I first bought these shoes when travelling in New Zealand in 2020. Best shoes I’ve ever had when they loosen up, I am around 100KG and walked at least 1000km in them.
Was delighted to find them on Amazon as I haven’t been able to find any for a long time. Love the black – I personally think they are smart enough to wear with jeans as well. Will be getting another pair as well for back up.
As for waterproofness – I have never had any issues at all, can walk through puddles etc. just like all waterproof shoes, if you get water in the top of the shoe you will notice it.
No complaints. Very happy with these. They’re comfortable right out of the box. They look good and work well. I haven’t tested out just how waterproof they are yet, but if they’re anything like my other gortex salmon hiking boots they should be great.
I love Salomon shoes and boots, usually fit is perfect but these appear a little narrower than others I have.

Comfortable straight away – no need to wear them in. Lightweight and waterproof.
After just a couple of hours they fit as comfortable as a pair of shoes I’d been wearing for months.
I realise it’s all down to personal preferences, but I’ve always found Salomon footwear the most comfortable of any of the top brand names.
Essendo goretex obbligatorio prendere una taglia in pi. Io ad esempio normale prendo 43, ma queste le ho prese 44. Tuttavia, la prima volta calzano molto strette. Soprattutto nella zona della pianta e sopra le dita. Tuttavia, esse do stoffa, bastato tenerle mezza giornata con doppi calzini per allargale.
Ora vestono giuste, ma non sono io tipo da mettere calzettoni doppi. In questo caso sarebbe opportuno prende la mezza misura in pi.
bit on the tight side for normal size 8. ordered 8 and a half. good fit.
This is my second pair of these shoes. I wanted something light and comfortable but also supportive. The added advantage of being waterproof with a good grip helps during these winter months. They are really good to drive in. They are also available in a larger size, 13 1/2, whereas it is sometimes difficult to find other makes of walking shoes for sale above size 12. I highly recommend these shoes.
I have only had the shoes for a week but the fit well and are comfortable. With all the wet weather we have had on the South coast this past week they are also proving to be waterproof.
if you’re looking for a real Gortex shoes that might not be the best option,,, it’s ok for hiking in drizzle or light shower rain but in heavy rain it gets wet inside in 10 mins!
Excellent running style trainer from salomon bit slightly narrow.. very lite weight too.
The shoes shipped quickly and the color is great! I will say, the 11.5 tan smaller than I thought so I stepped up to a 12. The mid section of the shoe runs a bit more snug than anticipated but it really is firm fitting with plenty of comfort and support. I have yet to get tired of wearing them and I think with Alittle more time, they will form even moreso to my feet.
Although I have narrow foot the standard fit was a fraction narrow. I am confident this will meld to my foot in time
Had them about a week. Spent about 4 or 5 hours straight in them at the weekend and i didnt feel any of the issues that i had in my previous shoes. Just wish I’d got them sooner.
his is my second pair – more relaxed design than some of the more brightly coloured fell running shoes – but great for walks with damp ground or a dew filled morning….
I was looking for months for just the right shoe (I am very particular) and this was it. Light weight but with a with a stronger hiking-type sole, with Gore-Tex and good appearance. Light enough that you forget about them, but strong enough for light hiking on moderate terrain. The only caution I have is that some might find the advertised size smaller than expected. I normally wear 11.5 (US), but I tried on that size at a store and round them a bit too tight in the toe. They did not have a 12, so I ordered it from Amazon and they were perfect – one of the best fitting shoes I’ve had.
Bought these for my husband for Christmas. It felt like a bit of a gamble buying online as usually we’d have gone to the shop for a purchase like this. His feet are 11-12 and the 11.5s fit well – at first he was unsure and said they felt tight wearing them around the house but after he’d been out for the first walk they loosened up and now says they are very comfy. No wet feet so far either and we have been on some very wet walks. All in all great shoes for local bimbles and summer walking, would probably stick with proper walking boots for tougher mountain walks.

Io di solito ho il numero 43. Prima avevo delle Salomon, comprate in un negozio. Il commesso mi ha fatto notare che dovevo prendere un numero pi grande per la vestibilit.
Insomma, il mio numero era il 44 e 2/3. E cos rimasto. Sono andato direttamente su quel numero e non me ne sono pentito.

I had some trouble replacing my previous boots as I need a slightly wider fit.
After trying 2 or 3 different makes these were exactly right, a perfect fit and very comfortable from day 1.
I take shoe size 9 but the 9.5 in these was perfect for me.
Used for medium hikes 6-10 miles.

Nhten am Fu.Man hat aber nichts versprt.Auerdem meint die Freundin der she nach einem Arbeitsschuh aus.Mir wurscht.Meine Geox Freizeittretern sehen zwar schicker aus aber da spre ich jedes Steinchen durch die Sohle und knicke auch schnell ber die Sohle ab.Ich brauch stabiles Schuhwerk.Der Angebotspreis von 70,- war auerdem zu verlockend. 😉
hey are for narrow feet, but for me fits perfect. true to size. among sneakers with gore-tex i think its one of the softest and lightest shoes. Will see how they show themselves in bad weathe
great quality, my feet are somewhere between 11 and 12 and these accommodate my wide feet comfortably but are borderline on length, the bigger size is going to be a lot too big.
