I am very short sighted and after doing some research decided to get a curved screen.
It has made such a difference to me. I am no longer getting headaches and can sit at my desk in comfort.
I’m very pleased with this purchase. It was easy to put together and sits perfectly on my desk
Due to an eye nerve problem, I had to think of using a monitor (instead of laptop) and after much research I came to choose this monitor.
The picture is very clear & I watched netflix on it too – its excellent. I’m pleased to move forward working using this monitor and I will be able to work on my spreadsheets & numbers!
There are no inbuilt speakers . But you can attach headphones if you like.

In terms of the curved screen, I actually brought a flat 27″ and didn’t think anything about needing a curved screen. It was only after I actually used the flat monitor, that I realised that it is pretty strange to look at (I’m sat close by – desk and computer set up) that I returned it and got this on the black friday deal. Having a curved screen is much more natural to look at.

This make using laptop so much easier to use and it easy to assemble.
The screen is very wide and comfortable to work from.
I find it replaces the need to have 2 screens whenever I need 2 tabs at once.
This is ok value for money. The quality of the picture isn’t up to the standard of the brand we are replacing. But it’s ok. Not a bad price. Hubby’s happy with it and it was bought for him.
I found that the adjustment angle of the monitor, at -2 degrees to start with, very stiff and required a couple of attempts to get it to the +20 degrees I needed. The information sheets supplied with this monitor cover many languages with the English section being very small and basic. I have down loaded a copy from the Samsung web site in English with is much better.
Overall I am quite happy with this monitor and up to now, having got used to the wide screen from my old square one, would certainly recommend this unit.
For the price this is good value for photo editing, web browsing and Microsoft office. Not best for video watching and gaming due to 60 Hz refresh rate

I am getting on a bit and needed a bigger screen for my laptop. Wow this has made so much difference. I would recommend it to those over 60 who want to browse the internet in comfort.
Bought this to replace an old screen that failed. Worked out of the box, connected via HDMI to my pc , no drivers etc required.
Clear sharp image, the curve does really help with eyesight comfort.
I can’t comment on gaming suitability as I don’t play games.

It is very good for general use especially for banking shopping , but do not play games on it I also use it for communication that is why i have gave it five stars
Recently got my 2nd one and now feel like Mr Universe in Serenity. Good for general use and casual gaming, but for competitive gaming I would recommend a proper gaming monitor instead. Its a decent price for what it is.
Pretty good screen, not a high end gamer screen but certain fit for 95% of us normal computer users.
It’s nice and light, pretty straight forward to use with hdmi lead supplied, there’s no display port other than hdmi, hence the none gamer screen. Versa fittings are on the back (200*200 I believe)
Has a headphone jack, but no speakers (it’s a monitor) a nice little stand and it’s a Samsung so build quality as always is perfect.
If you’re a hardcore gamer you might want something with a higher refresh rate ect. But as I said for most things this screens perfect. Just get the 27inch version.
I wanted a bigger screen than the 24inch one that I was using and I wanted a brand that I had heard of, already have a Samsung tv that is brilliant for our use, I saw the Amazon listing of this monitor, read a load of articles about curved screen monitors and decided to take the plunge.
The monitor arrived in simple packaging, of course I didn’t read the stand assembly instructions but it only took seconds to work out how to do it.
Performance is brilliant for me, hardly any adjustment was needed, I increased the colour level a little.
The monitor is connected to a Mac mini, which is mounted on the back of the monitor and the the viewing distance is 3ft from my chair.
It was a very good buy for me, love it.
I do not game so can’t attest to what it would be like for that usage.
I was worried it might be too large, but now I don’t think I could go back to a smaller monitor.
The picture and screen quality is brilliant. Colours and text are crystal clear.
At first, I wasn’t sure if the curved screen was a bit of a gimmick but actually it’s great, I can notice the difference between the flat screen on my laptop and this monitor and I prefer the monitor hands down.
I’ve attached it to a wall-mounted bracket for ease of positioning and that works well.
Overall this is a great screen with fantastic picture quality.
Bottom line – yes I’d purchase again, in fact this is the second screen, I’ve now purchased one for my son.
Very nice looking monitor with a sturdy stand gaming on it feels smooth and responsive and when the gaming mode is activated in the settings
it makes the game look so much clearer would deffiently buy again i got the 27 inch and well worth the money screen also has a setting that turns it on or off with the input device this is a setting that can be turned off but it is quite helpful and it is on by defult the joystick on the back of the monitor is alot easier than buttons on a generic screen to navigate around the different settings if your looking for a gaming monitor or just a monitor to watch films on deffiently consider this monitor for the price and size its a no brainer i use it with a headset as there is no internal speakers but there is a jack in the back to hook up speakers brilliant monito
Aside from the curve the colours are true, the picture really sharp and it’s fine for gaming. I know this isn’t a high end monitor but at the price it is it does represent excellent value for money. I’ve noticed less eye strain even after hours of use too. So another bonus.
This is a superb purchase for a casual gamer. I didn’t expect it to be such a big screen, as I’d been used to a 23inch monitor for a good few years.
The curve feels natural and doesn’t take anything away from the viewing experience, it enhances it massively. Even though it doesn’t wrap around your head, you do feel more immersed in whatever game you’re playing, or film you’re watching.
Was very easy to assemble, plug and play. The picture settings were spot on for me out of the box.
My only issue with this monitor, is that the resolution isn’t high enough for a monitor of this size. Whilst the colours and picture are superb, it definitely isn’t very ‘sharp’. It’s a real shame, but as a casual gamer, it hasn’t taken too much away for me.
At 160 it is a bargain to be honest!
I use this one with an 17inch HP Pavilion laptop which does not have an HD screen but I found that the graphics card outputs at HD 1920×1080 level if not restricted by its own screen being on. So I set it up so the screen goes off when closed but the computer stays on (windows 10 – settings — System — Power and sleep — Additional power settings — Choose what closing the lid does — Do Nothing).
I also use a Logitech wireless keyboard & mouse with a single shared dongle as it has a good battery life and a good range should I put the laptop through the TV via HDMI. (Logitech MK270 Combo Keyboard and Wireless Mouse – UK QWERTY Layout.
Also just added Logitech Z120 Laptop Speakers 3.5mm USB powered which have a wonderful clear mellow but very natural sound. These sound best through the monitor jack rather than direct from the laptop.
I do recommend this monitor, it really is an instant laptop upgrade to a very big clear picture with really black blacks and vivid colours.
