I was really surprised at this. I bought this whilst it was on offer so sub 200. I just wanted a tablet to watch movies, skim the internet and checking emails – and this is awesome. Can’t believe the sound quality as it does Dolby Atmos through 4 speakers. The screen is sharp and responsive. Having said that it’s not an instant response kind of tablet but deffo not so slow it’s annoying.

Have been useing Tablet for 2 months , Unfortunately I paid the 219 for it .However even at this price point its worth this cost .I liked it so much I purchased a second one for a 14 year old girls Birthday present .
Good news price had come down to 179 . (September 2023 ).I use tablet with Yamaha’s music cast app for to control a Yamaha network receiver ( amp 2 channel)
And integration is good .Spotify and Amazon music work ok .I can also play music stored on tablet with music cast app ,played through yamaha amplifier and speakers ,the tablet is the control device .
Round up this at current price point makes it a bargain 169.

Ordering goods from Amazon app is ok .
Otherwise I cannot fault this samsung Table

Positive: good value. loading and downloading speed is above average this is the same for picture quality. Plenty of handy features, no issue so far

Negatives: 32gb memory is on the small size

We bought this tablet for my daughter in place of a fire tablet. Android OS makes it very easier to use, and plenty of parental controls that are easy to set up

This tablet is amazing for the price , fast and able to run multiple apps at once . Game play is actually good on game such as call of duty mobile version. Word and office 365 run smoothly. Able to download from Netflix and YouTube. Perfect tablet for anyone going traveling and not wanting to take there expensive laptop or MacBook

purchased 2 months ago but left doing a review incase i had issues with this tablet. the tablet was very easy to set up when useing it for 1st time all in all it took me arond 10 mins to set up and download apps and so far very happy with it. what ever the reason anyone is looking to purchase new samsung tablet and even though its last years model (2022) its worth the price. purchaseing this tablet what ever its used for like work, personal for home use and even downloading games you will not regreat purchaseing it. this is one tablet i do not let my kids use. delivery was next day and arrived in excellent condition and packageing was sercured.

The fastest most stable tablet I’ve used but not quite as fast or with as many features as my Samsung S20 phone & it was over 100 extra for the version that takes sim cards when tablets at a fraction of the price take dual sim…

This was a replacement for a Lenovo who’s UI was the source of much frustration. The Samsung runs Android as you’d expect. The only negative thing I can say is the screen brightness seems below par, but I can live with that.
What’s been realy poor is Amazon’s delivery. Signed up for prime, was supposed to be next day delivery but not calls or no emails to say there was an issue. Logged in to account when package failed to appear only to fin it had been collected by courier but then returned. Update said delivery late, if not received in 3 days time check account again. I appreciate things can go wrong, but when I cancelled Prime, Amazon charged me for Prime services that had failed.
So I cancelled the ordered and bought my machine from Argos which I collected same day.
Your communication needs to be better Amazon.

I needed to get a new Samsung tablet as the battery was not lasting my current one, after reading the reviews I decided to buy this one really easy to set, copied my apps over really quickly, sound and screen are on point, would definitely recommend, it arrived the next day after ordering.

He has had android pads in the past, but he said this one is so much clearer easy to use and married up with the case I bought him at the time he loves how slim and well made it is it was it is it also a little heavier than the last one he had, and as we predicted it is a larger battery, so that is where the weight is so this pad definitely last longer. No need to charge up every two days. it was slow at first on start-up, but once all logged in and a couple of days later, he says he can’t keep up with it, so I am writing this on my dad’s behalf as he is a bit old school and don’t do online shopping

Have always had iPads, but I fancied a change and got a Samsung phone so got the tablet to match.
Nice little thing, good size and not too shabby, but it’s not Apple quality and lagged more than my older iPad. Ended up sending both the phone and tablet back to Amazon and replacing with a newer iPhone and reverting back to my older iPad. I guess I just prefer Apple products.
Nothing wrong with these at all if you need a basic tablet, just not right for me

I have always had iPads in the past but wanted a cheap tablet for streaming and reading the news at work. Got it at a great price and havent been disapointed. To be honest I think the screen is better than my iPad Air and only use the Tab 8 now for streaming films and TV. The sound is loud and crisp again better than the Air. Maybe not as fast but the Air was nearly 3 times the price. Would seriously consider an S line Tab next time I update my main tablet. I like the fact you can sideload apps you cant use on an Apple.

Wife loves it. She already had a Samsung Galaxy phone so it was a very easy tablet for her to navigate as she’s not the most tekky person in the world. As for me, personally I’m an apple guy but when setting this up for the wife I was also very impressed with the look and smoothness of it.

I like the big screen this tablet has, it is quite big for the price and big tablets are good for streaming in my opinion, however, i don’t like the slow charging it has, i Believe it comes with a slower charger than most, it is good for anyone looking for a budget tablet, the S pen doesn’t work on it so for anyone who wants a pen for it, getting any samsung pen would work because it would act like a finger. Recommend this product.

What I like:
The size of the tablet is great and does feel good in the hands
Has a smooth finish, and nice corners.
The screen is a good size and you get good picture quality for streaming and can use the full screen compared to the 9th gen iPad where you can’t use the full screen
The speakers are really good and I like that there are speakers on both sides compared to the iPad which has speakers on just one side.
Memory on the tablet can be extended with a micro sd card compared to an iPad where you can’t.
Price is very affordable.

What I don’t like:
It can be slow at times, especially when you try to multitask.
The cameras are awful but no different to the more expensive iPads. Would have expected better camera quality given how far cameras have come.

The Samsung A8 is a great tablet with 32GB of storage. Perfect for streaming, browsing, and everyday use. Purchased for my 84-year-old dad and he can use it just fine. I did get a case because it’s very smooth and can easily slip out of the hand.

This would be a perfect 10″ tablet, however, it has one of the worst night light modes I’ve ever seen.

The tablet has a far too bright minimum brightness, and the night light (called eye shield on this) mode ends up actually brightening the screen with a very ineffective beige/brown filter that somehow makes it appear brighter… Let us reduce the backlight further if you can’t be bothered changing the colour profile!

If you use your tablet in dark places or times then this might not be the one for you. Look for one that allows for far lower brightness.

Almost perfect, just the WiFi range isn’t great. So if I’m upstairs using the A8 tablet my signal isn’t great and it doesn’t run good without the Internet obviously.
My phone is full signal in the same place. I have the fastest Internet going with virgin.
I find myself downloading kindle books and Netflix series just incase Internet isn’t good on the tablet.
The rest of the time the tablet is great, smooth and I’m happy with it.
Bought for kindle so I can read graphic novels and watch YouTube.
Not had a problem with it, had it for over a month now.
Wife lends it to watch Netflix if I’m hogging the ps5 haha.
It’s light ish, got a case for it straight away. It’s got 4gb of ram so that’s brilliant for me. I don’t play games but I imagine it’ll run well enough.
I do risk assessments on this for work and it works well for that. So I’m pleased all round.
