The watch itself is easy to use and love that you can change the display of the face for different uses. The battery life is a huge disappointment doesn’t last nearly as long as it says it will basically needs charged every day .
Love the watch, just hope the back covering doesn’t fall off which happened to my first one when eventually all it would record was my steps, all other functions ceased
First day of wearing I was playing with it a lot and the battery drained quite quickly, but it did last all day. Really good watch, excited to do a work out in it to test it properly. I like that it prompts you to move every hour. The mobile app is ok it might be nice to have a larger range of apps you can use.
So easy to set up and use ,good quality, nice looking so far so good
As others have said battery life is short but I’m OK with that.
After having 2 fit bits over the years I have to admit this is more accurate far simpler to use all round bette
Really enjoying the watch. Only downfalls are battery life get around 12 hours. Also, disappointed that Galaxy Store doesn’t have many apps which are compatible with the watch. I use Amazon Music and the app is not available.
I already have one and never had any issues, but brought this item when it was in the amazon sale as a Christmas present. Went down a treat and been used everyday since. Really easy to set up and link to your samsung phone, makes it easier to track exercise and reply to messages when out and about.
I really like this watch. I would recommend it 100%
Battery life could be better; I have to charge it every other day. Personally that does not bother me too much, and everything else is so good I am still super happy with the watch.
This was a present for the wife. She really loves it. Still getting used to it so things can only get better once she has fully mastered it. The only gripe she has is she has to charge it daily. But this might be down to a hidden app she has running which drains the power. All in all. Great product and I would get one for myself if I didnt already have a smart watch. Recommended. I so got her a screen guard as well which works perfectly with it. She has the Galaxy S7 phone so it connects to older mobiles if you’re wondering.
Good watch but I’ve noticed my phone does drain a good bit quicker especially if you have the Samsung health app as well. If you’re in Ireland be wary you can’t use the watch for contactless payment. It only has Samsung pay and that’s not available here
Firstly, I had no idea I would like it so much. It’s a marvelous device with such brilliant features and design. I never knew I needed one so much. Easy and straightforward to use, it needed to be as I’m not massively tech savvy. Brilliant gift.
Battery life 24hrs at best. Everything else about the watch is fabulous, I dont know how I coped without it.
Price is great. Samsung apps are trust worthy and there are many of them. I love that there are 100s of free watch faces, I change them daily. Lol
This is a good product, but the seller should check the boxes, as the instructions are not in english. This was very annoying. We had to watch an internet demonstration.
It’s great! I love it. It does everything I wanted it to. It’s true that the battery life doesn’t last long, but neither did the Fitbit’s. It’s easy to charge though, you just plonk it on the magnetic charger and it charges quickly. I bought a refurbished one from Amazon at a bargain price and it is like new, so I cannot grumble.
Upgraded from a fitbit to this and I’m addicted!
This has helped me develop my running ability, love that it also tells me when to slow down or quicken my pace. Am also really pleased that I don’t need to take my phone out with me in order to use this function.
The watch is fine, very light and good-looking.
It goes well with gym clothes or smart outfits.
I have had a good experience wearing it and using it for my workouts so far.
I love the fact that I don’t need to bring my phone with me when I run and it stores a good amount of songs in it too.
It sometimes thinks I’m cycling when I’m actually driving along a bumpy or uneven road.
The battery won’t last more than one day without being charged.
App limited and inflexible. It won’t let you pick more than 3 sports and zumba isn’t on the list. Battery life is rubbish. Have to charge it every day, fortunately the fast charger works really well.
Fits my small wrist, doesn’t look too big, comfy, watch face easy to see. Bought it because it was on special offer and am very pleased with it.
Do not be deceived this watch will only last a day on battery in normal mode. The picture is deceptive there is a 4mm wide Black ring at the edge of the display . So the active part of the display is smaller than 40mm. Actually 28mm diameter.
However a lovely little watch if you don’t want a big one .
Bluetooth connection works very well if you switch off the Automatic Power Saving of all the apps associated with your watch.
Samsung will not give you this advice Please take mine.
Enjoy .
Got fed up with fitbit moving functions to subscription only and recently bought my first Samsung phone so thought I’d try this, based on many good reviews here. Only had it a few days but I’m very impressed. Looks great, very comfortable to wear and seems to track exercise accurately enough. The only negative for me is the battery life and charge time. It can just about stretch to two days but, realistically, I’ll charge it daily (on the evening when I’m not doing much anyway). I looked at a few galaxy watches and decided that I can live with daily charging for what I’m getting from this. I also like that it syncs with my fitness pal, that app makes logging food intake a breeze. All in all, very happy.
Absolutely love this watch. Took seconds to pair with my Samsung phone.
Easy to use and has heart rate, stress, exercise measurement. As well as receiving messages, WhatsApp, messenger and snapchat notifications and more. It has a mic so you can add reminders via voice as well as answer calls but it doesnt have a speaker so phone calls are only one way. Also has a great sos feature incase you are in trouble. Loads of downloadable features like new clock faces and apps. Battery life is about 72 hours and doesn’t take long to re charge. Definitely recommend.
I bought this as a present to my wife, she appears to like it, wears it every day. The watch was easy to set up and is good for fitness tracking. Watch battery last about 2 days.
Brought for my wife, who has a slender wrist and doesn’t like watches that look too chunky.
This is just right, and looks great. Very easy to use, compared directly against my galaxy watch, lack of rotating bezel is no problem at all.
This was obviously an import, as it starts in a foreign language, but this rights itself after connecting to the phone.
Very quick delivery, much cheaper than available elsewhere. No issues at all.
I’ve owned a number of smart watches, including Apple Watch S3 and S4. The Galaxy Watch Active doesn’t have as many features and apps as the Apple Watch but, if you have an Android phone, it’s the way to go. It works brilliantly with my Galaxy S10e. It’s really lightweight and not too big like some smart watches. Tizen has matured as an operating system and it offers most of the apps I need, including Spotify. At just about half the price of an Apple Watch, it’s a bit of a bargain and leagues ahead in quality and functionality when compared to a Fitbit Versa..
I found it a little hard at first to find how to get to, and work the different features. I still don’t know how to take blood pressure which is supposed to be possible. And the number of stairs climbed seems excessive sometimes.
On the plus side, most readings are accurate. It encourages me to keep up the activities. And I love the possibility to use my own photos as a watch face, although I can then only read the time.
For just over 200 I don’t think you can get much better than this smartwatch. It has all the fundamental features that I was looking for in a smart watch with the activity tracking and heart rate monitoring. The response to notifications is good with speech recognition or old fashioned key-pad style predictive text replies. There is also Spotify functionality where you can pair your watch with Bluetooth headphones and listen when disconnected from your phone. All in all a solid fitness tracking watch.
