It’s great quality, easy to pack and everything is built very well. Only downside is it scuffs a little easily, but that’s the same with all hard shell cases
Upon opening box could see that this had been opened previously. Labels had tie wraps affixed and on the top of suitcase was a strip of masking tape with a message stating item not Ok !!!!
QA sticker on box dated Nov 2022 could not have been checked.
Sent straight back.
p.s. ordered a new one again. Will wait and see results.
Second order arrived, unmarked, correct labels and in good condition. All handles and wheels work. Zips OK.
Will comment after using next week.
Strong and sturdy with a lot of storage capacity.
After 4 years of travelling a lot the zip tag broke meaning you couldn’t lock it anymore. I now use it just for storage.
Good product overall
Check your airline if you want to carry it on – it was too big for easyJet. That said it looks god and was very easy to manoeuvre through crowds. We added a brightly coloured strap to ensure that we could pick it out on the carousel (there were a lot of similar bags on our flights). Quite pricey but I’m expecting a long life!
Everything is good. Looks beautiful and capacity is large enough. but it’s funny that I spent 20 minutes searching for how to unlock it and after I did it, I found the paper with unlock instructions is inside the case.
I know it’s only a suitcase but it looks great. It went to Asia and back and was perfect for one person.
Great suitcase. I marked it down on sturdiness as its not like my other samsonite cases which are very hard and solid. It’s got more flexibility to it. But still very good. Lock is secure and easy to use. Case also extends which I didn’t realise when I bought it. It’s probably bigger than my other samasonite by actually lighter.
Looks ok but handles feel like may be not sturdy time will tell as not used yet.
Product came on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. Surprisingly lightweight for the size and the ability to expand is useful. Not yet taken on flight but will do in the next few weeks. Ordered 1 with a view to see if it was good enough to buy 2. Placed the order of a second after inspecting and testing.
Good brand and has plenty of space.
Only downside I’d say is that the expandable section makes this suitcase a bit unsecure. Get the feeling that if it were thrown about at the airport, it’d probably tear. Bought two of them. One in a smaller size and felt the same with that too. A little over priced for what it is but a good case overall.
I only gave 4 stars because I just traveled once and the locking system is broken, you put the zip edge in the locking system and because the way they throw the luggage in the plane they just broke it. Is a pain to pay this money for a luggage and use it one time, could be better if you just use a normal locker, is a shame I didn’t know that time.
The zippers are not smooth on the corners . My one came a bit raptured.
The body is not scratch proof. They scratch easily and the plastic is not string enough on the outer shell.
But it is easy to travel with and I always loved the SAMSONITE brand from a very young age.
As someone is very travelled; I make two trips a month between various long and short haul destinations, it is important that I have robust and high quality luggage. Having moved to Stag from the older style Samsonite cases the latter, which did not last as long as expected for the price I paid, I decided to go back to Samsonite.
Having made several journeys now with them I can honestly say that they are well worth the money even though the price for a case is quite steep and may put some buyers off.
I would say pay that bit extra and invest in these as they are very strong including the inside lining and zips, which on other equally expensive cases tends to break within no time all.
They are good looking too and despite being white they do not discolour or mark any more than a darker colour. They also wipe clean very easily too.
All in all a good product that does the job intended but with that added bit of style and quality.
