Just what I needed. Not a great stand compared to other product I have but fair enough. Screen is just perfect for what I need

I use it for work and usually have three side by side app windows. Works great and the image is good.

I bought this to use as both an additional monitor for work and as screen for watching online streams. Picture quality is awesome and is an excellent screen for software programs for getting a wider view for those big spreadsheets and working on photoshop.

The monitor itself is exactly what I was look looking for to team up with a Mac Mini Pro. The downside is the stand. There’s no adjustment and the support is so flimsy it wobbles when I type. Not a deal breaker, but I expected something that wasn’t made out of egg boxes!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI don’t get the bad feedback for this monitor although there are a few things that bug me, firstly ( and mainly ) controlling the various options for this monitor is the circular nipple placed at the back right and behind the screen … in my view totally ridicules, OK, you don’t need to adjust this every time you turn it on but for me, as it sits back and behind my studio monitors it’s hard to access it with a lot of messing around. I feel the overall brightness is too high, ( even after adjusting with said nipple ) but it is not a deal breaker, at least not for me and the colour is quite satisfactory again for my needs.
One plus is that I can plug a pair of cans in the back,or indeed, to a speaker set up ( requires an amp ) and hear say YT as a separate sound source, this is selected by the speaker icon (bottom right ( in windows)) which allows me to listen to either TV mode or Studio mode … if that makes sense. I read that the stand is flimsy .. well if you’ve got it perched on a wobbly surface then I guess the monitor would shake but for me it’s fine and no worse that any other sand at this price point .. which brings me to my final bit of this review … As a wide screen monitor, given the added real estate you get from 3440 x 1400 resolution screen and (not mentioned here ) 75 Htz refresh rate, only on HDMI 2, (great for gaming I’m told), this bit of kit is a no brainer for the money … and it took me an age of research to make my choice. If you move up from dual monitors, as I did, this is a clean less cable move creating a nicer environment. So there are draw backs that could be resolved by a higher spend but hey! it is what it is ….. All it needs is to be reliable .. I’ll check back if it’s not …

It is a great size and ok for graphics. This is my standard screen. I have a better screen. I use both. For the price it is amazing. I paid 200 it is really worth it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst off, I have a 3 monitor setup and this was to join a 24″superwide and a 24″ 16:9 monitor.
This is HUGE! In comparison and dwarfs the other superwide.
Simple set up and includes 1m lead.
Crisp blacks and colours (set the res to 3440 x 1440 in game and its wow!) and it certainly has presence.
Haven’t used stand or used speakers, but am more than pleased at what this has.

5.0 out of 5 stars Am more than pleased

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGot this monitor for work and I am so pleased. Yes it is not a bells and whistles monitor for fast gaming, but that’s not why I bought it. Replacing my dual setup of a 25 inch widescreen and laptop has meant I can improve productivity. Clear space on the desk and I am so glad I did. This size is about where I would say the limit Is before needing a curved screen setup. But it is 3440x1440p and clear images.
For circa 250 quid it is a bargain and you would struggle to get 2 monitors and a stand for that price. I have it mounted on a stick deskount arm due to size and it is great. Cannot comment on the basic stand as I did not use it.
If you are considering this don’t hesitate.

The screen is fine for basic use, wouldn’t recommend for gaming as such, I have this as my centre screen in a triple monitor set up and works well for my use case. Colours are a little bit off but depends on how you calibrAte them. Fair overall value and build quality

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersOK, so some users will put this monitor down for gaming purposes and others don’t like the wobbly stand that you cannot really adjust that much. Let’s face it, if you want an amazing gaming ultrawide, you aren’t going to get that for 300, and the stand will only wobble if you start moving the monitor rather than looking at the display!

I have had this monitor for over a year now, and it has never let me down. The colours have been fine tuned to match my other 3 monitors using Datacolour’s SpiderexElite, and it gives me exactly what I need for work productivity and advanced photo and video editing. I have all of my monitors on gas lift arms anyway, because let’s face it, most monitor stands aren’t great and you have better flexibility with adjustable monitor arms.

If you are on a budget, or even if you are not and wish to enter the world of ultrawide monitors, you can’t really go wrong with this one. Refresh rate is 60Hz if using HDMI, but if you use the Display Port, you get 75Hz.

All in all, I am really pleased with it!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCheap, dim colors, but hey, it’s the best ultra wide monitor money can buy. For this money you can buy either good ips or OLED 27 inch monitor, or this mediocre 34 inch ultrawide. It feels cheap. It’s light and hollow. Stand is not adjustable so be ready to spend another 30 for vesa stand.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersA lot of reviews are getting into lots of technical details about monitors but I have trouble telling one from another, and I am guessing so will you. I wanted a widescreen monitor so I could have two documents side by side on the screen simultaneously, and this works perfectly for that. Its also great for watching widescreen films. I doubt you could do better for the money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally enjoying the extra space. It’s like having two monitors on my desktop. Picture quality is certainly good enough for general/ office use, I mostly use it for web design and photo editing. Only slight issue is that the stand could’ve been a bit more robust.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThe picture is good and clear. Response time seems good enough for my games. As some may point out, yes the supplied stand is less than ideal. Mine is mounted on a different stand via the vesa mount on the back and seems good enough. The factory stand is central point so its essentially a see-saw acting as a monitor. For the price, it seems to be a good choice. As with any product like this, its a subjective opinion. I won’t bother with a “wine taster” type review about meaningless technical attributes. The price was good and it operates as I expected. That’s about as good as you can get.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt is great to have the additional screen real estate. Arrived quickly and easy to set up. Mainly using with MacBook Pro but also connected Xbox series S. initially Xbox image was stretched but after altering settings on the Xbox and display have the correct aspect ratio supports Picture in Picture. Would definitely recommend installing a window manager on whatever OS you use to organise and snap windows to the size you want. Picture is bright and vibrant with multiple presets.

I bought this to replace two aging 1080p monitors. It takes up much less space but has more work area. The screen is clear and bright when used for work and gaming.

In retrospect, I would probably have bought the curved version – although this one was a very good price on sale.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis monitor is amazing for the price. I went and bought a second one because it is so good! The picture quality is as great as you’d expect from a samsung panel, and it is a fantastic price for a monitor this size/quality.

It states it has AMD freesync but when you turn this mode on it also supports Nvidia G-Sync so you should be ok whichever GPU brand you go for. It removes all stuttering and lines going across the screen when playing games with this mode on. The monitor is very bright, and the colours look great.

My only complaint would be that the stand takes up quite a bit of desk space, so I bought some desk mounted arms to reduce this as I like a lot of space on my desk.

I was looking for the best value for money vertical monitor for my 4K setup, and I’ve found it.

It’s not as big as the 4K 40″ one it replaced, but it’s indeed a more convenient size.

Picture Quality is perfect, can’t ask for more for a secondary monitor.

If you want this as a main monitor, I suggest you go for traditional 16:9, and specifically 4K 40″ as there’s no better ratio for posture & productivity.

I was looking for a monitor to replace my 5 year old acer 24 inch monitor & reviewed few different options for a while. This monitor had mixed reviews and was bit reluctant but made a good choice. This is a great balance of quality, price and functional monitor. I have not used 4K or bigger monitors before but this one is perfect for working from home and when multitasking. The delivery was prompt as usual Amazon efficiency and the setup was easy straightforward. I am using with MacBook Pro 16 2020, and bought Display Port to USB-C cable from Amazon to connect. Overall happy with this monitor for regular use.

It is very nice. My only thing is that for working, it is almost too big and having some curvature would have been helpful as it strains my eyes looking at text on the sides of the screen.

Great monitor, image quality is top quality. I like the ability to have an excel spreadsheet open on one half of the screen, and still have room to have another document open and visible at the same time in the other half. It has both HDMI and Display Port inputs, which gives you good flexibility.
One possible downside, the on/off button is on the back of the monitor in the bottom right hand side (as you are facing the front). If you had the right hand side of the monitor up against a wall for example, you may find it difficult to reach around the side and use the button, so you will need to think about where you place this monitor, as there is no other way to turn it on/off. I guess you can reach from underneath, but it’s a bit fiddly.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI don’t play graphics intensive games, so I can’t comment on that. I bought this instead of buying two monitors for my ‘usual’ set-up, and I am very happy with my purchase! My PC is quite old, and I had to buy a new graphics card to support this, but it was long overdue (MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 710 45) anyway.

That said, I played Half-Life 2 for the firts time in years, and it looks brilliant to me, but that’s probably my age.

really excellent value I would say

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a really good monitor for the price. It looks great and is a good size.
It is quite heavy so bear that in mind when selecting monitor arms, but is a great buy.

I also like the feature of having the ability to “split-screen” over two different inputs. Makes doing projects with something like a raspberry pi much easier.

    10/10 would recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally good value for money monitor. It’s ultrawide QHD makes it nice too look at. 75HZ is also a good step up in terms of gaming pace, and my GPU can match this framerate easily so is really smooth.

Note – has no built in speaker (not clearly stated in add) – and is misleading because of the audio port on the monitor where you can plug in headphones.

colour wise is not as good as an IPS panel, and coming from IPS panel, I initially found this monitor colours a bit washed out – however in time the eyes get used to it, and it’s okay.

Given this is a popular monitor, I recommend searching online for a colour profile (found some on reddit, that had the colour profile file, and raw monitor values for brightness, contrast etc) – once I used that (obviously won’t be 100% due to manufacturing differences) the monitor came alive so to say.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe screen quality is excellent! It took a minute to set up as this monitor, as it doesn’t seem to auto-detect how it’s connected to the source, it defaults to DisplayPort so it wasn’t quite plug and play. I had to change it’s input to HDMI. The interface was a bit fiddly with a mini joystick type button behind the bottom right corner of the screen, however once I did that, then it worked perfectly! What a display wow

Picture quality is good. However mine had a dead pixel that was pretty obvious with darker images. It also only refreshes at 50Hz so is barely even usable for gaming.

Edit: I was using a hub that didn’t have the bandwidth to support this resolution at higher than 50Hz; it was not the fault of the monito

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWith things like these you might think you’ll have buyers remorse or it’s an unnecessary extravagance, but actually it’s a major game changer. So superior to double screens that we’ve been used to for years. It’s one of the best things I bought this year. So much screen space that it looks like something from Star Trek in terms of User interface.
Initially you have to calibrate the colours but it takes 15 mins and you are ready to go.
Unlike some comments the screen does swivel on the base (read the manual).
The control buttons on the back are like other Samsung tech – I had no problems with that. Cheap price – high quality – great purchase.
