Perfect for my needs, quick and easy to use. I live in a 2b apartment with carpet in the bedrooms and normal flooring elsewhere and it gets everything clean in no time, even the carpets look as new without any trace of dust.
Excellent for long haired animals. I have 3 long haired Persian cats and the roller never gets tangled. Never.
Brilliant for hoovering underneath hard to reach areas because the Shark bends to 45 degrees so you don’t have to bend down.
All packaged with paper and cardboard for recycling.
No polystyrene or plastic.
This hoover is a no brainer if you have pets.
Bit heavier than my Dyson animal but actually picks up crumbs off hard floors instead of moving them around! Not sure the suction is as good in carpet but it still does the job. Very happy

My first purchase of a shark….hoover.. and love it so easy to use on stairs as took body off pole and attached small end. Makes doing the stairs a breeze.. bout when on offer glad I did as up to 200 now. And to top it off its my favourite colour.. purple haha.

I purchased this vacuum for my daughter, she’s absolutely delighted with it, I had already bought one for myself and knew she’d love it and she does. It’s completely effortless, the attachments are ideal for awkward places to hoover, would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about buying one.
Light weight used to keep upstairs under the bed because it folds flat. Very manoeuvrable and generally works well. Occasionally have to use hand held option to get up all the bits which is why not full five stars
I do like the fold ability of this item and I do think it has the edge on the Dyson for the anti hair item yes – it is a bit heavy when folded and its not powerful I like the light – definitely
I would say that for the purpose I required it is just fine enough – its so I don’t have to take one from downstairs to the upstairs so this is folded and in a corner its neat – we have not pets of children so its so clean this is like a carpet sweeper electronic style – does the job
The Dyson is attached to a wall in a discreet area and this is a little more powerful I find and very very robus
Tools provided, just ok, bag a bit silly. Rather have had a storage hook. A full charge from empty: 3 hours.
In spite of all my apparent criticism, when you use it within the parameters I have outlined, it is worth every one of five stars. For light use: excellent, for 170 great value.
I’ve had it just over a month now and like it even more.
I ordered this OBO my Mum. I was worried it might be a bit heavy as she is 80 and only 5 feet tall but she manages fine. She loves it. Plenty of power and useful attachments.
I like the anti hair wrap feature. Good storage as it folds in the middle. But I have found it heavy to use. Something to be aware of if you suffer back pain.
This is my second one. Some wires had broken down in the neck of my previous one. We chose the same model as we would then have duplicate tools and parts. It’s really easy to do the stairs. We have dogs so the dog attachment is really effective on the stairs and in the car.
Never owned a Shark product before.

This has been my life saver!
My only gripe is that it can not stand alone. You have to have it bent over. Which is a bit tricky to do with a baby in your arms.
I think the attachments could have been made better, but they do the job.

All the attachments are good quality…you get like a mini head which is great for the stairs and hard to reach places.
Cool anti hair wrap means you don’t have to spend hours pulling the cat hair out of it.

Absolutely love it. So easy to use and the attachments make life easier when using. Really useful when needing to get underneath the settee and tables. And on the monthly repayment plan made it even more affordable despite it being on offer too.
I was surprised how small it is, especially when folded down

I love how you can take off the stick so you can use it on sofas and smaller items
Also like how you can then charge it wherever you want
The feature where it bends to vacuum under sofas etc is very cool
It’s also very nimble, that’s probably one of the best things, so going round corners etc is easy as the head can sort of swivel side to side
Obviously great to be cordless
The onnnly thing I’d mention is that it would feel slightly weighty if you were doing a whole house, but you can’t really expect less when the whole machine is in hand and it’s really not bad
Previously I may have felt it silly to pay so much for a vacuum esp when I had an old fashioned one already, but I’m now a big believer in buying good appliances to make housework easier so you can enjoy your weekends and live in a clean home that makes you calm and happy
On first use, it looks like the right decision, and a few people we know have said they also have and are happy with Shark.
The thing that struck me most was there was no plastic packaging. (See photo) Everything was card or paper. Extremely good example. Other electrical items we have bought recently have come with loads of plastic wrapping and polystyrene. All manufacturers should look and learn.

Just taken delivery of my Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum. I ordered ‘Peacock Blue’ thinking that it would be a peacock blue colour – no – it’s purple ! Very misleading on description !

Folds away for easy storage, easy to empty and does the job perfectly
The vacuum is light,powerful and very good. It folds up ok and takes less room than an ordinary one.
Picks up even the smallest of dust and not to loud.
Negatives,
I think better attachments would be beneficial. The ones you get aren’t very good.
Carpets look
Amazing. Picks up easily on hard flooring as well. Very easy to use. Love that it fold up, easy to store, just mind fingers first few times you fold it up, until you remember to keep fingers out of way easy to empty and clean. Would recommend as a good buy
I was sceptical buying this as I have gone through a lot of cleanser. I am hopeful this will work as it’s suction is high and easy to use:
Had this for over 3 months now. Easy to use and cleans carpets very well. Charge lasts a good time and charges reasonably quickly. Quite heavy for use as a ‘wand’ cleaner.
Shark beats all the other brand hoovers by miles. Can honestly say this is a dream to use. The fact is cordless means there’s no cable limiting your movement range. You can store it near enough anywhere too, as it folds in half to prevent taking up loads of room.
The suction is amazing. I shed like a dog my hair gets everywhere. This does not struggle to pick it all up. And the anti hair wrap saves me the horrible job of untangling the hoover roll

It comes complete with a handy bag to keep the tools in, which is a nice touch and saves you hunting around for mislaid heads. The charge lasts very well. This Ninja does such a good job that when I want to have a deeper clean the collection bucket on mama Shark barely has anything in which proves that little Ninja is doing a great job. I have 2 cats & my Goldy so animal fur & my long hair strands get “about” but I dont have to worry about anything as the Anti hair Wrap works a dream. Thank You Shark your products make my life a cleaner place to be.!
One little extra I would like for my OCD is the option to add the correct size brush to clean out the tricky bits of static dust inside the bucket & head as I like to clean inside my machines after every use.
The lock system for attaching and detaching accessories is really straightforward, and the “extra power” trigger is also really useful. A massive bonus is also that the battery is detachable and can be charged as such, so there is no need to mount any fixtures on your walls.
This review looses one star, because it doesn’t come with any useful “dusting” attachments like other hoovers, which is really annoying. You should be able to buy them separately, but you won’t be able to to, because they’re never in stock on the Shark website (or indeed anywhere else!).
Would highly recommend, as long as you don’t want to buy any useful extras for it!
Even though this vax is heavier than other market leaders, which is not good for my arthritis, I love it.
It compares well with the main market leaders in every way, except the weight. I love the way it stands on its own when unfolded as well as the way it folds reducing the amount of space it needs.
The Shark gets into corners better removing all dust and dirt and lights up the floor so you can actually see it picking up the bits much clearer and reduces the need to go over the same surface over and over again . The storage compartment removed easily and quickly and is easy to clean and, unlike the others, does not collect dirt in the closure plates as some of the others do. It is generally a much cleaner process to empty it.
Being able to move directly from one surface to another at a touch of a button and boost the suction where necessary is a very smooth and quick process.
It has a number of add-ons, including a very useful pet attachment, a suction surface attachment which is great for work surfaces and a stair brush, as well as the proverbial corner attachment.
To top it off there’s the two batteries. There is nothing more frustrating than getting part way through the cleaning to find the vac has run out. Not with the two battery Shark. Two batteries and a double charger ensure no interruptions and a continuous clean.
The only negative for me is that there is no separate extension attachment for overhead cleaning but I still have my old one for that and the other benefits certainly make up for it.
