I have had plenty of phones over the years my last phone was OnePlus Nord which by the way is excellent phone but s22 ultra is different class so far so good.
Had to look through lots of sellers as I am aware that some sellers don’t send the actual device. But safe to say that the phone came in a sealed box, wasn’t tampered with or broken. Had some bumps on the sides but I’m guessing it’s from all the travelling it’s been through. The phone is legit, checked all numbers and updates came within 1/2 days of using it. Has the phone for couple of months now, cannot complain. Everything works fabulous no issues with the device.
Thr phone is simply exceptional. Best phone you could buy for the money in 2023

Using this phone right now on this review, it smooth, intelligent and so well built. Too scared to drop it even with the case but my god I’ve never had a phone so clean. Write with the s pen is incredibly. I was used to my tablet with the s pen but this one is so small yet surprisingly comfortable. Never enjoyed anything like this before. Got a bargain at 820 and it was worth evert penny and more. If your looking to get S23 ultra I’d definitely recommend it cause its the same phone but the new one has a bigger and better camera. Go for it.

This is the best mobile phone I have ever had. It arrived the next day. Screen quality marvellous. Even the fingerprint works.
I love everything about this phone. Battery life is great don’t have to charge everyday. The only thing is I have bought a full cover which is great but doesn’t recognise my finger print or face. But otherwise its great.
Problems with Android Auto – the phone does not connect to the car (same car and cable as S10, which worked perfectly)
However, one area that could use some improvement is the bloatware of unwanted Samsung apps like Bixby. While some users may find these apps useful, others may find them unnecessary and even detrimental to the phone’s battery life. It would be better if the user had the option to choose whether or not to install these apps on their device.
Despite this small issue, Samsung is still a brand that is worth investing in. Compared to other smartphone brands like Huawei and Xiaomi, Samsung is a more trustworthy and safer choice, appealing to those who value human rights. Additionally, Samsung has been known to create ads that are inclusive and appealing to the LGBTQ+ community, making it a brand that appeals to a diverse range of consumers.

I panicked a bit at first but then looked up YouTube instructions and followed the picture icon instructions to change the language. That helped and I’m enjoying my phone.
Kindle app really burns battery though.
Trade in I am fuming about. Sent a phone packed, protected and in pristine condition. Been damaged and rejected since leaving me. Do not recommend this at all.

The spen is not operating as expected. This is my third “note” phone so it’s a bit disappointing. The phone itself is still good.
It’s a really heavy phone, but I don’t mind that, it doubles as a personal defense weapon.
The camera quality is good but I can’t see any real difference from my old S10, I’m not expert though.
Negatives – I would of liked a headphone jack, no removal memory card.
Overall a great phone
The phone is great – Amazing build quality, the S Pen is suprisingly handy, and overall its a wonderful experience.
Then, theres the battery. Which, if im honest about, was slightly dissapointing. Now, that being said, after owning the phone for a few days, it has started to improve after a few settings changed and the phone has had some time to learn my habbits. Fingers crossed it gets even better, from what ive seen on reddit it takes a few weeks to learn.
Overall, id highly reccomend this phone.
Its Andriod familiar side buttons with an easy to use OS make this an asset, not a piece of confusing tech. With a completely wonderful camera, I (not a photographer) have taken some pictures that are just stunning. Its fast processor is pleasing and multitasks without any issues. Internet connectivity is good and very quick on 5G. The Stylus is such a bonus.
The only bad point is that the battery does deplete quickly when using a lot of processor.
Overall – I have no regrets purchasing this and I would recommend this phone.
Everything is fast as possible on this phone. The camera loads fast. Apps load fast. I can have a few apps open and go out of them and onto another app and then 20 minutes later go back to exactly where I was on the first app.
The camera quality is insane, there is so much detail in all of my photos and the video is also super smooth.
The fingerprint reader is good but it depends a lot on what screen protector you get for the phone.
The battery is quite long lasting when gaming or watching videos.
The screen quality is immaculate. It is so good looking when watching films or YouTube videos.
The built in S-Pen is also a super handy feature if you like to take a lot of notes and the delay between the touch is incredibly low. It is like writing on paper it is so so good.
Im in love with this phone, unfortunately couldnt post any pictures as im currently using this. Everything works fine, still getting use to this but may need to recalibrate the touch now and then as sometimes it freezes.
Im pretty sure the nightgraphy feature that the adverts were displaying is misinformation as i have not come across it on the phone. Apart from that, screen display superb pixel quality specially those 4k videos!
Audio is loud and clear!
Charging is pretty damn fast too.
In my case, I received a phone formatted for the Chinese market. So turning it on greeted me with a foreign language text. Luckily I had my old phone to hand so could navigate to the right menu to select English UK by comparing the two settings menus. Anyone else may struggle here.
Begs the question how or where these are sourced?
Otherwise brand new in box and now working perfectly. In English!

OK, I upgraded from an S20, and this phone is HUGE. The camera is fantastic, even though YouTube videos have you comparing zoomed in photos with the USA version, but I’ve taken some fantastic photos with this device and it is amazing.
I don’t game on phone so can’t really comment on that.
The screen though, OMG, this screen is amazing. I don’t usually watch films on a phone but I started watching Free Guy and ended up watching the entire film. So cool to have a film capable device that has HDR.
Speakers are really good for a phone, got this connected to my watch and earbuds with ease.
So if you stop obsessing over the tech reviews and just use the phone in real world scenarios, your gonna love this phone.
I went for the burgundy 512GB because no memory slot unlike the Note10+. I didn’t have any of the software bugs people mentioned here, however an annoying one was during calls sound kept cutting out a few seconds, I was ready to parcel it back up when an update landed and thankfully it cured the problem. Most phones need updates to iron out bugs, Samsung are quite quick in releasing them.
The note 10+ feels more premium in the hand than this phone, but the s22u has slightly better specs 120htz screen amongst others, would I have bought this If I had a note 20? No, I could have probably hung on to note10+ another year but we all want the latest and greatest right now.
Would I recommend this phone? Yes. I would probably wait a few months and get it cheaper because the price on release is too high, I don’t like that. If you really love the note series like I do it’s a must have. It’s like a laptop in your pocket.
Nobody does phones as good as Samsung but you do have to pay the price.
As a result i decided to buy the S22 Ultra in burgundy. The phone itself is great. Decent weight, decent screen, and the usual Samsung bloat wear! Having used the phone for 2 days the battery life seems very good, unlike the fold phones!
Overall I’m depressed I’ve had to spend another serious load of cash on another phone, but equally i do really love the handset.
Also i have been able to claim the galaxy pro buds via this purchase. For those who have struggled with this claim the Samsung terms state that the phone much be sold/dispatched by Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. My phone was sold and despatched by Amazon so the claim went through in less than 24hrs.
