Excellent sound quality more than compensates for the fiddly controls and awkward setting up.

This is a great looking piece of kit. Good user interface and easy to set up, if a little slow. The sound is clear, but the bass is a little heavy.
We use it in the bedroom and it works perfectly well. But, the sound is on 3 any higher and it would be too loud.
Connecting iPhone is easy, as is connecting to Bluetooth.
Bought this radio due to our location, DAB & FM reception is bad, so opted for this due to wi fi connection for internet radio, all stations are very clear with hardly any buffering, Bluetooth is excellent and speakers are very crisp, very happy with this sharp radio, cannot fault i
I want to buy a clock with a radio, but most reviews in other products said that the sound quality are either bad or decent. Also, the display is too bright. I end up buying a radio with clock. It has much better sound quality. The led display is smaller (hence, less bright) but still readable at night. The wooden material also blends perfectly with the furniture.
Equaliser could be better, but only used in kitchen so fine for that. Could benefit from a USB slot and a stubby ariel instead of the telescopic one.
Lots of great music 1000’s of stations worldwide. Love all the special stations to hear your favourite songs, like 70’s music, olden oldies, Motown, radio stations that are local to you. If you have Spotify, you can hear your own playlist. Great purchase. I use an WiFi adapter, and WiFi headset ( both from Amazon) to listen to music everywhere in the house. Love my Radio.
Ultimate sound quality sometimes you feel like your your in your own club listening. I listen to the radio all day whilst working and stop still as a track plays so well. Top top top sound. Great control options too.
I tried other ones but Sharp DR-I470(GR) PRO looks smart, sound very good and easy to set up as long as you have a good Wi-Fi signal. It is mains operated but could have been useful with battery for outside. All these internet radios could do with an Ethernet connection. As it was on offer when I bought it (80), it is excellent value for money.
This radio does most of what I want. Sound quality is fine and Bluetooth works well. One minor gripe is that when turned to standby the display always goes into power save mode and dims to a very low level making it impossible to read the time in all but the darkest conditions.
Only 4 stars as it hasn’t got a CD player-but that’s my own stupid fault.
Tbh this is great, the size is nice, great build quality. Navigating the menus is a tad clumsy but really not difficult once you figure it out, really could of made better use of the nice volume dial on the top but never mind. One thing I would like to see on this is some equalisation options, I find the sound a tad base heavy, though I have to say the sound quality is very good, maybe just designed for a kitchen bigger than mine.
