Quick delivery and really easy set up – just plug and play. Easy to operate once connected to the Xbox. Made gaming a better experience for an impatient 15 year old.
I cannot give a review for this item as yet as I am returning it for a replacement, drive arrived in a un padded envelope and posted through a letterbox three foot high onto a concrete tiled floor, I’m just not sure if the drive is damaged or will last, not prepaired to keep it, Amazon customer services have been very good and offered a quick replacement and free return delivery. I am not blaming the driver totally because the packaging could have had more protection, these drives are normally excellent last one lasted 6 years of daily pas4 then Ps5 use.
Perfect addition for my sons XBOX, plugs straight in and work immediately, plenty of storage so he doesn’t need to down load games all the time just switch them between storage devices.
Can only install older Gen games to run off of the unit. Not current X/S gen. This was not clear in the blurb. But I should of done my homework.
If you save a PS5 title or version of a game onto the device you must transfer it from the storage to the console. They do not play from the device storage when plugged in. (PS4 and lower version will)
So if you intend to play PS5 versions make sure your console storage isn’t eaten up by 2 or 3 games
It a bit of a judging act and requires moving from console to this device.
Like the green light and so easy to set up and use and always transferring from main storage to hard drive,I’ve heard that you need to keep series s/x games on console to play but shouldn’t be a problem as its easy enough to transfer back and forth
It looks good, pretty compact, easily portable and came with a Xbox game pass Ultimate redeemable coupon. Would be 5 stars if not for it missing 200 gb. I could fit gta in that missing storage, but I guess I’ll have to deal without. 4/5 stars would buy again if it specified it was 1.8 tb and not 2 tb.
Product works perfectly and has a neat Logo to match the PS5. I Already had one and had to get another as my old one is full. Turns out you can only use one at a time which is very annoying. The PS5 Nearly formatted my old drive with all my games on it. I’ve noticed after swapping them around the content menu is also updating showing games I haven’t played in ages. Not sure what to think here as there are 2 USB ports on the PS5 why you can’t use both at the same time is just silly.
Bought this to add storage for my ps4 as the compartment door is jammed shut on mine
Packaged well and so far has so much space for many games that it will be useful for a while.
I couldn’t recommend this more you literally just plug it in and go it’s ready in seconds, I brought 4TB and have about 8 different games downloaded into it with still 3TB left! I’m left with so much storage space I no longer have to worry about downloading anything I’m extremely happy

You have to re-install the games from the external hard drive, back on to the PS5, which isn’t the end of the world, its just not very convenient. I haven’t done it in a while but on the main menu/homepage, press start button on selected title and select “copy” to send it to external storage device. Would recommend, paid around 90 I think.

It looks so much better in person than it does in the pictures, as well the little glow from the led looks amazing. Easy to install and use. No more game storage problems.
Had mine for almost a year now and it does as advertised. Really love the green light bar on it as well. Got mine during the black Friday sale. No regrets spending 60 for 4TB.
The harddrive works great but the game pass that came with it doesn’t work
Very easy to use, you just plug in assign for use as either game or media expansion and start transfering games.
Looks great with the Xbox branding and classic green light strip. Blends right in with the console because it’s a nice square shape and matte black.
For people wondering about real time speed of transfers, transfering Fallout 4 + DLC (about 60GB) took about 7 minutes.
If your looking for a drive to store Xbox original/360/One games then this drive is perfect for you. If the average game was 40GB (for 360 and one games it’s normally less) you could store up to 100 different games on this drive.
TL/DR: Downloads games quick at around 1GB speed and can store over 100 games.
Excellent piece of kit, a must have for all the gamers out there.

Sunday just past there was a power cut in all the north west of Scotland
It concerned me to find that after the normal thing that happens when there’s a power cut, the it said the storage unit was damaged then it wasn’t so alarming when it said it’s repairing it self that took a while and I thought what’s it repairing?? Hopefully this storage unit is tested well enough to withstand power cuts, as we get them at lest once a year, being a part of the so called family of nations but some how spending the to give us decent power structure, roads I near started a rant on the state of the parts of the family of nations aka uk treats those area not filled with their type, easy research
Anyhoo back to the item just be wary that power cuts damage it but it repairs itself but must have an effect???

Just purchased they drive and first impressions are amazing and faster then I thought. But the only negative is the code that came in the box for the game pass says it’s damaged which is a disappointment.
Use this as a backup storage device on my PC and has served me well. Stored a lot to it but made sure I left enough space for the drive to function. Cannot comment on it as an actual game drive as I use 2.5 SSD’s. Has a Snazzy green light on front. Very happy with it.
I bought this during a black Friday sale and I’ve never looked back. Its currently plugged into my Xbox One X console. (All those 4k textures and other upgrades won’t all fit on the small internal memory. Soon it’ll need help).
And I’ve never filled it up. Even with Gamepass, and the huge games in there. Some of which reach up to just over 100gb!
I have xbox series X which only has standard 1Tb and 1Tb expansion drive. I found with this 4Tb drive you could free up space on internal drive and put your older games on it.

The only downfall I have with this project is sometimes I’ll turn on my Xbox s and it doesn’t registrar the hard drive so I need to unplug the USB and plag it back in again. Then it works fine. All old game run off with high speed and you can transfer the hxs games backwards and forwards in a matter of minutesas long as you already downloaded them on to it, so it is great for that. It’s just the plugin back in sometime witch is bit a pain some times and that’s why it doesn’t get a five star rating from me.
