I got this on a end of summer deal and it was an absolute bargain. Full price I’d say it’s still quite a good buy for what it is – an incredibly light device perfect for carrying around and using the internet and office apps.
Got this for my daughter for uni and it’s perfect, she loves it, and with windows it beats out the chrome book options, which are cheaper, but as I said, I got this on a deal and it was a no brainer. It’s approaching a niche device based on size and weight coupled with adequate performance and that’s why the price is what it normally is, but unless you’re looking at a MacBook Air, or dell xps, this is as good as it gets.

I have this laptop bought from Amazon deals.
My advice is go to Amazon warehouse and buy used product.
Is good quality. I need to buy additional support c port to usb case.
    Don’t worry
My laptop works fine at this moment
I save 500 pounds to buy used laptop.
I think Amazon have a lots of good deals for everyone.
Speed of this laptop is experiencing great.
    Already installed windows 11
I have to dents ath the back of the laptop.
    Who cares
Great Laptop, Great Amazon Customer Service, Half Price, Saving Money and help .

Got this Samsung Galaxy Book S on the early Black Friday deal in June at almost half price. Wanted a size like this with good screen, something more modern, light weight. Wanted the grey initially but they it was sold out at the sale price so I got the earth gold. No regrets!! Such a beautiful colour and love it!!

Charging fast, so light to carry, touch screen is a bonus if you need it. Screen is great, too. Sometimes the reaction on opening tabs a bit slower and thinking a bit longer, but all in all I am really pleased with my purchase. The keyboard has extra letters for other languages which is really useful in my case, only noticed it later and was so happy for this discovery! Having Samsung mobile as well it is great to be able to connect all devices. Only can recommend this! Just wait for a good deal….. 🙂

Bought this for my son for his A levels, replacing his 5 year old HP laptop, he absolutely loves it, the resolution is fantastic, i5 processor is a dream to work with. Waited for 6 months since the purchase to see if any gremlins come by, but none so far. Very pleased

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this when it was on a 35% off so price wise fantastic deal. We debated a lot whether to get the apple or this so didn’t open the product for 2 weeks from delivery. We only use the laptop for emails, internet, some music and Netflix. No gaming or heavy duty usage and it’s perfect. So light, I am actually scared it will break. Touch screen and battery is to die for. As of now we have used this for over a month and love it.

I just love this laptop. Well or should I say tablet! Best of both worlds. I love iPads but hate the fact no decent key boards they don’t last (the keyboard). Nice to have the option of the touch screen but nice not to lose your keyboard skills. The only negative is windows 10 doesn’t offer so many apps as iOS.

All in all really pleased and would recommend especially for anyone who like a light touch track pad.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI am not a techy person whatsoever so I am going to share with you my experience at a very non-technological level, here we go:

I was after a fast, light, and why not, fancy laptop. I am studying a new degree and also sometimes revise drawings from work while I am relaxing on the sofa (both in CAD and PDF, I work in construction/architectural stuff) after I’ve finished with my day. I was thinking of taking the risk and getting an Apple laptop, but I do not own any Apple devices, they are not amazing with CAD and I was hesitant to start now. I do own Samsung, my last three phones are Samsung, plus TVs and PC screens. I stumbled across this absolute made in heaven machine by just mere chance so I thought “alright, it’s Samsung, I’m cool with that, core i5 which will support CAD drawings easily, manageable size and a nice colour, let’s get it then”.

Battery life: it is long, very long. I use my laptop a couple of hours a day, I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and I have charged it just once, seriously. Never had something like that in my life. I’ve taken exams on it, created all sorts of documents, watch videos, open CAD… unbelievable.

Screen: it’s touch screen, nice clear display which goes (almost) right to the edge.

Sound: really good. It’s not like the metallic(ish) sound we are used to from other laptops. For a laptop standard the sound it’s very nice and warm. I like listening to music, specially classical, while I’m working on a document or just browsing the internet, and honestly I didn’t have to worry to connect it to my speakers, and I am very picky with the quality the sound quality of my music, specially when I listen to Vivaldi. Also, not related directly to the sound system but sound after all: no fans, no noise. And it doesn’t overheat either.

Mouse: nice and smooth, you don’t need to break your finger to do a double click. Just a gentle tappy-tap would do.

Camera: great image quality. Way better than my work laptop (a really nice Toshiba). Clear and neat image, no flicks, you can adjust it in the settings if needed to but in all honesty the default setting for this element is good enough.

Weight: very light, and very thin, you can fit it easily in a handbag or backpack, it’ll take no space. I am not someone who likes travelling with a laptop, but I honestly wouldn’t mind to take this wonder with my on holidays (when they let us out, of course).

Connect other devices: no problem at all. I got a multiport (non-Samsung) and it works great. Got my new, fancy ergonomic mouse, port for the charger, etc, and it works perfectly fine. It also took me two minutes to connect it to the printer (HP), which is the most dreaded moment for any average laptop/PC buyer.

Price: I don’t think this laptop is overpriced for its standard price which is just under 1,000. But I was lucky as I got it on a flash sale and managed to get around a 20% discount.

Summarising: if you are thinking of buy a new laptop, buy this one. 250% recommended.

This laptop is quite simply the best I have ever had. The screen is fabulous. The laptop is very light and easy to move around. Fabulous!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAn excellent slim lightweight computer. Looks great in earth gold.
Key board is super sensitive and the fingerprint log-in is hopeless. As noted by other reviewers the key back lights need to be stronger in darker conditions.
STILL WAITING FOR SAMSUNG TO HONOUR IT’S CASH BACK PROMOTION………….IT’S NOW BEEN 60 DAYS!

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersSo, I’m a student nurse in my first year of university. A lot of my work is research so I needed a decent running laptop. I spent a few weeks wondering whether or not to purchase this laptop or to go with a known laptop brand. In the end, I decided I would go with Samsung, since all electronics in our home are Samsung and we can’t fault them.
The laptop was well packaged and it was a very fast delivery. When I pulled it out, I was in awe! (That’s what she said). Just wow! So sleek, and with a beautiful finish. It states “earthy gold” (I don’t even know what that means), but it is true to the images provided. It has a pinky/lilac finish, with a gold overtone. Very pretty.
The keypad is purple, which is my favourite colour, so very happy. The back-light on the keypad is hardly a back-light. I even turned all the lights off and in the dark, it barely looks lit. Luckily, that wasn’t a need for me. The keys are only slightly raised, and I’m not used to that, but I’m sure with time I will be.
It runs very well. It took 10 minutes to install all the updates, including windows. Once that was all done, it was a wonder to work on.
The camera was important, due to all lectures being from home, now. It is a decent camera, even with just a lamp on next to me, the image is clear and not grainy.
Yesterday, I left it running while I tended to other things and it went into sleep mode. I came back to it and it wouldn’t come out of it. I pressed all buttons, moved the touch pad, swiped the screen and nothing. I thought “well, there ya go, it’s broken already”. My husband held the power button for 10 seconds and it turned off. When I turned it back on it was working fine. I don’t know what happened and I’m hoping it was a fluke.
In all it is a beautiful piece of equipment, that will hopefully get me through the next 3 years of my degree!
4 stars, due to the “fluke” that I think might happen again and that, I think they could have done better with the keypad. But, I am happy with it so far.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOld laptop became too old for work and gave me error messages, at startup. As my work depends on a good functional laptop, used the Prime Day offer, and since the Independent reviewer thought it was the best on offer, weighed my options and opted for this one.
Asus had bigger discounts and probably I could have bought a really high-end laptop if I would have been fast enough in my thinking process….thought until the daily deal had ended since all laptops were sold out. So, it was Samsung. Portability is good. And fit for my work. Earning back its purchase sum now…..
Ah, and it came with a free external disc offer, which was a nice touch, and helpful.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI ordered as I have a a Galaxy S6 tablet which I just love! And i wanted to see how it was! Disappointed Amazon reduced the price 4 days after I bought it by 150! Thanks Amazon! Could have got the ridiculously expensive case too! That to one side and if im honest im getting used to a windows laptop again! Its actually been a nice experience learning all the different bits! I haven’t had a Windows laptop for around 10 years! So it was nice to see its a bit more user friendly, easier once I converted my favourites on the Galaxy book, like Google chrome, and some of my games. I found some great writing software and I cant wait to explore that!

The Galaxy Book its self is really sexy! Sleek, and incredibly thin! I love the pinky colour and the keyboard is lovely and responsive. Can’t get into the spec’s as i have no idea what it all means! Al, I can say is that pages open quickly, the colours on the screen are vibrant and bright and the sound is great! Battery life seems to last most of the day with fairly good useage! Im not sure it comes close to 10 plus hours tho!

I was almost going to send it back as a grand is alot for a laptop, but the more I use the more I seem to uncover about it and so far I love it! Its been great discovering things about the laptop. I love that it is sexy n sleek! And just incredibly thin! It does everything I need it to fo, online shopping, watching media, Facebook etc. Plus I get to look fashionable! Can’t ask for much more! Except………if I coukd improve it, then I wish the keyboard would fold right back so I can use the tablet mode properly! That would make it 5 stars!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersRecently bought one of these as I was sick of my heavy old HP. Really light, really fast and responsive. Has made my life a lot easier, not having to carry about a heavy thick old laptop.
