Fantastic for apartments or paved access jobs. I can fit all my hand tools and it can handle a good amount of weigh

I’m an electrician and I’ve had three of these over the last couple of years. I work them hard so eventually the zip will break from forcing it too much, or the wheels wear out from bouncing up and down kerbs and over rough ground when heavily laden. BUT, for a tool bag that I can cram lots of hand and power tools into, carry on my back or drag behind me – and for the money – I think it’s worth every penny. The ‘broken’ ones (where one zip doesn’t work or the wheel is clattering along) are still used for carrying test meters and ancillary stuff, so I really can’t complain. I also can’t find a better one for the money and some of my colleagues have had much more expensive brands that aren’t as practical and/or don’t last much longer. That said, my first one was the smaller version which has a much better tool carrier insert (whatever it’s called – the bit that holds your hand tools that can be removed) and I always combine that with the bigger one. That’s my only real criticism because if Stanley combined the two it would be a real winner every time.

This was bought for my son for his college & his work. He said it’s the best thing that I’ve bought. It holds everything he needs in it. Very good value for money.

Very durable plenty of slots and space to put your tools. Easy to move about with handles and wheels and easy to just strap onto your back to carry up stairs. Perfect for the job I do (Aircon instillation)

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI think this is a good idea and fairly well made etc but does not work for me as well as I had hoped. The wheels seem fine, but the rucksack straps have a tendency to fall out of the pocket then catch against the wheels. I carry a lot of tools and need to be able to reach each of them with one hand. The internal divider is a bit floppy – I wish it was solid/rigid rather than fabric. Smaller tools can fall to the bottom. and large tools e.g. hammer, adjustable spanner end up in the ‘laptop’ slot and fall all over the place. I’ll keep using it until I have something better.

The best value for money. Of the same size and functioning bag on the market.
Had one for 2 years. Then when zipper and wheels gave up. I ordered a different make, didn’t last 2 weeks. Now I am back to it.

Bought this for step dad as a gift. It’s his second one. He absolutely loves them. He’s an electrician and uses his tool bag every day for work. He really likes all the compartments and how easy it is to organise his tools and specially likes the handle so he doesn’t have to carry it when it full as it can get quite heavy. Great value too!

Great bag but the wheels are not great, they don’t last too long and the more pressure they are under the less time they last. The main zip handles aren’t great either so be careful when doing them up.

Bought this after seeing a friend using it who bought it to wheel around london. Good bag, fit a decent amount of tools in it and straps on either side let you secure saws, spirit levels, grips, and stuff like impact drivers and drills so you can free up the room inside for other tools. Nice that the front opens fully and flips down so you can see what you’ve got inside. At this price point there is no competition from other brands.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic tool bag. I love that the tool bag has wheels or can be worn as a rucksack. Im my line of work, I’m up and down stairs all day so this design gives me the best of both worlds ensuring I can carry all my tools up the stairs but also wheel them along corridors reducing the strain on my back.

The shoulder straps are big and comfy and the amount os space inside is more than sufficient for most trades.

    Highly recommended!

I can’t fault this bag. So far so good. I sometimes get back ache and sore knees…I prefer to use the tool bag as a backpack because I can carry more. But, if my joints are playing up, it has a handle with wheels on the bottom, making life easier.
There’s enough room for all my daily use tools and it’s sturdy with strong zips. At this price, and from the extensive research, comparing and YouTube videos I’ve sifted through, this is my top choice. Save yourself the time and overpaying elsewhere. I expect this bag to last for years to come.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the ideal tool bag for my maintenance job. This is the second one I have bought I had tried a different brand but had to return it straight away due to quality issues. I do a lot of walking in my job and my first one I had to replace the wheels after 6 months and after a year of hard use the extending handle broke but this was after being pulled full of tools around the pavements of central London and for the money I think the bag is well designed, durable and good value.

I’ve had this bag a while now, and i am starting to hate it. As, before when i turned up for work in the morning and had a carry bag, I used to have a little doss walking to my work location. I used to moan about having to carry my bag, I’d put it down every 5 mins and wait around, then pick it up and carry it 100 yards then put it down again. Now i don’t have that excuse I can just roll it all the way to where i’m working. That’s the state of the country today, they want you to do a FULL 10 hours of work for 5 hours of pay. where as most people want to do 5 hours of work for 10 hours pay, which are you? and you can decide for yourself do you really want this bag

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our Usershi, bought this as im a joiner and had a job coming up on the third floor of some flats and only wanted to be carrying the tools i needed for the job rather than humping my heavy tool box up and down the stairs i found the fatmax to be quite good its well made has pockets and strapps on the outside i straped my two foot leavel to oneside and my silicone gun to the other side plus other bits and bobs in the pockets inside there is a lift out devider with slots for screw drivers and such i took this out to make more room inside i carry a cordless screw driver two batries and charger screw drivers hammer silicone and fixings so did my job spot on its quite heavy when fully loaded but wen you are carrying with the comfy shoulder straps on your back its ok and also leaves your hands free to open doors or carry somthing else and once you reach the top of the stairs you can put it down and roll on the wheels on good floors dont think the wheels would cope with ruff ground as they are just like suit case wheels,so overall its prety good would of given five stars but it is a little heavy when empty.
