam straighteners.
