My goto storage card for SBC use (Raspberry Pi, Odroid, etc).
Never had an sd card failure with Sandisk Utra in over 10 years of using them across 100’s of SBC projects.
You can play games strasight from the card too so there is no worry like modern consoles where some games have to be stored on the intrernal stroage. Once formatted this is literally plug in and the switch card is read straiught away. The card gives you around 230GB, left so that’s plenty for Swtich games as they can vary from a few MB to 20 GB so even then you have plenty of space for loads of games.
This is a massvie monetary saving over the Nintendo licenced cards, but they don’t offer anything better the cards offer the same storage and are both able to plays games straight from the cards, both in hand held mode and TV mode.
overall a great purchase with little to no down side (especially for the switch) and that at a very very reasonable price and a must have for anyone with the switch.
Previously been screwed by people hacking lower capacity cards to reflect greater storage. THIS IS NOT THAT!! Checked it thoroughly and it is what it says it is. GREAT VALUE
This SanDisk Ultra 32 GB microSD works well and I have had no issues with it. Seems to be the genuine one at a good price, quick delivery via Amazon, all working well.
It’s not super important but I couldn’t get speeds above around 45mbps, could have been the adapter I used, so take with a pinch of sal
I am of the belief that it isn’t backed up in at least 3 places it isn’t backed up. Good for a drone or an RPi or camera, phone or whatever. I really am brand loyal to San Disk.
It seems this is an original Sandisk product. I have bought ones in the past that have turned out to be fakes.
I’ve got at least 12 of these in various devices and they just keep on working when others go wrong after a year or so
