La cmara de salpicadero Halo View 2K 1440P HD me parece una excelente opcin para cualquier persona que busque una solucin de calidad para grabar sus viajes y proteger su vehculo.
Tiene una cmara frontal y trasera de gran angular y una grabacin de vdeo de 1440P HD, por lo que las imgenes son ntidas y enfocadas, y la lente antidistorsin garantiza que no haya distorsin en la imagen.
Adems, cuenta con un modo de aparcamiento con deteccin de movimiento 24/7, lo que significa que siempre tendremos protegido el vehculo, incluso cuando est estacionado. Para ello es necesario el kit de cableado que no viene incluido. Tiene WiFi integrada de 5GHz, que permite transferir rpidamente las grabaciones desde la cmara a un telfono mvil.
Con la aplicacin para smartphone Road Angel Halo podemos ver las grabaciones, ver dnde hemos estado y ver datos telemticos sobre los recorridos para mejorar la conduccin. Tambin podemos editar las grabaciones de vdeo.
La cmara trasera es resistente al agua y de alta definicin, por lo que puede instalarse dentro o fuera del coche y usarse como cmara de marcha atrs. El activador de la cmara de marcha atrs proporciona asistencia al aparcamiento.
Otras caractersticas tiles que incluye son, el modo de calefaccin en invierno cuando se utiliza el kit de cableado, que mantiene la unidad en funcionamiento 24 horas al da, generando calor adicional cuando se necesita, para mantener el cristal del parabrisas libre de escarcha, hielo, condensacin y vaho. Tambin el corte de la batera en caso de variacin de la tensin.

Dans l’ensemble ce rtroviseur est vraiment pas mal. Les fonctionnalits sont dveloppes les images propres et claires mme avec un faible clairage.
Vu comme a il est beau mais une fois en place, c’est un peu grossier, c’est gros, les attaches ne sont pas trs belles et surtout les cbles qui arrivent dessus a ne fait vraiment pas beau. On aurai prfr pouvoir les brancher derrire et pas au dessus.
L’utilisation n’est pas trop complique, c’est assez user-friendly. Est-ce que a vaut le coup en revanche je ne pense pas, encore moins sur une voiture rcente.
Die Dash Cam wird mit Kabeln, Rckfahrkamera und einem kleinen Montagehebel geliefert. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist leider nur in Englisch und wirklich sehr kurz. Leider wird die SD Karte nicht mitgeliefert. Wenn diese nicht installiert ist meldet sich das Gert lautstark und verlangt die Karte. Den Spiegel kann man gut ber den original Spiegel klemmen. Man sieht auch gar nicht so stark das da ein Spiegel angeklemmt ist. Die Linse fr die Frontkamera kann man frei bewegen. Also den Spiegel erstmal so einstellen das man nach hinten schauen kann und dann die Linse ausrichten, dass sie optimal die Strae filmen kann. Die Rckfahrkamera wird per Kabel angeschlossen. Das ist natrlich ein ziemliche Arbeit das Kabel durchs Auto zu legen. Der Anschluss ist einfach gemacht. Wenn man die automatisch Rckfahrkamera haben will muss man ein Kabel an Schalter vom Rckwrtsgang legen. Das Bild beider Kameras ist sehr scharf. Die weiteren Funktionen muss ich jetzt im Betrieb mal testen.
A great mirror cam by a reputable brand. Does everything it promises but if you want the street cam you’ll need to hard wire it. Very good bit of kit that won’t disappoint.
An excellent dashcam and does away with the need for an internal rear view camera. With a widened clear view of both front and rear surroundings. Flicking from rear to front view is easy and capture of a single moment and video footage is intuitive.
A well designed dashcam
App is dire. Seems to be like a Second thought – just updated to allow this cam to somewhat function as it says on the apps update records. Not a way to change the time through the device it self, so it is constantly at the wrong time.
It is a fact that many believe that USB outputs have the same power, the truth is that this is completely wrong.
This Road Angel Halo View,2K 1440p Dual Mirror Dash-Camera,1080p Reversing Cam,10″ Touch Screen, is an example of the device that does not work if the electricity supplied via USB is higher than recommended.
So, I come to ask you to use the supplied components, if, however, you want to use component that were not supplied, you should make sure that it has the correct power, if the power is slightly above the recommended what can happen is that the camera works, but does not work correctly.
One of the ways to test whether it is working properly is to check that the rear camera turns on automatically and the yellow lines appear, if the lines do not appear check the power before making modifications to your installation.
As for the camera I am of the opinion that it is worth 5 stars for the quality of construction, image quality and ease of use, both in the App and directly on touch screen.
Recently it saved me from a horrible situation that happened to me, because of this camera I was able to present the front and rear videos that clearly proved what really happened.
I found that none of my MicroSD cards would work at all with this, it formatted ok and recorded for a few seconds but then I got constant errors and the unit would keep rebooting. I ordered one of the recommended SD cards linked on the Amazon product page for about 16 and it’s worked perfectly since.
I also had some problems with my existing power which was fully installed behind the dash, the power rating was the same and the connection was the same but all it does is continuously reboot itself over and over, I’ve been running it just off the usb until I can sort it, all my other dash and have worked off this power just not this one.
I connected the rear camera and attached it inside the rear ceiling almost touching the glass to see out the back as I couldn’t get it to the number plate area, it stuck to the ceiling easy enough and has survived the heat of the last few weeks, haven’t connected the reversing wire up yet.
The operation is easy enough after getting used to it, there is a little button on the bottom that turns the screen on/off or if it’s off you can tap the screen anywhere and it will come on. To switch cameras you swipe from the side of the screen inwards, if I remember correctly right to left for the front and left to right for the back. It powers up to the back.
If you swipe the wrong way you go to the options menu which stops the cameras recording, which is unnecessary, and takes a few seconds to exit to the camera again.
For some reason at certain times the screen continuously flickers and will do it for a while then stop again, rebooting won’t make any difference, doesn’t seem to affect the recordings though.
The camera is stable enough, there are small vibrations on the mirror but it’s still enough to give a clear view. It’s very good how you can drag up and down on the left hand side to move the view up and down the camera image as the mirror is narrower than the footage and the same on the right to do the brightness.
You can set the screen to turn off automatically after so many seconds, 30, 60 and do the other usual things like mute the mic and set the quality.
The day footage is excellent both front and rear, the night vision is just ok, doesn’t seem very clear but the front camera sees well in the headlights.
You can position the camera lens to get the best position, the lens plate slides in or out to widen the mirror and the lens itself also moves left and right. The wide angle lens is very good and it covers all of the view, slightly more than you can see.
It has a Halo app that you can connect to via a direct WiFi connection. The app is a little clunky but works well and you can see and download or email any footage, it records both front and rear cameras and stores then separately named front and rear.
It’s a good upgrade and it smartens up the mirror as well, we have a drop down TV in the van for the kids so this lets me see out the back at the same time, slight warning is that using the footage rather than the mirror show the cars much further away than they actually are.
We grabbed this Dash-Cam for a couple of reasons. We’re on the road frequently and have been witnesses to a number of accidents and incidents. Having footage of the occurrences no doubt would have been incredibly useful to the police and individuals involved. Not to mention that having a Dash-Cam installed helped in lowering our insurance premiums too.
The Road Angel in a sturdy, branded box which had a high-quality luxury feel to it. The same can be said for the materials contained within. The front facing camera, which attaches to the rear view mirror, feels heavy and well made. Certainly a piece of technology that will stand up against so bumps and scrapes, and hopefully against a full on collision if it ever where to come to it.
The rear view camera is small and discreet, ensuring it won’t obscure the view of your rear license plate and all of the issues potentially accompanying that.
The picture, in so far as we have seen, is crystal clear – details can be made out very easily which is all you could ask for really. We have no doubt that in the event of accident it will be able to provide an unbiased and factual account of what occurred.
I will say though that installation is a bit of a faff and would have liked some warnings beforehand. First and foremost, if you install both the front-facing and rear-facing cameras you will have cabling running throughout your entire car. Something I wasn’t prepared for and don’t feel all too excited about. There was also no materials include to secure the cabling to the roof of the car, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the camera does not include much of an internal storage. So if you want to record continuously as a security measure against break-ins, you will most definitely need to buy an SD-card with a lot of memory. This is only a minor inconvenience but I would have preferred this to be advertised beforehand so we could have prepared ourselves for it.
In terms of build quality it does feel very well made, it’s a large screen device that doesn’t impede your driving view out front but a small niggle that I’ve found is that in order to use this as a rear view camera for parking you (obviously? Maybe!) do lose access to the rear view mirror feature which doesn’t seem like a big deal but as you need to go into the settings to switch modes i find it more time consuming/distracting than I’d like. A quick ‘swipe’ feature would be much better imo. Otherwise I think this unit is a good all rounder with quality images even in lower light situations, at the time of review the 4K variant is listed as the same price as the 2K so If this is standard I’d definitely opt for the 4K for better value for money.
It fixes onto the rear view mirror and the camera is at the front side. There is then the rear camera that fits with a long wire to the back window. Now the only slight problem we found with this is that when you open the boot, it tends to pull the wire out on a hatchback. Not a major problem, more just a slight inconvenience.
The rest of it is awesome and I am so impressed with it. I really like that even when it is switched on whilst driving, you can still see your rear view mirror and the added bonus of a reversing cam is superb for me as I am not known for being able to reverse park very well lol.
The picture quality is spot on and I feel so much more at ease every time I get behind the wheel that this is recording everything. I haven’t even looked into it yet but I think having a quality dashcam such as a road angel, your insurance comes down a little. Just another bonus of having an item like this in the car.
