Investigated a lot before purchasing, including comparing price against selkbag own webpage, I am 5-10, 14 1/2 stone, 36 inch waist, ordered xl – right size in body with slightly long legs (with boots but unlikely to use as cannot see them being for outdoor use) and sleeves good length, you want this for warmth not clinging so was right size for me. Great in body without being to low in crotch, research size before ordered, really great and ready for spring/autumn evenings when outdoors

2) when you buy the right size to fit your height, sleeping in bed with the booties is very uncomfortable because when you bend your knees, the fabric pulls up on your booties and feels like you’re in a straight jacket from your hips to your feet. I would like to do a DIY alteration to have abundant stretchy fabric in the zipper area that connects the ankles to the foot booties, so when we sleep at night we can be comfortable in any position and the foot booties won’t be pulled on so uncomfortably. Otherwise the booties are completely useless and I just wear knee-high smart wool socks and pull them up over the outside of the ankles of the selk bag, to stay warm, to keep cold breezes out.
3) the hip-to-neck zipper constantly snags & gets stuck in the fabric.

This is what I plan to wear to save on heating. It is comfortable and fits quite well without impeding movement. What’s more, it puts you in a happy mood.
Super, angenehm warm fr die ungeheizte Wohnung. Grsse L passt mir mit 1,72m 75kg genau, sowohl im Liegen, Sitzen und damit Herumspazieren. Fr grssere Menschen wird er aber zu klein sein mit den Flingen an. Ob er minusgrade aushlt kann ich leider nicht sagen. Den einen Stern Abzug gebe ich, weil die Grssenangabe nicht ganz passt, ich habe aber Glck gehabt. Wrde ihn wieder kaufen.
It is exactly what we needed. During the cold nights we can be warm in this sleeping bag.
A simple, yet warm sleeping bag. We bought the item in Large. It says in the cover that it fits people up to 180 cm, I am 178 cm and I think I could not spend a night in it – too short for me. My daughter is 170 cm and the size L is perfect for her!
Product is great – fits really well. Just ready for the winter.
Downside – Delivery driver left the parcel in a strange place so didn’t know it was there for 3 days.

This is perfect for keeping warm in the Winter and/or camping. It’s easy to put on and packs up to the size of a sleeping bag.
This violet pink colour is fun too. Can’t wait to wear it in the Winter.

I already did visit outdoors from 7 to 9 PM wearing mine and was quite comfortable, altho my nose did get very cold! I plan to travel to the Arctic Circle in January and bought mine for the trip. It is VERY cozy!
I have a bit of a longer torso than most people. I am not overweight but ordered the XL to have some more room since I am 5′-11″. When I sit the crotch rides up and is a bit uncomfortable. A crotch gusset on this bag would be stellar! Otherwise this is very warm and comfortable for wearing around the house.
Great for everything from lounging around camp to sleeping in! I’m 6’3″ and the booties don’t work with it because the legs are about 4 inches to short but I never needed them anyway.
This human-shaped cocoon is WARM. Maybe too warm because there are some times where the heat is trapped so well, I’m practically radiating heat when I take it off.
Not a deal breaker in the least.
I keep the feet on for the most part but it’s nice to have the option to take them off, slap on some sneakers and go get the mail.
It’s like wearing a giant hug at times with just how puffy this thing is. From the legs all the way up to the hood which is one of the best parts, it’s incredibly warm and thick. And I also like the ends of the sleeves how they just fold over when you don’t need to use your hands.
Honestly, it’s easily the most ridiculous thing I’ve worn, but for days off during COVID this winter, this is perfect at-home attire.
My biggest complaint with the old version was durability. The outer material tore really easily, and it didn’t last that long. This new version feels like it’s made of tougher stuff, but we’ll have to see. Prior to trying this out, I did buy a Chinese copy that was a third of the price, and it was really ill-fitting and uncomfortable. Returned it and got this, and despite the price hike, I’m glad I did.
Realmente funciona como un saco de dormir, pero dejndote total libertad de movimientos. Si te quieres girar durante la noche, te giras, y no pasa nada (en un saco de dormir tradicional realizar movimientos es un martirio).
Si te quieres levantar o necesitas caminar, no tienes que salirte y pasar fro.
Las distintas aberturas, as como la posibilidad de quitar los pies, son un acierto. El sistema para tapar y liberar las manos con gomas est muy bien pensado. La maravillosa opcin de poder salir a orinar sin tener que salirte del saco es una gozada, abriendo la cremallera lateral y girando un poco se orina con comodidad (si eres hombre… aunque para mujeres ya hay algn invento que permite orinar de pie y que podra servir para esto tambin).
No lo he probado en temperaturas muy bajas, pero a unos 16C se duerme confortable con las cremalleras de ventilacin abiertas y sin usar la capucha, as que queda margen, aunque no creo que sea efectivo en climas glidos (el hecho de separar las extremidades del tronco tambin hace que el cuerpo conserve menos el calor).
Por qu no le doy las 5 estrellas? Pues porque tiene margen de mejora:
Si bajasen un poco la zona axilar (es decir, hacer ms ancha la zona superior de las mangas) facilitara sacar los brazos de las mangas sin bajar la cremallera, pudiendo meterlos junto al cuerpo. Esto es til si hace mucho fro, o simplemente si te pica la barriga y te quieres rascar.
Deberan estudiar seriamente la opcin de poner una apertura (quizs con velcro) en la parte trasera. Eso facilitara ciertas tareas a las mujeres… y tambin a los hombres si “aprieta” la necesidad de hacer algo ms que orinar.
Un leve inconveniente ante un saco de dormir tradicional: no te puedes cambiar de ropa o vestirte dentro del saco (a esto no le veo solucin… hay que asumirlo, jeje). Lo cierto es que algunos sacos son tan estrechos que tampoco permiten hacerlo.
Otro leve inconveniente es que no puedes usar un pie para calentar el otro si has entrado con los pies fros (como haras en un saco convencional), as que mejor no los dejes enfriar.
OJO CON LAS TALLAS!
Yo mido 1,72, en teora mi talla permite hasta 1,80, pero al tumbarme voy justito de altura, con los pies chocando contra la base… Al tumbarnos extendemos los pies, no los dejamos planos como cuando caminamos, as que medid vuestra altura con los pies extendidos antes de seleccionar talla! A efectos de medida, aqu eres tan alto como podras ser ponindote “de puntillas”.

Very cosy to work in when living in a flat with no heating. Do read carefully the sizing description, I’m short and automatically went for a small, which I had to return to get a medium instead.
