This was bought as a gift perfect condition only thing as it was a gift just wish it came in original packaging.
It came very quickly but the controller was faulty, I sent the seller a message and didn’t hear from them until a package arrived with a replacement controller free of charge! Very pleased, and the PlayStation is in immaculate condition, overall exceedingly happy
The PS4 is surely marked to be the best console Sony has ever made; although as of yet most of us have no chance of being able to get our hands on the PS5 (ah well give it another year or so and cross our fingers). PS$’s library of games I truly impressive and Sony’s exclusives are the best in Gaming entertainment. All of this and the fact that you can play FFXIV (the world’s no.1 MMO) on it and well, its a no brainer really. Oh and did any one tell you about the Dualshock 4 controller? For the players (and NO that doesn’t NOT refer to what criminals and unstable people would infer from that; it means people who play video games).
We ordered this after my sons PlayStation broke suddenly. We were expecting it on the Wednesday but it actually arrived the Saturday before. It looks brand new and my son is so happy.
Have a PS3 and thought long and hard about purchasing a PS4 and finally did and got to say speed and quality of the system far outweighs it’s older brother, the games with higher definition are fantastic, very pleased, GTA5 on PS4 so much harder but better compared to PS3 online
This PS4 is awesome, given how easy it is to set up and use is brilliant. Game graphics are so much better and smooth running. It’s good for people new to the PS4 as well as gamers familiar with it.
After we were sent a faulty one, Amazon immediately resent a replacement which has worked complete fine since we bought it. Good quality, and happy with the service received. However, there are no official controllers on amazon to purchase (something to bear in mind).
I like purchasing products i need to get a camera set up soon and try get my play station 3 set up back on safely after a while back to the set up for it original sort of so just need a sort of update on ps3 n technology screens to 4k it out and add 3d effect manual
Is it normal procedure to remove warranty stickers off the back of the consoles you sell?because doing this prevents you selling your console in the future, because by removing these warranty stickers, makes your console look suspicious or stolen, not good practice
The PlayStation was easy to setup and is simple to use. I think it would have been better if it showed you how to make multiple accounts in the instructions.
This was a Christmas present for my husband and very well received. It was more than the market price but I search and search and this was the best price I could find in December. It was also promptly dispatched and arrived earlier than expected. The PS4 is a fantastic console and I have beaten my husband Tony Hawks record (hahaha I love telling everyone that).

I was disappointed that it took over a month for the package to be dispatched to me as it was out of stock, but once it was ready everything was really good.

I had to buy a new Playstation after the 8.03 update bricked my last one and Sony didn’t release an update fixing it. The package came 2 days after I ordered it (very quick), but in the box was the power cable for a PS4 Pro instead of for a PS4 Slim like I had bought.
As I already had a Slim I could just use that power cable, but if this is someone’s first Playstation Slim they won’t be able to use it if given the wrong cable.
My step son is 11 his wee face lit up when he opened his Christmas present. He was tell me all it can do sorry but it was over my head. I have to mention the delivery before Christmas absolutely fantastic. I only ordered it about a week before Christmas if arrived before the due date excellent service and a fantastic item

Bought this playstation second hand. The Playstation itself came in a perfect condition. However the left analog of the controller was broken and it took a lot of work to fix it.
Am so happy with my purchase from amazon this was to replace my old PS4 slim after sadly packed up after serval year’s it certainly served it’s purpose but now am over the moon with a nice new PS4 slim and amazing price from amazon cheapest brand new price I find so happy purchase again from my favourite retaile
Excellent console, am not expert in tech but it works well and all my games work fine.
I got 3 games with it, Uncharted last of us and zero dawn. Tried uncharted and didn’t care for it, best part of uncharted so far was playing crash bandicoot within the game. Can’t comment on the others.
It was packaged well. It ran the 3 games that i brought with it fine. But it came in a box that had FIFA 19 on the front and sides, and came with a copy of FIFA 19. A free game that i’m going to sell as i didn’t request FIFA 19. But apart from that everything else is good.
Arrived very promptly (to the point of being early) and works fantastically. The USB which came with it couldn’t pair up the controller but that was easily solved with a spare USB I had lying around. The provided USB still works for charging purposes and I’m under the impression this is a very common issue so it’s not that bad. No problems with the PS4 or controller.
Took me a long time to finally get my hands on a PS4, and I’m so glad I finally did! I bought my 2nd hand from one of the private sellers on here, and it was in immaculate condition. No cosmetic imperfections, all cables included, even the controller was in great nick. Could easily have believed it was new!
Runs very quietly. It’s a nice slim design and fits well on the pull-out printer shelf on my desk – it has air vents and channels on the sides, so I don’t even need to worry about pulling the shelf out, as the air gets all around it fine.
The wireless controller has good range, and lasts quite some hours. The headphone jack on the controller is also great, very handy to have that.
So happy to finally be able to play the games that either aren’t on PC, or that my poor little laptop has no chance of running!
At first I was a bit skeptical about ordering a warehouse deal from amazon, but in my case it should be called ‘warehouse steal’, I was expecting an open box customer return, I envisaged the produced to be scratched and to show clear signs of previous usage. In the best case scenario, I thought it would be a damaged box… How wrong was I? The original box still had the seal (unbroken) and had no signs of wear, inside all the relevant contents were inside including manuals, playstation console and controller. I am very happy as it appears that I have received a brand new product for less than 50% of the RRP. If this product is in stock, do not delay and make the purchase, you will not regret it!
Lovely console – had it for 3 weeks now. No issues.
– not too loud
– good size & weight
– simple set up
– works without big delays (only tested with Horizon Zero dawn)
Only thing that is a bit unhandy: no direct audio output. (I play with a PC monitor without speakers and external speakers)
This means I need 1 controller to constantly be plugged in with an audio cable. Works OK if you play alone. Guessing it will be a bit anoying for 2 Player games.
The new design is excellent – it’s about 30% smaller than the original so it’s easy to store and takes up very little space once it’s deployed.
The controller has also had a brush up were the brightness light bar has been moved from the back to the front of the controller, so it’s now visible to the user. You can now connect the new controller to USB as opposed to the old bluetooth one, which will reduce any lag. It also features a minor colour change on the buttons from black to grey.
All of the gubbins from the old system are featured inside this, so they really have just made it smaller and compact, and operates just the same as the 2013 model.
If you are looking for a smaller model of the older one, get this. If you are looking for something that will give you a boost in gaming performance and have a 4k compatible tv, then check out the Playstation 4 pro.

Best decision I could have made, yes the Pro was coming out a month or two later, but I was being driven mad by the original PS4. This thing is dead quiet compared to the release one.
I honestly couldn’t believe my ears, when I booted this thing up. Downside, my room gets colder now :p
The wired controller feature, is almost unnoticeable, but in certain games it is somewhat noticeable.
It’s considerably quieter in most games, compared to the original.
I play a lot of FFXIV, and in most areas where there aren’t other players, the original console goes into super loud mode. The fans would spin and the system would heat the room. This one however, it’s dead quiet, the only time it can be heard is when I really push it. In FFXIV, there’s some certain instances where the game really pushes the system. But it’s still so much better than release.
I have no idea what the Pro is like, whether it’s just as quiet, despite being a lot more powerful. But if you’re just after a quieter PS4, and don’t care for the Overpowered PS4 Pro, go for this.
On the whole I love the console, just one question for sony WHY THE HELL DID YOU REMOVE THE TOS (OPTIC) Connection????????? I have a great 5.1 surround amp and was looking forward to cranking up Doom and enjoying the whole experience. Instead just one HDMI output to my flat panel (fantastic picture, crap speakers). The only way to resolve this was to spend another 60 (inc postage) on a ViewHD Prosumer Ultra HD HDMI True Matrix 4X2 . Glad to say this worked a treat. Just something to be aware of if you are planning on sending the sound via optic to your Amp!
Bought this for my partner and he loves it, amazon went over and beyond to make sure this was delivered in time for his birthday even though they had to get it from another fulfilment centre it was delivered next day a day ahead of schedule great customer service !
The PlayStation four slim , is considerably lighter and smaller that the original PS4, There is NO led light on the PS4 Slim as to the PS4 and a drawback i would say for serious gamers is there is no optical in port, the ps4 slim is all matte close up the ps4 slim is a much more attractive console compared to the original ps4
The Dualshock 4 controller has also had a little tweak, most notably in the front-facing, multi-coloured light bar that appears on the touchpad so no more having to turn your controller to see what colour you are and it is USB compatible so if you liked you could to plug it straight into a PC !
Should You Buy One ?
Well Considering the PS4 Pro is coming out in the very near future that is built with 4k in mind then probably not, the PS4 slim does look really really nice and at 249.99 a real bargain so if your not interested to much in a better picture quality then this is the console for you, The PS4 PRO is suspected to cost 349.99 so nearly a 100 more but with that you get better specs and 1tb of storage standard.
I would have preferred Sony to bring a white slim out along with the black, but that is my personal preference!

I wasn’t interested in any of the game bundles currently on offer for the PS4 slim, so it actually worked out more cost effective for me to buy the base unit on its own and then games separately, however this may be different for you depending on what games your after.
THE PACKAGING
The PS4 is double boxed. The outer box was pretty flimsy and reveals a stronger inner box, on opening this, things tended to start falling out of the box, like the instructions and cables. The PS4 itself is held securely in place.
THE AESTHETICS
I’ve waited a long time for the PS4 slim, I’ve used the older PS4s before and have to say I didn’t personally like the gloss or the sharp corners. For me this new PS4 slim is a thing of beauty. The form factor is a lot smaller than previous versions and the Matt black and soft rounded corners look stunning.
There are a few tweaks on the controller, like the lighting strip now on the top and the thumb sticks now in grey. Cables in the box include: power cable, hdmi cable, USB controller charging cable and ear headphones that plug into the controller. Note that no Ethernet cable is supplied so if you are planning to connect to your router by cable, make sure you have a Ethernet cable or order one at the same time.
From out of the box the PS4 took about 15 mins to set up and get going. On connecting to the internet the PS4 picked up a software update which I believe is the new HDR patch.
Also noted that this runs quieter than the older ps4’s and the on/off and eject are real buttons that can be easily found, unlike some earlier models.
I debated picking up one of the older PS4’s or even waiting for the Pro, but for me this PS4 slim is perfect and I’m very very happy with my choice!
I would describe myself as a casual gamer, so was not after a big hard drive so the entry 500gb should be fine for me, and if I decide at a later date I want a bigger hard drive then this Ps4 slim has a easy accessible port at the back to pull the hard rice out, so no unscrewing the older ps4 versions.
