Bought to replace a Samsung M31, which got a soaking and gave up the ghost. That one had a great battery life but doesn’t appear to be available new hence this newer version. Still a good battery life but not as good as the old M31 hence 4 stars. But otherwise does all thing things I want a phone for – making calls and texts, running business MS exchange email suite of features, and represents excellent value for money in my view. I don’t use if for games or videos so cant comment on that performance, but I’m pleased with my enforced purchase.

Its a dual SIM phone and i alternate between EE, 3, ID mobile and O2 sim cards, THEY ALL WORK AS 5G. That person probably hasn’t got a 5G contract.
Anyway, for the price the phone is brilliant. The Samsung M series were originally built for the far east market at much higher spec than the Western markets hence it feels like a flag ship phone but with one or two features missing. It’s how they’re able to sell it for such an amazing price.
Screen, battery life, speed, camera, build quality, all amazing. Dual SIM works flawlessly and yes, all apps are optimised when the phone starts, it literally says it on the screen “optimising apps”.
There are hundreds of options for personalisation of the phone (probably too many) and you can spend hours going through them. There is nothing new in a flagship phone anymore which justifies and extra 800+ so this phone is top notch for the price, get it while it’s still a decent price before it creeps upwards.
Apple phones are not for me….too expensive and prefer Android etc.
Just need a decent phone to make calls and take pics etc and lasts a few days regards battery.

The battery is a 5000mA so it takes a couple hours to charge to max with my 15W Kindle charger. (at 25% battery it takes 1 hour & 40 minutes to get to 100%).
If I had a 25W charger it would take about 1hr and a half. If you are using an old 5W charger it will take forever. It last me around 2 days, & I use it a fair amount.
So on the whole its good mid range phone, its 5G but its not water proof like the A33.
It also has a nice 120Hz screen. Just like all phones, the package comes with just a USB C cable. No mains charger is included. I would recommend buying a 25W charger (or at least 15W).

In use for a month now with no issues.
Needed to replace my aging Samsung J6 and The Galaxy M33 5G seemed to tick all the boxes. I swapped the SIM downloaded Samsung Smart Switch onto both phones and transferred all APPs, photos etc. in no time.
The speed difference between my old and new phones was noticeable immediately. Smooth video streaming and although I am not a great user of the camera on my mobile it has four lenses for close up (macro) and wide angle etc. Had the phone a few weeks now and I have no regrets in buying it.
Performance wise is good,
Not heavy.
One slot can have 5G and other support 4G.
Battery is bit worrying. 2day maximum if you are average net user.
I bought this to replace a Samsung A70, whose battery life was on the wain. This phone has 5g but is otherwise similar to the A70, slightly bigger and heavier. It has the features I wanted that are getting increasingly hard to find:
– Dual SIM
– SD card slot (separate, not shared with one of the SIM slots)
– Headphone jack
There are some corners cut – the screen is LCD rather than AMOLED but it’s still fine, and the processor is a cheaper Samsung one which hass a better spec on paper at least than the A70’s.
One great feature is RAM Plus, which takes some of the storage and uses it as memory, making for a faster and hopefully longer lasting phone (if it’s not the battery that goes first, it’ll be the memory struggling with ever more bloated apps).
All in all very pleased, it won’t win any awards but is serving me well.
