I’m currently disabled due to a brain haemorrhage & need headphones which I can fit with one hand only- I have “premium” headphones( Sony XM5, Bose Ultra) but I can’t get these over my head with one hand- I’m so pleased with the Sony Ch720n- they fit over my head using one hand & the button controls are easy & effective to use.they’re also extremely comfortable.the Sound quality is exceptional & the noise cancelling is effective for my needs whilst I’m in hospital so that I can listen to podcasts & music in conplete peace- Iam finding it hard tobelieve how good these are for99 – especially as they sound as good as headphones I’ve paid450 for!when you take time to use the equaliser in the Sony app you can get stunning bass & great clarity.Brilliant headphones for less than 100- so good that I’ll be using these when I’m out of hospital too.
I listen in the dark sometimes, Sony headphones have a tiny blue light that flashes in the dark, I could’ve put some tape over it I guess but for the price I want them to be perfect.
They sound fantastic great noise cancellation, higher volume than the sound core ones I tried, Sony is a great choice, they feel well made but my previous cheap Sony ones which by the way have lasted many many years until eventually breaking in my bag, which is annoying, they do not come with a travel case where as the Sound core ones do. I would gravitate towards these again if it weren’t for those slightly annoying flaws
Excellent headphones, super sound quality with lots of options and features to personalise to my liking. Easy to setup. Light & comfortable to wear, impressed so far. controls on headphones are a bit fiddly but I guess I’ll get used to them in time (easy to operate via Amazon music) Excellent value for money.
I’ve had these nearly three months so I’ve given them a good try and I thought things would improve with familiarity. But not for me. They are comfortable to wear. I was critical of the sound at first but they just needed changes to the settings. The problem is the controls on the headphones. They are simply not well enough defined for my elderly fingers. After all this time I can’t feel the volume controls from the pause/skip or even the noise reduction button. I had no such problem on my old Bose headphones. There is no voice confirmation to tell you whether you are changing to or from noise reduction control which I often do by mistake. The only way is to compare the two settings when there is a noise. Maybe I’m being over critical but the controls are a big issue if you don’t want to keep digging out your phone.
Sony have hit a good balance of sound, looks and noise cancelling for the price. Sure the more expensive ones in the range will be better on each point but for value I can’t fault these.
I use my headphones for 5-8 hours per day as I work from home and want some decent noise cancelling capability. My last headphones were a pair of AKGs, which were decent but had some drawbacks, so I wasn’t overly upset when they broke.
I’ve been using these for a few months now so I think I have a decent view of how good they are.
These Sony’s are a big step up on my old pair.
– The NC is really good for indoor use.
– Sound quality is rock solid. For 99% of people who use these to listen to music via the usual moderate bitrate streaming services, these will be as good as any premium brands that cost 3-4x as much.
– The accompanying app gives you a really good level of control over EQ and environmental customisation.
– Battery life is really good (normally I’ll get at least 3 days of heavy use out of these without charging – and charging is really fast).
– I have them connected to both my phone and laptop simultaneously, which is really handy when I flip between devices.
And, possibly most importantly, these are really comfortable. I have a big head and struggle finding headphones that fit properly – normal problems are either too heavy, too tight or too hard on the ears. These are incredibly lightweight, they were comfortable immediately (no need to break them in) and, other than getting hot ears with prolonged use, I’ve not experienced any discomfort with these at all. The only mild negative I’ve found is that they are perhaps a little too loose and have once or twice slipped off.
I can’t speak to the NC when I’m out and about, and I can’t say how strong they are as I don’t really take them anywhere, so have no experience of shoving them into bags etc. They don’t fold up, though, so you’d need a carry case to keep them safe, I think, and they would take up a lot of room in your bag as a result. I also don’t know how good they’d be if I were using them while walking around.
But for my purposes in and around the house they are currently pretty faultless.
The Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have completely transformed my audio experience, offering exceptional sound quality and impressive battery life for uninterrupted listening pleasure.
Sony’s reputation for audio excellence shines through in these headphones. The sound quality is truly exceptional, with crisp highs, deep lows, and a rich, immersive soundstage that brings my music, movies, and podcasts to life. The noise-cancelling feature works seamlessly, blocking out external distractions and allowing me to focus fully on the audio experience.
One of the standout features of these headphones is the incredible battery life. With up to 35 hours of playback on a single charge, I can enjoy hours of uninterrupted listening without worrying about running out of power. Even when the battery does eventually run low, the quick charge function provides hours of playback with just a few minutes of charging, ensuring that I never have to miss a beat.
Comfort is another area where these headphones excel. The lightweight design and plush ear cushions make them incredibly comfortable to wear, even during extended listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit, and the swivel design makes it easy to store them away when not in use.
The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable and seamless, allowing for easy pairing with my devices and a stable connection throughout my listening experience. I also appreciate the built-in microphone, which provides crystal-clear call quality for hands-free communication on the go.
Overall, the Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have exceeded my expectations in every way. With their exceptional sound quality, impressive battery life, and comfortable design, they have become an essential part of my daily routine. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of high-quality wireless headphones for immersive listening enjoyment.
I got these headphones as I had lost my Airpods, and I needed some Bluetooth earphones, I purchased these last summer and they have been worth every penny. Considering I spent under 100 on these the noise cancellation is very good and so is the sound quality. My friend purchased the Sony XM4’s recently which at the time retailed for over 230 and upon comparing them with these headphones the difference was fairly minor and in my opinion, did not justify the extra 130 for such a negligible difference in sound quality and noise cancellation. If want some solid Bluetooth headphones and don’t want to spend a large sum of money, go for these, you will not regret it.
I have looked around at other budget headphones around this price range and these were by far the best you could get for your money. The noise cancellation is very good and makes noises in a car or on a bus very quiet. The sound quality is great. The build quality is pretty good as well and theyre very light. I dropped them on concrete while taking them off outside and apart from extremely minor cosmetic damage theres no issues. They are very comfortable and my ears never touch the insides of the earpads
The app however has been bugged for the past year on some android phones (mine is a pixel 7). It causes constant disconnections while the app is installed. It’s fixed by configuring my headphones and then permanently force stopping the app so it isnt running, but this is a silly workaround and sony need to fix this ASAP. The wired port also isnt very good. When theyre switched off the headphones sound far worse for some reason, meaning they have to be on even while in wired mode. And while theyre on in wired mode theres static noise in the background likely due to the cable in the port acting as an antenna creating some interference. This isnt an issue for most people but be warned the cabled mode isnt great. Finally Sony should provide official replacements for the earpads as I can tell these are going to start peeling eventually and you can only buy 3rd party ones or go on ali express to buy them.
Overall a great pair of budget headphones. I will likely get some XM5’s eventually to replace them but for now these are great.
Managed to get it on discount for 79. I wouldn’t say they’re the best, there’s definitely better headphones out there for similar prices but overall these seem quite reliable. Battery isn’t amazing though, full change can last around 2 days
I updated my Sony headphones to something more compact, Bluetooth with comfort fitting. Received my phones topped up the charge before using and yes the headphones worked a treat very comfortable to ware easy functions on the shell of the phones cream white colour makes them feel light and airy. Thanks sony tech 10/10
I got an airpod max which is super heavy but this hard phone is amazingly please to wear comfortably but the ANC feature is not the best one and occasionally have distorted noises from different angles. You can adjust he sound equaliser in the apps provided and this headphone give a great bass experience.
Overall it got my rating 4+ but not 5 yet due to slight poor ANC feature. But at this price it is well worth the .
In general you can not fault these sony headphones for the price. I don’t believe you will get better noise cancellation, audio quality, battery life or microphone quality for the price of 80. However be warned as this caught me out, there is notciable audio delay when watching videos.Yes this no doubt down to the fact your using bluetooth, but coming from a pair of apple headphones, its very jarring seeing the delay in a video when people speak. But if your mainly using for music listening or audio calls I couldn’t fault these.
I have only had them for an hour, so I only have positiviy for these. Barely out of the box and they paired to my stuff. Sound is great and able to pick up little guitar picks which I hadn’t noticed before. So may this continue. Definitely worth the money
I am using it for the last 2 months. No hursh noise still now. Also not interfered by outside noise. Let’s see how long it works like this, because I had a Sony head phone before but that was giving me trouble after 6 months. Hopefully it will work much more better and longer 🙂
Bought these for my wife and they are truly excellent for the cost, sound quality, build quality, ANC all great, but my wife wanted some of the features (gesturing for pause, play, volume etc) that I have on my wh-xb910n so exchanged these for the 100xm4 which she really loves.
TLDR great for money and the important things but lack some of the extra
I got these when the price dropped. I have had two sets of air buds not Sony but another brand and both hurt and nearly damaged my ears. These are fantastic. I used them on my cross trainer as I like to listen to music while on it. Did seem to feel lose and the music was good quality as well. Couldn’t really hear the cross trainer which I thought was good. But I did wear them when I was cleaning as this is my job. I could hear the vacuum still so yes I could hear other noises. The Bluetooth is credibly good to. Never really lost it but only one downside is that you can get quite warm and sweaty in the ear when doing physical work listening to music. But otherwise thes are great.
I’m not a person that is a big audiophile or anything like that, but I do love technology and always try to get the best available for the best price. Headphones for me have never justified buying the most recent technological product and spending a lot of money.
Back in 2019, I bought my first ANC Headphones, for just 35, the Bluedio T7 Plus, for the price they were amazing, sometimes connection drops a bit but nothing serious, ANC is good enough for the price, battery life is amazing and sound quality for me is good enough. Build quality is also amazing. They don’t fold, are a bit on the heavy side and my left ear sometimes warms up a bit, but nothing serious that I need to take them off. But sound wise, ANC and quality is there when you look at the price.
Before Christmas I was looking to upgrade to something better and with much better quality, my wife was also interested and searching for Headphones, so after much research I decided to gift her the Sony WH-CH720N white colour, they were on offer for 79.99. After trying them out, I could tell the ANC and sound quality was definitely 10 times better compared to my old and cheap Bluedio, they are very very light which makes them very comfortable. Connection is amazing, no drops or loss of audio quality, ANC is very good. They don’t fold and don’t include a case. Build quality could be better. At this price point I was impressed, specially the ANC, comfort and sound quality. She loved them and kept them.
I decided to spend much more so I could see if the higher prices means much better, and so I bought the Sony WH-1000XM4 for 199, was between these and the newer model XM5, after reading reviews decided to try these and they were also 79 cheaper, I liked them, sound quality was good, ANC hiss was a bit annoying but good as well, they fold and have a case. Considering these costed much more than the WH-CH720N I was expecting much more. The touch controls were horrible, less comfortable, connection lagged some times. Sound quality and ANC were a bit better, but in my opinion nothing that justifies spending and extra 120 for better build quality and a case. If I’m honest the ANC was on par with the WH-CH720N. For this decided to return them and was going to buy the WH-CH720N in black, but at the time they were sold out and couldn’t exchange them.
This comes to the point where after trying to find alternatives I decided to buy the Soundcore Q35, they were on offer at 75.99, good reviews, almost same price as the WH-CH720N, good features with a case included. What could go wrong? Truth is, everything.
Considering these Headphones are supposed to be high end to rival something like the Sony WH-1000XM4 which costed around 300 and they released at a price point of around 130, I was expecting something similar to the XM4, but I wasn’t impressed, they are just horrible, connection kept dropping all the time, my ears started going on fire, ANC barely exists, sound quality is basically not good, build quality is bad, I could hear creaking everywhere. To the point I realised, wait a minute, my 5 year old 35 cheap Bluedio have better ANC, sound and build quality than this? How can this be? But it is the reality.
In my opinion, it’s all marketing and paid reviews to make the product look good when it’s not, these Soundcore Q35 are definitely not worth the money.
In conclusion, if you are on the market for some good headphones at around 80, I definitely recommend the Sony WH-CH720N, it’s not perfect, they don’t fold and you need to buy a case. But you definitely get very good ANC, comfort and sound quality for this price, to the point I recommend them over the XM4 due to the price difference. Honestly, the XM4 are not that better and the ANC hiss is annoying.
Excellent headphones and great value for money. Love the feature where you can press a button on the side to make them noise cancelling or change to hear outside noise. Confortable to wear and the sound quality is very good.
The Sony headphone app was easy to install on my (Samsung) Android phone: just scan QR-code and install.
Now works great playing music from my phone via Bluetooth. Buttons on rear of right ear part allow easy increase/decrease of volume and pause/play, in case you put phone away and close your eyes. I managed to copy my iTunes music to my phone, and added album pictures to all track files in free and versatile Musicolet app for Android. Now I am ready to enjoy my music wirelessly on long plane and train journeys. Jay!
Perfect for me. Easy to set up but the app is poor.
The headphones are brilliant very comfortable even over several hours. The sound quality and controls are brilliant. The noise cancelling is ok. You can definitely tell the difwhen it is switched off to save battery
The Sony WH CH720N noise-cancelling headphones are an absolute delight. With a solid build that’s both pleasing and robust, these headphones offer a punchy sound that exceeds expectations for a budget-friendly headset. The forceful audio presentation delivers a rich and immersive listening experience, perfectly complemented by its decent ANC capabilities, especially considering the price point.
However, while the bass can be a tad over-enthusiastic for some, and the absence of a case or foldability might inconvenience travelers, these drawbacks are eclipsed by the exceptional value these headphones provide. Overall, Sony’s WH CH720N stands as a fantastic option for those seeking quality sound and noise cancellation without breaking the bank.
These headphones are working out just as expected – I’m only giving them 4 for noise cancellation at the moment because I have yet to try them on a plain or train but they are working very well around the house. They are very comfortable and quite lightweight. The sound quality is remarkable – I’m picking up on music content that I haven’t previously noted – shows what an improvement on the previous headphones I used. The Bluetooth range is also remarkable and the controls etc are intuitive and easy to use. They are well made. Luckily I’m able to use an old headphone case into which they fit comfortably.
So all in all I’m very pleased with this product.
I recently purchased the Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, and they have proven to be a fantastic addition to my audio experience.
These things are a solid investment for those seeking a reliable and feature-packed audio companion. With their sleek design, long-lasting battery, and advanced noise-cancelling capabilities, they stand out in the competitive wireless headphones market. Highly recommended for anyone in search of a versatile and high-performing audio solution.
For the 80 price, this is a nice head set. Very light and comfortable on the ears (very important I think!). Once I downloaded app and equalized sound to my taste- it was better. But it is missing a crispness and clarity perhaps you would get in more expensive headphones (I always find cheaper headphones sound a bit muffled. These are a bit like this). Bass sounds good. I would recommend.
Bought for my little sister for travelling
Light weight, charges quickly, lasts 3 days. Noise cancelling is very effective on planes and airports to give you thinking peace.
Can hear people talking but it’s modulated so you can still have conversations when not listening to music.
And the quality is top. Not over powered bass and very good clarity. Would recommend
This is such a perfect pair of headphones even for calls I don’t sound like a robot no more. The noise cancelling is not the best but amazing in this price category. I would fully recommend these pairs of headphones.
Needed a good pair of ANC headphones because humans are very loud and noisy and I’m rather sick of hearing them. These worked a charm – comfortable fit and a great sound. Insanely long battery life, too. Highly recommended.
I bought these primarily for studying so I can block out other noisy students in the library and wear them for long amounts of time without my ears getting sore. I also chose these because Sony seems to make good headphones, and I really liked the design- they aren’t too huge and bulky.
PROs:
Comfortable, I wear these for hours at a time in the library. Of course every so often I take them off for 5 minutes when my ears get warm but that’s inevitable. Happy with how comfortable they are because I also wear hijab, which means I already have 2 layers of fabric over my ears which makes most headphones so uncomfortable and painful to wear. The top band is squishy so it doesn’t hurt your head much.
The sound is lovely, but I’m no expert or that fussed over sound so I don’t know how it holds up against others. But I noticed a big difference with my other headphones, the music sounds great and you can adjust the settings from the app.
The noise cancelling mode is pretty good. Again I have no real point of comparison. It mostly blocks background noise, not people’s voices. Voices become muted, especially if it’s a crowd, but you can still hear people talking around you which is a bit of a bummer. But they are great for blocking other sounds- for example on the motorway, they totally block out the sounds of the road and cars. When I take them off I get shocked by how loud it is. This is great if you get overstimulated. Sometimes I wear them without playing anything just for some quiet. They block out some noise even without turning them on.
The app is good, you can adjust the noise cancelling. NC mode sometimes gives me a headache after a while, not sure why, so I often switch to ambient mode.
Battery strength is good. You should charge it every night if you’re going to use it a lot though. The only times it’s ran out is when I haven’t charged it in a few days despite heavy use. You could definitely charge it fully once and use it non stop for a car and plane journey- I’ve done that.
Very light considering the size. They aren’t heavy enough to hurt your head. Sometimes my scalp hurts after a while but that would happen with any sustained pressure. I just shift them forward or backwards and its fine. They’re pretty secure, enough to run in, but not sure of they’re tight enough to exercise at all angles with, you know moving your head up and down. I think if they were any tighter they’d be uncomfortable anyway so I don’t mind.
They’re pretty sturdy, not floppy lile my other smaller headphones from Sony.
I got it in white and I don’t regret it. They look very stylish. I hesitated because in the picture it looks paper white, but it’s a bit more muted in person, with hints of grey.
CONs:
Despite being generally comfortable, there’s a really annoying piece of plastic in the ear that pokes at my ear sometimes. I don’t know if it’s because my ears/head are sort of big but it’s irritating sometimes. I have to shift it around.
They don’t fold up. If they did they’d be so much easier to transport. As it is, I wear them around my neck, as the ear pieces thankfully do twist around. Still I think they’d be easier to take care of if they folded. It’s sort of risky just putting them in your bag, unless you can be bothered to carry them in a proper case which admittedly I rarely do. I had to buy a separate case for around 14 so add that to your tally.
The buttons feel a bit cheap, they’re quite clicky, not very soft. I don’t really care about that sort of thing but I know some people do.
OVERALL:
I got these after a long while of comparing different headphones. I settled on these because of the price. I’m a uni student and this is the most I’m willing to spend. It’s actually a little steep, especially since I don’t listen to music that much. They’re mainly for studying and travel. But because of the noise cancelling I end up using them a lot. If they were any more expensive, I’d be too afraid to use them as much as I do. Whilst they’re expensive for my range, they are the cheapest of Sonys over ear headphones that are good. And that also LOOK good. I’ll admit I value the aesthetics- there’s other brands with similar headphones that probably perform as well for less, but that look bulkier and uglier. These look great.
So I don’t regret this purchase!! I think it would be a total waste if I bought the more expensive Sony headphones that are more trendy right now, especially since I bought this myself. If you’re a student looking for a solid pair of headphones but can’t afford the popular ones, these are a great shout! I plan on using them at least until I finish university, so 3 year’s minimum. I’m getting my money’s worth. I also heard they use the same tech as the Sony XM4/5 but don’t quote me on that- but I think 90% of people would be very happy with the sound. I bought these when they dropped and there we’re basically 0 reviews- I took a leap and have no regrets!! They’d also make a great gift for any teenager obsessed with their music lol.
My daughter absolutely loves these.
Especially the noise cancelling mode.
Sound quality is very good too.
bought this for my tv with Bluetooth really handy to have and easy to wear on the ears with Sony really good produc
Amazing quality of the hardware and the sound even in loud office environments
Bought these for wifey for her messing about in her gym visits – buds kept falling out of her lugs – these hug well and stay in place. Audio quality is nice and mellow work well with her new mobile.
My first noise cancelling headphones. Very comfortable to wear and a life saver on a noisy commute. I’m not a music snob so can’t say how they compare with more high end headphones, but I’ve found the sound quality excellent with great balance.
I replaced my broken Beats (4x times the price) with this new bad boy and can’t fault it. Excellent sound, quality and grest value!
Bought to replace Airpods as daughter wanted to try over ear ‘phones. Sound is excellent for music or calls. Mics work very well. Far better than many others we’ve used. Has noise cancelling that actually works too. Sony competing with the likes of Senhieser and Bose and as good of not better. Neat app that works great with apple kit and a android one to I believe. They’re attached via Bluetooth to an iPhone and have full functionality! Nice touch.
Built quality and materials are top notch. Batteries are lasting ages. The sound is right up there with cans costing 2 or 3x as much. Reccomend these.
For the money it would be hard to beat these headphones. The sound quality is very good and you can wear them comfortably for long periods of time.
It outperforms cheaper options, worth the money and nice manual support found online. Needs factory reset (easy to do) when unplugged from PC.
Absolutely brilliant. Battery life on them is incredible and the noise cancellation is insane. 100% recommend.
Love these headphones they are comfortable and lightweight and sound grea
Love these, great noise cancelling function. Decent battery. Only gripe is other ppl can hear your music. But that’s really it.
To start with these sound great for the money. They feel very comfortable on your ears and I really really wanted to like them. I ended up returning them because apparently noise canceling over ear headphones make me feel nauseous. I didn’t know this was a thing until I tried this pair. I’ve used earbuds with active noise canceling from many years and have never had the problem before. I would say if this is not an issue for you then these are a very good pair of headphones and will serve you well.
Bought for my boyfriend so he can listen to music loudly at night without waking me up. He picked them but I have tried them myself and the quality is awesome. Super comfortable padding, the sound quality is great and the noise cancellation is crazy good. I’ve accidentally scared him so many times by ‘sneaking’ into the room while they’re on.
Wanted to find a mid-ranged alternative to my now old and tired wired Bose headphones. Having checked the reviews on ‘tech’ websites and not wanting to pay silly prices for something I only occasionally use, I decided on the Sony CH720N. Quality of sound is good as is the comfort. Finish not so around the ear cup padding. But the big let down for me was the noise cancelling!! I would say it cancels about 80% of external sound, which becomes evident when the input volume (listening volume) is turned down low. And that makes the external noise auditable. Not a problem when I am head-banging, but a big problem when listening to Bach! While the CH720N’s were cheaper than my Bose, I expected more bang for my buck having read the reviews. So, if you can put up with a little imported external noise then consider these, otherwise buy better quality!
Bought to replace a pair of Sony WH-CH700Ns that had fallen apart through heavy use.
This unit is pretty much just the update of the CH-700s. So I wasn’t expecting anything in terms of surprises.
And yet – these are a big improvement sound wise. You notice this immediately. They have the kind of clarity, richness and separation you only used to get with big money phones.
Also they’re a good bit lighter than the older version. So some pleasant surprises there. Also they’ve simplified the pause/forward/back buttons which is welcome.
Can’t comment on noise cancellation as I’m not sure what it’s meant to be able to do. Like is it supposed to block out the noise of a train going by? Is that even possible?
Delighted with these phones.
I’ll be honest, I chose these over similarly-priced headphones because they looked the nicest and I planned to wear them on the train occasionally – and they really do look good for this price range. The cups are flat, the design is very clean and minimal, and the colour (I bought the blue model) is a nice muted colour, nothing too shiny even though it’s plastic.
Sound quality – I haven’t used super-high-end headphones but compared to my other mid-range ones, they sound very good and balanced. Quality started off decent, and improved a lot with about 10 hours of ‘burn-in’ and fiddling with the EQ in the app. I mostly listen to orchestral, pop and electronic – I set mine to ‘Bright’ and adjusted the clear bass down a notch and everything is clear and rich.
Battery life – amazing, even when I forget to turn them off and have the noise cancelling on. USB-C connection and charges fast, so even if you do somehow get to the low battery stage you can quickly top them up before you rush out the door.
App – a little clunky but it’s very set-it-and-forget-it. Lots of EQ options and you can go in and customise from there, turn on the ability to connect to two devices at once, set up Voice Assistant, ‘Adaptive Sound Control’ for the ambient noise feature, whether you want to prioritise a stable Bluetooth connection or the sound quality, etc.
Connection – I haven’t had any problems with this, everything connects quickly and switches between devices as it should. There is a tiny bit of latency as expected so I would still use my wired ones for intense gaming sessions. Though compared to cheaper Bluetooth headphones I’ve used it’s really not that bad at all.
Comfort – Well I wear them for several hours a day and don’t need to move them too much so I’d say they’re fine. I do agree with other reviewers that you can occasionally feel a bit of plastic in the cup when they’re sitting a certain way – usually this is when I’ve put them on a bit too loose, adjusting the position and tightening the band fixes the issue.
The band stays in place after adjusting, the cups move both up and down and sideways to fit nicely. Something that really stands out to me is how light they are compared to my gaming headset, it makes them much comfier over long periods of time.
Noise cancelling – Most of the noise cancelling actually seems to be passive from the fit of the headphones, and the active just works slightly on top. It works best for low rumbling noises – washing machines, dishwasher noises, the hoover, the engine of the bus, the murmur of neighbours downstairs. It won’t cut out conversations very well, or loud banging doors, but it will be slightly muffled. Overall it helps my sensory issues a lot personally, I can now hoover my flat without feeling like my brain is on fire lol, I’m really happy with it.
Ambient noise feature – Still getting my head around this, it seems to amplify certain noises around you? I’ve used it when I need to hear the doorbell but tbh I’d rather just have one cup off my ear, I’m not keen on how it sounds personally, it’s a bit underwater-y to me.
Other – This is a small thing but I find the volume adjustment from the buttons is a little dramatic, the steps are too big – I end up having to use volume sliders on my devices more than the buttons. However I’m glad it has buttons instead of touch panels etc, so I can wear a hood over them without issues.
In summary: I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for comfy, good-looking, easy-to-use Bluetooth headphones to take the edge off the noise around them, with decent sound quality, fast charging and good battery life.
