l needed to upload my holiday photos from my laptop , I was surprised how quick they uploaded , I could hear the mission impossible music in the background as the evil villain was coming up the stairs , but I got away ;).
I thought I had bought the wrong thing as it was tiny but it was perfect .
This is a great piece of kit, its transfer speed is good and is large enough to hold a lot of data. The physical size is small enough to not cause a problem.
I wouldn’t use any other brand of usb stick. I have several of these to boost my storage capacity and I use them to watch digital movies that I have ripped to my PC on my TV. Tried this with other brands and my TV doesn’t recognise them or the files get corrupted. Never had an issue with the Scandisk ones. Defo recommend.
Excellent product. Excellent design. Really small nice size.Solid build. Fast.
As these don’t have a cap end at usb end, wouldn’t have minded them coming with a little case or sleeve to use if required. Not too keen on putting in my pocket with other items as it is.
Good little memory stick, but I thought the black plastic bit would flip over to act as a cap. It doesn’t, it is fixed and acts as the handle to hold when putting in and out of laptop.
The max speed I managed to get was 25MB/s when copying a file from my HDD to the stick, I have USB 3.1 on the front IO.
Tested it in the back and it was better, I also want to mention that the USB stick has fluctuations in speeds.
I brought a few of these to back up and store some stuff. So instead of buying an external hard drive I decided to have a box of these.
I haven’t used it yet but the first impression is: this is probably the smallest usb I own. And it doesn’t have any protector on the slot part. That’s new to me.
I will update if any issue with compatibility, using etc.
The metal body although small and 128GB still feels a bit more durable than fully plastic Sandisk with 256GB.
This is Great little Flash Drive. I needed up to 64Gb and this is perfect. Whilst I don’t have the tools or the skills to measure the read/write speeds I found this was fast enough for my needs. It got a little hot in use but I understand that’s not unusual. It is compact and has a plastic loop which will allow connection to a keyring or similar. Seems good value to me.
SanDisk are THE brand for USB flash drives, and this does the job. It’s been used a fair bit already, and is perfectly happy with NTFS and FAT, used as a bootable USB, transfered on USB 2.0 and 3.0, and even loaded Tails.
What am I meant to say? It’s a storage drive. It stores stuff. It does get a little bit warm, so I wouldn’t advise leaving it plugged in longer than necessary, but I did use it to flash BIOS, do a clean Windows 11 install, and set up system applications afterwards. If you know what you’re doing, you can fit Windows 10/11 boot media, a Linux OS, drivers, CPU/GPU/suite applications, and even have space left over.
It’d be great if SanDisk did a desktop USB holder/tidy in this style, like a pen-holders, that you could slot these into. It might stop people like me defacing such lovely brushed-metal USBs with a Sharpie!

The sleek, metallic blue design is modern and attractive. It stands out compared to more basic plastic models.

The compact form factor makes it easy to carry around in your pocket or on a keychain.
Considering its performance and build quality, the SanDisk Ultra Flair offers good value for money. It’s a cost-effective option for those who need a dependable and fast USB drive.
Pros:
– High read speed up to 150MB/s
– Sleek and durable metal design
– Compact and portable
– Good value for the price
Cons:
Metal casing can get warm during prolonged use
The SanDisk Ultra Flair 64 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive is a reliable and stylish choice for anyone needing fast and secure portable storage. Its high read speed and robust design make it suitable for a variety of uses, from professional data transfers to casual file storage. Despite a slightly slower write speed, it remains a competitive option in its price range.
This thing is currently in my laptop as my music production drive, and has been used almost every day for 3 years. I’ve always been blown away by the great minimal design, the stainless steel exterior, and the impressively tiny footprint (smaller and thinner than average flash drives). Read and write speeds have never been a problem for me, have saved and reopened hundreds of large project files and it never felt slow. I’ve also still not filled up the storage yet, though it will need some clearing soon. Still, I’ve brought this around the country, played tracks from it live, thrown it in bags, kept it in pockets, had it in use for hours at a time, and haven’t had a single problem. I might buy a second one to use as a backup drive…
Not as large as capacity as a SSD but a lot less bulky. Got it on a deal so even cheaper than usual. Feels better value for money when compared to SSD prices. Does what I need it to do. Comes with a years data recovery
I’ve dabbled with other USB drives, even some “big name” brands, but let me tell you – SanDisk’s Ultra Flair is a whole different level. Here’s why it’s become my go-to:
Blazing Fast Speeds: Forget the waiting game. This drive boasts 150MB/s read speeds, meaning files transfer in a flash. No more agonizing minutes spent waiting for data to move.
Built to Last: This isn’t your flimsy plastic thumb drive. The sleek metal casing oozes durability and can handle everyday bumps and dings. Plus, it looks pretty darn sharp!
Ample Storage: With 128GB of space, you’ve got plenty of room for all my movies, music, photos, or whatever digital goodies I need to backup.
SandDisk Delivers: Having tried other brands that fell short on speed or durability, I can confidently say SanDisk delivers. This drive is a perfect blend of performance, style, and practicality. Highly recommend!
I ordered one of these for work and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Right out of the box, I was struck by its elegant design, featuring a brushed metal finish that adds a touch of sophistication to any setup.
But beyond its stylish appearance, this USB drive truly shines in terms of performance. With read speeds of up to 150MB/s, transferring large files is fast and effortless. Whether I’m backing up important documents or transferring multimedia files, the Ultra Flair handles it all with ease, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience every time.
The build quality of the Ultra Flair is outstanding. The durable metal casing not only looks great but also provides added protection for my data, giving me confidence that my files are safe and secure. And with a spacious 256GB of storage, I have plenty of room to store all my important files without worrying about running out of space.
Considering the performance and reliability it offers, the price of the Ultra Flair is more than reasonable. It’s a worthwhile investment for anyone in need of reliable storage on the go.
As a long-time user of SanDisk products, I appreciate the brand’s commitment to quality and reliability. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with a counterfeit USB drive in the past, but I’m pleased to confirm that this SanDisk Ultra Flair is the real deal. The packaging and print are consistent with genuine SanDisk products, providing assurance of its authenticity.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a USB drive that combines style, performance, and reliability, look no further than the SanDisk Ultra Flair. It’s a versatile and dependable solution for all your storage needs.
I’m using this for reasonably long term archiving rather than day-to-day backup or file transfer purposes. so it fits the bill for what I need. I can use several on a monthly cycle if I do decide to add an additional backup regime.
I bought this as additional external storage for a Chromebook. It always amazes me how these Flash Drives get smaller and smaller while capacity increases. The photo shows an old 32gb drive next to the SanDisk 64Gb one. There is often a protective cap for the USB end but this doesn’t have one so it’s possible dust and muck might ingress over time and effect performance. However for the time being it is working fine and highly recommended at the price.
The device is very small – easily lost! The software to use the encryption is downloadable but the links are all dead from the exectable file on the drive. You have to manually navigate the linked executable files linked website and find the right software to download – which is a bit of a faff – and not for for the un-technical. The software iteself is a bit ‘drag and drop’ and therefore not the best I’ve used but it is basically effective at 128 bit encryption (not 256 which is what I usually use) and it works.
I recently purchased the SanDisk 128GB Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and design. This flash drive is an absolute game-changer for anyone who needs to transfer large files quickly and securely.
One of the standout features of this flash drive is its impressive storage capacity. With a whopping 128GB, I can now carry all my important documents, photos, and videos with me wherever I go. Gone are the days of worrying about running out of space or having to delete files to make room for new ones.
The USB 3.0 technology is another major advantage of this flash drive. It offers lightning-fast transfer speeds, allowing me to move files at up to 150MB/s. This means that even transferring large video files takes just seconds, saving me valuable time and making my workflow much more efficient.
The sleek and durable metal casing of the Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive adds a touch of elegance to its functionality. The design not only looks premium but also feels solid in hand. I appreciate that SanDisk has taken durability seriously by incorporating a tough build that can withstand everyday wear and tear.
However, one potential drawback worth mentioning is that the metal casing tends to get slightly warm during extended use. While it doesn’t affect performance or cause any discomfort, it’s something worth noting for those who plan on using the flash drive for prolonged periods.
In terms of personal experience, I have found the Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive to be incredibly reliable. It has never failed me when it comes to transferring files securely, and I have complete peace of mind knowing that my data is protected with SanDisk’s SecureAccess software.
Overall, the SanDisk 128GB Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive is an exceptional product that offers ample storage capacity, lightning-fast transfer speeds, and a sleek design. Despite the minor warmth issue, I highly recommend this flash drive to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient storage solution.
I recently purchased the SanDisk Ultra Flair 32 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, and initially, I was thoroughly impressed with its sleek design and rapid data transfer capabilities. The USB 3.0 technology made file transfers quick and efficient, saving me valuable time during my work.
The durable metal casing added a layer of reliability, and its compact size made it convenient to carry wherever I needed my files. Unfortunately, after a few months of usage, the flash drive unexpectedly stopped working. While it’s disheartening when electronic products encounter issues, I understand that such occurrences are not uncommon. It’s essential to note that I’ve been a loyal user of SanDisk products for over a decade, and this incident doesn’t undermine the overall quality and trustworthiness of the brand. I’ve had positive experiences with their products, and I believe this may be an isolated incident.
Despite the unforeseen hiccup, I appreciate the efficiency and speed the SanDisk Ultra Flair offered during its functional period. I’ve reached out to SanDisk’s customer support to address the issue, and I am hopeful for a resolution. As with any electronic device, occasional malfunctions can happen, and it’s the brand’s customer service and response that truly define the overall experience. I remain optimistic about the SanDisk Ultra Flair’s performance, considering my longstanding positive history with the brand and its commitment to customer satisfaction.
Recommended to Everyone.
Bought to down load home video. Only negative is that the USB stick came write protected. I was able to unlock it but this was not made clear when purchasing.
Purchased this for a Blink Sync module 2 and it works perfect, possibly didn’t need one with as much storage. I’ll purchase a smaller memory version and give this to my daughter for college
Bought two of these 256GB versions, general speed is good. The metal casing gets hot to the touch. Had one of them not showing up the data that was stored on the flash drive. Which meant had to reformat the flash drive, and download all data files again. But since reformatting had no further issue with the particular flash drive. Just shows you can buy one of the best brands, and the product can still cause an issue.
I had purchased the 128g a few years ago and it’s worked swimmingly. Unfortunately lost it and recently replaced with 512g. No compliant with this product. A Sandisc special this.
Be careful who you buy this from. I went with the SanDisk storefront here on Amazon. Some are selling fakes at the moment apparently. This is a very good drive. The only issue is with the heat that it can generate. It can get pretty warm. Other than that, it is good value.
