I am a 76 year old disabled pensioner so had to get a friend to come and set up the TV. The TV is everything I expected so very pleased with it. Unfortunately I do not have the Internet so cannot take advantage of all the smart features.
I’ve had my TV for two months now and I’ve got to say I’m nothing but satisfied. The picture is fantastic and the interface is very easy to navigate. Also, being able to charge the remote is a lot easier than scrambling to find new batteries.
So we just bought a new Samsung as the misses won’t have anything else! 🙂
We love it, it works great and a lot easier as everything nowadays is built in, so we already threw away the fire stick adapter 🙂

Always bought Samsung tv’s and this is no exception color sound setup etc all relatively easy
I am not expert… its big auto contrast fails from time to time, does note cope well with direct sun, not as good as my 10y old plasma TV. Althoug TV has some fitures allowing to reduce sopeopera effect its gets tricky.
Automatic sound adjustment don’t work as good for me as I hoped-for but it works. By all means it has far more superior picure quality vs my old plasma so it was no disappointment it that matter. As smart TV on android woks ok but more open to external app ui its something I would wish for…I had to factory rest it after few months of use, it was not recognising the amazo stic, but now it does. ( it has dedicated app and netflix, amazon dedicated remote contrall buttons as well as smart remote controller with voice control)
I still think it’s decent product and some things like Samsung tv and some chanells are adding to that value. Sound itself and way its spread it’s very good too, to make it perfect it miss only some gentle subwoofer.
TV is grate, but blures when watching sport. The delivery driver dragged the TV from his van. It was supposed to be unpacked and set up. The delivery driver refused and said he would not give it to us if he had to fulfill the set up. TV is working well with nice sound. It needs HD channels for it to operate well. Gave four stars because the price was reasonable.
Got this as I’ve been wanting a good 4K tv for a good price for my Xbox series X, it supports 4K gaming and it does it really well, it also supports Dolby vision and Dolby atmos. My surround sound hasn’t been this good ever so really pleased with this. The quality of picture is really good so if you are searching for a good tv for 4K less than 1K then this is a good option.
Very good and what you expect from Samsung, there has been a few occasions where network connection has failed to connect but after turning it off and on again it seems to connect eventually.
I had a Samsung tv for 15 years with no problems. Decided to get a modern TV at a mid range reasonable price to go with sky Q and Netflix. Only had this TV for a week so far very impressed with picture and sound. Set up is easy. I paid 799 and its now 736. But I’m still happy. Very good telly.
Have now had for 6 months and am delighted with picture, sound and ease of use range of apps not a techie but was easy to set up adjusted colour to my taste so many options to fine tune is brilliant even the game shows like the chase with very heavy colour saturation was able to get right. Also like as I have Virgin that it set up app on smart menu so it can all be done from TV remote. Well worth having ethernet cable connected rather than relying on WiFi sound is so good that I no longer use sound bar on this TV
Really great and MASSIVE TV. The picture is beautiful, but you need to manually switch off the “soap opera” mode, because by default everything looks like it was shot on a UHD mobile camera. Connects to wi-fi smoothly, streaming services easy to configure. One thing to bear in mind: it’s really big, and really heavy (approx. 30kg). It requires sturdy table / bench to stand on.
The sound is amazing, I have connected it upto my stereo using an optical digital to aux adapter for films but other times you may not need it. But for more detail 5.1 sounds amazing and better than any other TV has done before even with just aux connected.
For gaming well I only have an xbox one but it will enhance the image mind for a nice crisp clear picture but if you want to see how good it can be go to YouTube on the TV and put in 4k gaming to see how beautiful some games look, it will make you want to go out and upgrade your console straight away.
The ports are a bit to upto date if that makes sense, no av or scart. Does come with 2.1 hdmi slot mind. You can always get a decent av to hdmi adapter if needs be but I wouldn’t buy cheap on this as you’ll find the picture quality will go rather dark.
Controls are amazing, two pads although they are fading out the one remote and replacing it with the solar remote with controls everything anyway so it depends on the person, my other half uses the remote with everything on and I can use the solar remote with ease (has not needed charging yet since I bought it weeks ago)
(side note) I bought a 4k blu ray player which inhances dvds and I was rather impressed with the quality and upscale, obviously stick to HD and you get the better images but I really can’t grumble.
Over all for the price this is an amazing TV to have that I’d go out and buy another if I could afford it. Great for films, sport, gaming, sound is brilliant, image from older programs on normal free view channels like classic eastenders and stuff look great compared to some 4k tv’s. If your on a limited budget you can’t go wrong.
Bought this to replace a 42″ Sony Aquos which finally died after 14 years service. Was considering another Sharp but read reviews on the samsung 50″ and thought sounds good.
Said expected delivery was 4-6 days but actually arrived the next day. Good start there. From opening box to fully operational only took about 30 minutes, probably been quicker if I could have remembered passwords for all tv and streaming apps. The tv virtually set itself up and found and connected my Sky box and sound bar, no problems at all.
Bought this 55″ TV after seeing all the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. I’m not sure what I would change about it. Picture quality and sound is great. (There’s one review that says there are 3 big ads on the remote – firstly you get two remotes, one is SOLAR powered and the other has a Samsung, Netflix, and Amazon Prime button – I think that’s what he’s talking about and I don’t know where he’s coming from, they’re literally buttons with the logo on them).
Reviews were excellent and so went onto Amazon and the price was 300 cheaper for the exact same thing. Zero hesitation in clicking buy now.
120hz HDR 4K gaming is absolutely amazing and everything else on it is Bob on what I wanted. 2 remotes, regular and one you can tell Alexa to change channels if you can’t be bothered to press a button.

It was very hard for me to confirm the label type until I got the TV. And I’m happy to note again it is a VA PANEL and looks stunning! Amazing blacks and amazing for gaming. Black levels are just behind oled but nothing will ever be as black as oled but the black levels on this TV are still great! And the picture and colour quality is amazing aswell.
Gaming wise it’s perfect and does 120htz and my xbox series x looks epic in it. Also the multi screen feature is really good too. I can play xbox and watch TV at the same time now.
I would highly recommend this TV at this price, because it is selling for 1400 everywhere else and it won’t be. 999 for long!
I hooked up a surround sound system and it’s superb.
My one gripe – when watching dvds and even some blu rays, the picture is not great. Tried messing around with the settings etc. and can’t resolve it. Sometimes blocky with dvds, and with blurays, sometimes the colours are way too vivid…
No such problems with Netflix or Prime….
