I’ve always rated Sony products, and these are no exception. Unbelievably good performance for the price. Not too bulky with a nice matte finish. The noise cancelling function is excellent, and the headphones adapt very well to your environment to ensure highest sound quality possible. Bluetooth connectivity is fine and the app was easy to install on my phone. Just very impressed all around.
It is relatively flat so the bass isn’t boosted like other headphones. You get to hear the music how it was intended. The app interface is a bit weird but does come with an eq option. From my research this has a much better noise cancelling system to the higher priced headphones. So yes, very pleased with the product.
Had these for a few days now as a replacement to an old pair of Beats that just stopped working. I couldn’t justify 200+ on a new pair so decided to give these a go after some research. Really impressed by these, great value for your money. I would honestly say the sound quality is on par with my old Beats. Super easy set up. Too early to tell on the battery life, but overall super impressed with these headphones and definitely recommend if you’re willing to spend a bit more but don’t want to push the 100 mark!
Product works great, but the buttons do feel a little cheap, and the padding in front of the speaker is pretty thin, so much so I’ve had to cut and add more padding as after a while it can hurt my ears
In my opinion, I love its sound is amazing but there are some problems which probably want to be seen by most people which is the way they look if you have a big head and the surround sound can be a pain sometimes to use
I have owed Sony headphone for years, used for DJing and on flights, great value for money and the battery life are one of the best. Got these as I handed down my older ones to my kids. This Set are comfy and the sound quality is good as always love that they still come with the aux jack so I can ply into my vinyl player and either mess around or just sit back and chill on a evening off. Easy to set up and adjust the sound quality to your liking, connects to multi devices at once and the range is one of the best ye
So I spend endless hours looking at different headphones, it’s a mine field when your on a lower end budget, if you 2/300 to spend it would have have been easier, I eventually decided on these Sony, well they are great, great volume and bass, easy to use app, sound great, if you want premium quality then spend 100’s and don’t moan about these, for this price they are spot on, not cheap looking or feel, if your on a budget and want a middle of the range pair of headphones, buy these and then you can stop looking lol
For this price, its the best you’ll get. Compared to my Sony XM3’s, they are definitely a bit muddier in the mid frequencies, and a lot of instruments and vocals sound a bit close together and not separated. A good EQ in the Sony app improves these a lot compared to the standard sound profile. They are portable and theres a bag to store them in, but no case which you’ll need to buy separate. The bluetooth connection is good over distance and I haven’t had any connection problems or stuttering yet. The clarity in the mids is definitely something to think about though, as if you are used to making music you will notice instantly. They are durable and the buttons are nice and clicky, and easy to find. If the mids were a bit clearer and it came with a case, I’d give 5 stars!
Bought these as a second pair to my much more expensive – and excellent – Bose NCs as we now have a second iPad in the family. Great value, considering the sound quality, although I am no auidiophile and I mostly use them to listen to films or YouTube on an iPad. Connection as easy as anyother Bluetooth device on iPadOS. The real win is in the lightweight that means they are easy to wear for longer films. Only minor niggle is that the buttons are rather fiddly to use when on the head and the On/Off button is too small for larger fingers to find easily. But overall, I recommend these as a good value purchase.
I use ear buds and headphones to listen to the radio / music or when watching TV while my wife spends much time practising on her violin and other instruments. I was introduced to noise cancelling headphones by my grandson who uses them while studying at university – not to mention Hannah Fry.
I chose the lowest cost available after trying them at a large retailer, using the price difference to buy a case – I am very impressed with these – I could not discern any huge difference to more expensive ones , but I am not a true audio buff, just an every day listener.
The biggest difference to my cheap ear buds is the very short time between vision and sound – lol sync ok on all but I could notice with ear buds a delay between athletes starting and the gun sound at the Olympics – this was indiscernible with the Sony headphones watching the Paralympics
I do a lot of travel and only recently purchased these for international trips. They have exceeded my expectations in every way. From sound quality to comfort, these headphones offer an exceptional experience that is hard to beat, especially at their price point. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced, providing a great listening experience.
Sony claims up to 35 hours of playback time with noise-cancelling turned on, and in my experience, this is pretty accurate. I’ve gone days without needing to recharge them, which is a huge plus for someone who uses headphones frequently throughout the day. The quick charge feature is also handy, giving you several hours of playback with just a few minutes of charging.
I had previously brought beats in prime sale and they were really uncomfortable and sound quality was ok. I return and purchased these, very comfortable and amazing sound for the price. They connect really well to apple products . Impressive.
I am comparing the weight with my old headphones, AKG K501, and these Sony are much lighter and more comfortable to wear for the 5 – 6 hours I use them. battery life is impressive too, a quick press of the power button gets the ‘voice’ telling you how much approx power is remaining. Other controls for volume etc are easy to use. I have yet to try the mic so cannot comment on that. They charge very quickly from a standard 5v USB charger but cannot be charged while using bluetooth, they automatically switch off when usb is plugged in. There is a 3.5mm audio lead though and wether this may be used when charging I don’t know. Overall I am very pleased with these and would recommend.
I can’t find a flaw with these headphones. The sound quality is fantastic, the fit is perfect and the battery live is staggering.
If I was nitpicking it’s that they don’t fold down, but the cups rotate allowing for flat storage. Apart from that these headphones are very good. Instant pairing, a much further Bluetooth range than Samsung buds and the sound quality is brilliant. Complete with custom equalisers or presets you can tailor the sound easily. They look good with a matte finish, not cheap. They feel solid in construction. The cups are comfortable and a good size to encompass the ear. They can get a little sweaty if you run in them for a long time or at a fast pace, however, they feel ridiculously secure. They’re not going anywhere. There is adjustment on each side of the overhead band allowing for someone with a normal sized head all the way up to a freak with an alien/watermelon head.
They even included a small aux cable to turn them into wired headphones if you’re a bit of a gimp.
I’m currently disabled due to a brain haemorrhage & need headphones which I can fit with one hand only- I have “premium” headphones( Sony XM5, Bose Ultra) but I can’t get these over my head with one hand- I’m so pleased with the Sony Ch720n- they fit over my head using one hand & the button controls are easy & effective to use.they’re also extremely comfortable.the Sound quality is exceptional & the noise cancelling is effective for my needs whilst I’m in hospital so that I can listen to podcasts & music in conplete peace- Iam finding it hard tobelieve how good these are for99 – especially as they sound as good as headphones I’ve paid450 for!when you take time to use the equaliser in the Sony app you can get stunning bass & great clarity.Brilliant headphones for less than 100- so good that I’ll be using these when I’m out of hospital too.
The Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have completely transformed my audio experience, offering exceptional sound quality and impressive battery life for uninterrupted listening pleasure.
Sony’s reputation for audio excellence shines through in these headphones. The sound quality is truly exceptional, with crisp highs, deep lows, and a rich, immersive soundstage that brings my music, movies, and podcasts to life. The noise-cancelling feature works seamlessly, blocking out external distractions and allowing me to focus fully on the audio experience.
One of the standout features of these headphones is the incredible battery life. With up to 35 hours of playback on a single charge, I can enjoy hours of uninterrupted listening without worrying about running out of power. Even when the battery does eventually run low, the quick charge function provides hours of playback with just a few minutes of charging, ensuring that I never have to miss a beat.
Comfort is another area where these headphones excel. The lightweight design and plush ear cushions make them incredibly comfortable to wear, even during extended listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit, and the swivel design makes it easy to store them away when not in use.
The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable and seamless, allowing for easy pairing with my devices and a stable connection throughout my listening experience. I also appreciate the built-in microphone, which provides crystal-clear call quality for hands-free communication on the go.
Overall, the Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have exceeded my expectations in every way. With their exceptional sound quality, impressive battery life, and comfortable design, they have become an essential part of my daily routine. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of high-quality wireless headphones for immersive listening enjoyment.
I have looked around at other budget headphones around this price range and these were by far the best you could get for your money. The noise cancellation is very good and makes noises in a car or on a bus very quiet. The sound quality is great. The build quality is pretty good as well and theyre very light. I dropped them on concrete while taking them off outside and apart from extremely minor cosmetic damage theres no issues. They are very comfortable and my ears never touch the insides of the earpads
The app however has been bugged for the past year on some android phones (mine is a pixel 7). It causes constant disconnections while the app is installed. It’s fixed by configuring my headphones and then permanently force stopping the app so it isnt running, but this is a silly workaround and sony need to fix this ASAP. The wired port also isnt very good. When theyre switched off the headphones sound far worse for some reason, meaning they have to be on even while in wired mode. And while theyre on in wired mode theres static noise in the background likely due to the cable in the port acting as an antenna creating some interference. This isnt an issue for most people but be warned the cabled mode isnt great. Finally Sony should provide official replacements for the earpads as I can tell these are going to start peeling eventually and you can only buy 3rd party ones or go on ali express to buy them.
Overall a great pair of budget headphones. I will likely get some XM5’s eventually to replace them but for now these are great.
I’m not a person that is a big audiophile or anything like that, but I do love technology and always try to get the best available for the best price. Headphones for me have never justified buying the most recent technological product and spending a lot of money.
Back in 2019, I bought my first ANC Headphones, for just 35, the Bluedio T7 Plus, for the price they were amazing, sometimes connection drops a bit but nothing serious, ANC is good enough for the price, battery life is amazing and sound quality for me is good enough. Build quality is also amazing. They don’t fold, are a bit on the heavy side and my left ear sometimes warms up a bit, but nothing serious that I need to take them off. But sound wise, ANC and quality is there when you look at the price.
Before Christmas I was looking to upgrade to something better and with much better quality, my wife was also interested and searching for Headphones, so after much research I decided to gift her the Sony WH-CH720N white colour, they were on offer for 79.99. After trying them out, I could tell the ANC and sound quality was definitely 10 times better compared to my old and cheap Bluedio, they are very very light which makes them very comfortable. Connection is amazing, no drops or loss of audio quality, ANC is very good. They don’t fold and don’t include a case. Build quality could be better. At this price point I was impressed, specially the ANC, comfort and sound quality. She loved them and kept them.
I decided to spend much more so I could see if the higher prices means much better, and so I bought the Sony WH-1000XM4 for 199, was between these and the newer model XM5, after reading reviews decided to try these and they were also 79 cheaper, I liked them, sound quality was good, ANC hiss was a bit annoying but good as well, they fold and have a case. Considering these costed much more than the WH-CH720N I was expecting much more. The touch controls were horrible, less comfortable, connection lagged some times. Sound quality and ANC were a bit better, but in my opinion nothing that justifies spending and extra 120 for better build quality and a case. If I’m honest the ANC was on par with the WH-CH720N. For this decided to return them and was going to buy the WH-CH720N in black, but at the time they were sold out and couldn’t exchange them.
This comes to the point where after trying to find alternatives I decided to buy the Soundcore Q35, they were on offer at 75.99, good reviews, almost same price as the WH-CH720N, good features with a case included. What could go wrong? Truth is, everything.
Considering these Headphones are supposed to be high end to rival something like the Sony WH-1000XM4 which costed around 300 and they released at a price point of around 130, I was expecting something similar to the XM4, but I wasn’t impressed, they are just horrible, connection kept dropping all the time, my ears started going on fire, ANC barely exists, sound quality is basically not good, build quality is bad, I could hear creaking everywhere. To the point I realised, wait a minute, my 5 year old 35 cheap Bluedio have better ANC, sound and build quality than this? How can this be? But it is the reality.
In my opinion, it’s all marketing and paid reviews to make the product look good when it’s not, these Soundcore Q35 are definitely not worth the money.
In conclusion, if you are on the market for some good headphones at around 80, I definitely recommend the Sony WH-CH720N, it’s not perfect, they don’t fold and you need to buy a case. But you definitely get very good ANC, comfort and sound quality for this price, to the point I recommend them over the XM4 due to the price difference. Honestly, the XM4 are not that better and the ANC hiss is annoying.
Just got these today, absolutely love them. Covers your ears nicely, very comfortable to wear had them on for 4 hours straight listening go music, noise cancelling is great!
Highly recommended buying these, great sound, easy to set up. Brilliant, just brillia
They are nice headphones and comfortable around my large ears, I can hear the gym music in my ears although slightly muffled but when I stream on Spotify all is loud and clear.
Superb sound for the cost as you would expect from Sony but when setting up your headphones through the app it asks you to pay for a subscription for different companies to get the 360 surround sound.
hese are so good and especially for the price, they’re so comfy and the sound + noise cancelling is really good. you can change the sound settings on the app to get it how you like it which is so good as I love loads of bass. I would defo recommend if you want proper good headphones on a lower budget. They are big as they’re over head but don’t look ridiculous. these are gonna be great for studying
Purchased these phones as an upgrade from my old ones. The Price was very good, so I was a little sceptical. I have to say they are worth every penny and more! The sound quality and volume are excellent. Very lightweight and comfortable, extremely easy to pair up to your Bluetooth device and the app makes personalizing to your preference quick and easy. Will pair to a second device, although I haven’t tried that out yet. The noise cancelling is enough to allow you to enjoy your tunes.
For the 80 price, this is a nice head set. Very light and comfortable on the ears (very important I think!). Once I downloaded app and equalized sound to my taste- it was better. But it is missing a crispness and clarity perhaps you would get in more expensive headphones (I always find cheaper headphones sound a bit muffled. These are a bit like this). Bass sounds good. I would recommend.
Bought for my little sister for travelling
Light weight, charges quickly, lasts 3 days. Noise cancelling is very effective on planes and airports to give you thinking peace.
Can hear people talking but it’s modulated so you can still have conversations when not listening to music.
And the quality is top. Not over powered bass and very good clarity. Would recommend
Needed a good pair of ANC headphones because humans are very loud and noisy and I’m rather sick of hearing them. These worked a charm – comfortable fit and a great sound. Insanely long battery life, too. Highly recommended.
I bought these primarily for studying so I can block out other noisy students in the library and wear them for long amounts of time without my ears getting sore. I also chose these because Sony seems to make good headphones, and I really liked the design- they aren’t too huge and bulky.
PROs:
Comfortable, I wear these for hours at a time in the library. Of course every so often I take them off for 5 minutes when my ears get warm but that’s inevitable. Happy with how comfortable they are because I also wear hijab, which means I already have 2 layers of fabric over my ears which makes most headphones so uncomfortable and painful to wear. The top band is squishy so it doesn’t hurt your head much.
The sound is lovely, but I’m no expert or that fussed over sound so I don’t know how it holds up against others. But I noticed a big difference with my other headphones, the music sounds great and you can adjust the settings from the app.
The noise cancelling mode is pretty good. Again I have no real point of comparison. It mostly blocks background noise, not people’s voices. Voices become muted, especially if it’s a crowd, but you can still hear people talking around you which is a bit of a bummer. But they are great for blocking other sounds- for example on the motorway, they totally block out the sounds of the road and cars. When I take them off I get shocked by how loud it is. This is great if you get overstimulated. Sometimes I wear them without playing anything just for some quiet. They block out some noise even without turning them on.
The app is good, you can adjust the noise cancelling. NC mode sometimes gives me a headache after a while, not sure why, so I often switch to ambient mode.
Battery strength is good. You should charge it every night if you’re going to use it a lot though. The only times it’s ran out is when I haven’t charged it in a few days despite heavy use. You could definitely charge it fully once and use it non stop for a car and plane journey- I’ve done that.
Very light considering the size. They aren’t heavy enough to hurt your head. Sometimes my scalp hurts after a while but that would happen with any sustained pressure. I just shift them forward or backwards and its fine. They’re pretty secure, enough to run in, but not sure of they’re tight enough to exercise at all angles with, you know moving your head up and down. I think if they were any tighter they’d be uncomfortable anyway so I don’t mind.
They’re pretty sturdy, not floppy lile my other smaller headphones from Sony.
I got it in white and I don’t regret it. They look very stylish. I hesitated because in the picture it looks paper white, but it’s a bit more muted in person, with hints of grey.
CONs:
Despite being generally comfortable, there’s a really annoying piece of plastic in the ear that pokes at my ear sometimes. I don’t know if it’s because my ears/head are sort of big but it’s irritating sometimes. I have to shift it around.
They don’t fold up. If they did they’d be so much easier to transport. As it is, I wear them around my neck, as the ear pieces thankfully do twist around. Still I think they’d be easier to take care of if they folded. It’s sort of risky just putting them in your bag, unless you can be bothered to carry them in a proper case which admittedly I rarely do. I had to buy a separate case for around 14 so add that to your tally.
The buttons feel a bit cheap, they’re quite clicky, not very soft. I don’t really care about that sort of thing but I know some people do.
OVERALL:
I got these after a long while of comparing different headphones. I settled on these because of the price. I’m a uni student and this is the most I’m willing to spend. It’s actually a little steep, especially since I don’t listen to music that much. They’re mainly for studying and travel. But because of the noise cancelling I end up using them a lot. If they were any more expensive, I’d be too afraid to use them as much as I do. Whilst they’re expensive for my range, they are the cheapest of Sonys over ear headphones that are good. And that also LOOK good. I’ll admit I value the aesthetics- there’s other brands with similar headphones that probably perform as well for less, but that look bulkier and uglier. These look great.
So I don’t regret this purchase!! I think it would be a total waste if I bought the more expensive Sony headphones that are more trendy right now, especially since I bought this myself. If you’re a student looking for a solid pair of headphones but can’t afford the popular ones, these are a great shout! I plan on using them at least until I finish university, so 3 year’s minimum. I’m getting my money’s worth. I also heard they use the same tech as the Sony XM4/5 but don’t quote me on that- but I think 90% of people would be very happy with the sound. I bought these when they dropped and there we’re basically 0 reviews- I took a leap and have no regrets!! They’d also make a great gift for any teenager obsessed with their music lol.
To be honest, I bought a cheap pair of headphones for 20 and the quality was appalling, sound leakage everywhere. I decided to refund those and purchase a better pair. These headphones are extremely comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. They are not too large and do not press on my ears at all. (I have many piercings so this is a great feature). The battery life is very satisfactory, after a couple hours of charging, I can use them for the whole day, and the next. I really recommend these headphones. If the sound is on the highest volume in a quiet room, then others will hear, but on a bit more than half and less, there is no sound detected unless they are an inch away from you.
Bought these for wifey for her messing about in her gym visits – buds kept falling out of her lugs – these hug well and stay in place. Audio quality is nice and mellow work well with her new mobile.
My first noise cancelling headphones. Very comfortable to wear and a life saver on a noisy commute. I’m not a music snob so can’t say how they compare with more high end headphones, but I’ve found the sound quality excellent with great balance.
Bought to replace Airpods as daughter wanted to try over ear ‘phones. Sound is excellent for music or calls. Mics work very well. Far better than many others we’ve used. Has noise cancelling that actually works too. Sony competing with the likes of Senhieser and Bose and as good of not better. Neat app that works great with apple kit and a android one to I believe. They’re attached via Bluetooth to an iPhone and have full functionality! Nice touch.
Built quality and materials are top notch. Batteries are lasting ages. The sound is right up there with cans costing 2 or 3x as much. Reccomend these.
To start with these sound great for the money. They feel very comfortable on your ears and I really really wanted to like them. I ended up returning them because apparently noise canceling over ear headphones make me feel nauseous. I didn’t know this was a thing until I tried this pair. I’ve used earbuds with active noise canceling from many years and have never had the problem before. I would say if this is not an issue for you then these are a very good pair of headphones and will serve you well.
Wanted to find a mid-ranged alternative to my now old and tired wired Bose headphones. Having checked the reviews on ‘tech’ websites and not wanting to pay silly prices for something I only occasionally use, I decided on the Sony CH720N. Quality of sound is good as is the comfort. Finish not so around the ear cup padding. But the big let down for me was the noise cancelling!! I would say it cancels about 80% of external sound, which becomes evident when the input volume (listening volume) is turned down low. And that makes the external noise auditable. Not a problem when I am head-banging, but a big problem when listening to Bach! While the CH720N’s were cheaper than my Bose, I expected more bang for my buck having read the reviews. So, if you can put up with a little imported external noise then consider these, otherwise buy better quality!
Bought to replace a pair of Sony WH-CH700Ns that had fallen apart through heavy use.
This unit is pretty much just the update of the CH-700s. So I wasn’t expecting anything in terms of surprises.
And yet – these are a big improvement sound wise. You notice this immediately. They have the kind of clarity, richness and separation you only used to get with big money phones.
Also they’re a good bit lighter than the older version. So some pleasant surprises there. Also they’ve simplified the pause/forward/back buttons which is welcome.
Can’t comment on noise cancellation as I’m not sure what it’s meant to be able to do. Like is it supposed to block out the noise of a train going by? Is that even possible?
Delighted with these phones.
I’ll be honest, I chose these over similarly-priced headphones because they looked the nicest and I planned to wear them on the train occasionally – and they really do look good for this price range. The cups are flat, the design is very clean and minimal, and the colour (I bought the blue model) is a nice muted colour, nothing too shiny even though it’s plastic.
Sound quality – I haven’t used super-high-end headphones but compared to my other mid-range ones, they sound very good and balanced. Quality started off decent, and improved a lot with about 10 hours of ‘burn-in’ and fiddling with the EQ in the app. I mostly listen to orchestral, pop and electronic – I set mine to ‘Bright’ and adjusted the clear bass down a notch and everything is clear and rich.
Battery life – amazing, even when I forget to turn them off and have the noise cancelling on. USB-C connection and charges fast, so even if you do somehow get to the low battery stage you can quickly top them up before you rush out the door.
App – a little clunky but it’s very set-it-and-forget-it. Lots of EQ options and you can go in and customise from there, turn on the ability to connect to two devices at once, set up Voice Assistant, ‘Adaptive Sound Control’ for the ambient noise feature, whether you want to prioritise a stable Bluetooth connection or the sound quality, etc.
Connection – I haven’t had any problems with this, everything connects quickly and switches between devices as it should. There is a tiny bit of latency as expected so I would still use my wired ones for intense gaming sessions. Though compared to cheaper Bluetooth headphones I’ve used it’s really not that bad at all.
Comfort – Well I wear them for several hours a day and don’t need to move them too much so I’d say they’re fine. I do agree with other reviewers that you can occasionally feel a bit of plastic in the cup when they’re sitting a certain way – usually this is when I’ve put them on a bit too loose, adjusting the position and tightening the band fixes the issue.
The band stays in place after adjusting, the cups move both up and down and sideways to fit nicely. Something that really stands out to me is how light they are compared to my gaming headset, it makes them much comfier over long periods of time.
Noise cancelling – Most of the noise cancelling actually seems to be passive from the fit of the headphones, and the active just works slightly on top. It works best for low rumbling noises – washing machines, dishwasher noises, the hoover, the engine of the bus, the murmur of neighbours downstairs. It won’t cut out conversations very well, or loud banging doors, but it will be slightly muffled. Overall it helps my sensory issues a lot personally, I can now hoover my flat without feeling like my brain is on fire lol, I’m really happy with it.
Ambient noise feature – Still getting my head around this, it seems to amplify certain noises around you? I’ve used it when I need to hear the doorbell but tbh I’d rather just have one cup off my ear, I’m not keen on how it sounds personally, it’s a bit underwater-y to me.
Other – This is a small thing but I find the volume adjustment from the buttons is a little dramatic, the steps are too big – I end up having to use volume sliders on my devices more than the buttons. However I’m glad it has buttons instead of touch panels etc, so I can wear a hood over them without issues.
In summary: I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for comfy, good-looking, easy-to-use Bluetooth headphones to take the edge off the noise around them, with decent sound quality, fast charging and good battery life.
Bought these on a whim as i wanted a more obvious “please don’t talk to me” visual indicators.
THe sound quality is good and they don’t seem like they’ll break too easily.
I wish the charging cable was longer, but honestly speaking that goes for a lot of products these days.
These have almost everything I want in a headphone. The sound quality is amazing, the noise cancelling works really well, they’re comfortable, easy to use and connect. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t rotate 360 or fold up for storage. Also sidenote, if you have a small head and normally headphones don’t fit, these are perfect!
I love these new headphones which were bought as my old ones were looking a little worse for wear. Easy to use with clear guidance on downloading the app. Brilliant !
These are pretty good, all in all. Comfortable and lightweight to wear, and I’ve had them on for around three hours with no discomfort.
One thing puzzles me thought, and that is when I first tried them I was finding a fairly noticeable hissing sound, particularly during quiter parts of the audio. This was before I used the app and discovered it’s an ‘ambient noise’ feature, which can be turned off. I fail to see why this is turned ON by default. Am I alone in NOT wanting a hissing noise from my headphones?
Really good headphones, surround sound works amazingly, and they look amazing.
The packaging was quite simple but I don’t mind it, for 100 headphones I was expecting a protective bag or something but overall they are really good and don’t hurt my ears for someone with glasses !
I also got them so I could use them with my PS4 to watch YouTube and they work really well with that too.
I dislike nothing they do exactly what they say on the tin forget all the jargon of other reviews that may confuse you for 100 they are good pair of headphones and they sound amazing lightweight without feeling cheap noise cancellation is good and charge to charge lasts long I bought mine mostly for the gym.and they are perfect and I’ve taken calls on them sounded OK I highly recommend them for the price good quality !
Genuinely excellent value for a set of well featured Sony headphones. The noise cancelling is a 4/5 where as it’s a 5 on the XM series and the soundstage is better on the higher end model; but not by much.
Personally as these are much lighter they’re much more comfortable for extended periods and I believe the slight NC/audio trade off is worth it.
Excellent value for 99
Decent product, reasonable price, overall 7-10 good every day produc
I bought these for my granddaughter as a cheaper option to the other Sony noise cancelling headphones costing 249. She absolutely loves them. They sound great and noise cancelling is excellent. Very pleased
i do love these headphones, only think i don’t like about them is if i have them half way volume you can hear them if i am in a quiet room, especially if they’re full blast but i’ve gotten used to the
Good value headphones with very good sound. Lightweight design makes them comfortable for long periods of wearing them. Battery life is one of the best of there. Noise cancelling is good but not as good as more expensive models. The weakness is in the poor, non-intuitive design of the app. The good news is that once set up you don’t really need it especially with the software available on most phones, tablets and computers.
I’ll start first by letting you all know that the noise cancellation does work with the 3.5mm Jack lead plugged in. The first thing that happens when you plug in is that the headphones turn off, so work without any power at all. If you need the ANC simply turn the headphones on. I have had to send 2 different pairs of headphones back by other manufacturers due to them not having this feature. I only want this feature for long haul flights so I can use the in flight entertainment. The headphone are unbelievably light. Bluetooth connection has been faultless also so far.
Like other reviewers state the app allows you you set sound exactly as you need. Oh and these headphones are loud.
I did a search for Sony 710 case and these fit in it lovely.
-Budget friendly
-Perfect active noise cancelling (ANC)
-it’s very light and comfortable headphone.
-Really Clear sound
-The bass not blow up your ears like fake cheap Bluetooth headphones.
-in Apple iphone Open sony headphones app. and go Equalizer then sett EQ mode to (Excited) then listening Rihanna Rude Boy in Dolby Atmos format from Apple Music. it’s amazing clear bass.
-if connected to both two devices Pc. and mobile the sony headphones app. can control windows PC. it is can forward and reverse the music and can volume up and down. like itunes and youtube or music players or browsers etc.
thank you amazon for quick shipping.
Very pleased with these.
Light and comfortable over ear.
Very good sound.
Stable Bluetooth connection with very good range.
Quick charge and excellent battery.
Fantastic value for money.
Noise cancelling is not amazing but it does have some effect.
App is not very well designed – it’s overly complicated IMO – but it works – including software / firmware updates.
Graphic equaliser and sound options could be better.
Could not get a Bluetooth connection on first use via the app.
NB on first use connect to Bluetooth using your device Bluetooth settings – not the app as this doesn’t seem to work.
Once connected to your device then open the app if you want to to use it for changing settings etc.
Once I had made the first blue tooth connection it reconnected quickly every time.
For the price I think these are excellent – I was considering apple max but too expensive so I have been looking for an alternative for a long time – these are great and I highly recommend them.
I saw a review on the cult of Mac site that said these were very good.
