Our old radio worked fine but it suffered from the dreaded deteriorating rubberised coating, yuk. My wife wanted to replace it in the kitchen with something a bit nicer and without the sticky coating. Reviews for this radio are fairly positive, we liked the retro look and nice pastel colours also Roberts have long heritage of making reliable radios, so we ordered it. We wanted the light blue one but the dusky pink one was cheaper. I’m glad we went for it as it looks great, smaller than we expected and goes really well with our fairly modern furniture. My wife said it reminded her of her grandmothers old transistor radio, I thought it looked like my sisters old record player! It is stereo, has Bluetooth, dab and most important for me FM. It’s easy to set up and use, sound quality is good but don’t expect deep bass. I stream music from my iPhone 15 Pro Max through it and it’s a huge improvement over the phones inbuilt speakers. You can also use the headphone out to connect to you aux in on your sound system. I cleaned the old radio and left it in the kitchen, the new one has pride of place in the living room. Does seem a bit on the expensive side for what it is but I love it.

It is a very nice digital radio, nice size, nice design and easy to get it working. It has a very good sound quality, which is all that I wanted. It is quite expensive though, a lot more expensive than the Roberts digital radio I bought a few years ago.

There’s nothing I dislike about this radio. There was one in the cottage we rented last year & we loved the tone & clarity of sound so decided to get one. The bass quality of sound & the voice production are the best in my opinion.

I’ve been wanting one of these for a while and I’d been given an Amazon voucher so went for it. Very attractive to look at and excellent sound quality.

Instructions for setting up not as clear as could be. However, I’m sure I will get the hang, though my old Panasonic radio was easier to set up etc.

    Very nice looking radio
