Nice little toolbox got all I wanted in it still with loads of room like having the 3 separate sections but got a crack in the lid within a week of owning it so maybe not as strong as I first thought but a bit off glue and gaffer tape sorted tha
item as described, well made and good strong clips on side, wheels around ok when loaded, plenty of space inside each section, time will tell how long it lasts, would buy agai
ot loads to say on this, it works a treat as it should! Great quality for the price, really good bargain would truly recommend. Nothing majorly fancy but for this price you can’t expect much more.
It was amazing and my dad loved it however it did arrive with a crack in the handle but thankfully it is still usable, all tools can fit inside it as it’s big enough with its multiple compartments
Best toolbox yet, had one similar a few years ago
I can’t find anything to complain . Segregate all my tools , three sections that all clip together. Lifting handle and wheely handle. I’m very happy.
Though this looks a bit cheap, the plastic is durable, attachments and wheels good. Got at a great price, far cheaper than the high street and delivered to doo
WhT is Not to like plenty space for my tools.
Little on the smaller side but I got at a reduced price so was a bargain. Good quality and sturdy. Just the right height to act as a seat too.
Great for the money will be buying another one right away
Sturdy, Robust wheels for easy manoeuvre, good storage to for small tools etc. It’s a pity it wasn’t a bit larger.
Well pleased with this fitted
All i needed to fit into it and room left only little gripe is the pull handle could be longer but that’s about it.
Bought for my son to keep all his tools in one place. Very sturdy box, with lots of layers that can be used together or on their own. Highly recommended
Fits the bill everything in one place up to now worth the money.
Mr B Smith. Thanks
A very reasonable price for a top quality toolbox I’m very happy with i
It’s great, just what I needed for my craft/DIY tools. Fits my Dremel and accessories in as well as general screw drivers, hammers etc
One thing that particularly stood out to me about this toolbox was the fact that it comes with a detachable toolbox on top. This has been incredibly convenient for me, as I can easily take the smaller toolbox to smaller jobs or to different parts of my workspace without having to lug around the entire larger toolbox.
Overall, I would highly recommend the STANLEY Essential Rolling Workshop Toolbox to anyone who needs a high-quality, spacious toolbox that is also easy to move around. It has made my life as a handyman much easier and more organized.
I decided to buy this to replace all those individual boxes with power tools and drill bits etc. This is really great quality and now I’ve saved about 70% of the space in my cupboard. Also handy that it is on wheels even though I’m only carting it around the house.
I had a small toolbox and 2 tool bags. I have been able to transfer everything into this toolbox and get rid of all the other. The added bonus of it being on wheels is a +. The only – is the fact there are only 6 small bays on the top for screws, nails etc, but I have just put the excess in some tubes so not too bad.
A very good toolbox
While it’s a good tool storage solution for home use it’s not really suitable for professional use.
It’s not really strong enough for everyday use.
So good I bought one for my younger brother to carry his fishing tackle in, although he could do with another yellow section, but can’t find it on Amazon, so, if anyone knows where I could get the middle section (yellow) would appreciate a heads up.
I use it for home DIY which is great holds all the tools I need keeps them nice and tidy all in one place and its a good design but I don`t think it is robust enough if you are in the building trade constantly using, opening and shutting it I think the clips on the side keeping it together in a stack are a little weak and probably let it down but for what I use it for (home use) its well worth the money I would buy again definitely.
They are reasonably well made for a mass produced plastic product. When stacked they have gaps between the layers at the sides which may be an issue for in-shed storage but not for me.
For the price I don’t think you can quibble and if you need pro level tradesmen tool chests, expect to pay a lot more. If you have collected quite a few tools and want to have a system that isn’t a single box of everything crammed altogether, for occasional use then this is your calling.
The clips work just as well as any other similar system I’ve used. The wheels and handle the same. The ability to hide the expensive tool you bought is possible.
Cons:
The useful portable tray where you would keep frequently used light tools is the middle section so essentially you have to completely disassemble the whole stack just to carry the tray with your screw drivers etc. but other than that no other real challenges.
It’s a bit smaller than expected, but more a deficiency on my enthusiasm to use a tape measure to understand how big it really is more than anything else but it’s not tiny and can hold a lot.
For the price I was happy with the product and can recommend for a DIY enthusiast and also for a tradesperson who has a lot of gear to manage and move. but is not expecting pro level gear.
The top bit you can click the handle in place to keep it upright when you’re pulling it on Wheels Top of box you got two little flaps that lift up got three little compartments on each side and the wheels are very easy to move the top section comes off you, got a yellow tray in the middle that’s got two sections we can put your various bits and pieces.
I got this because my friend has lots of DIY jobs that she wants done, I help with those until I got this chest I was taking things over in my hands and bags and now I’ve got this chest I put it all in there really across then it’s a lot easier so yes I’m I would recommend this ches
STANLEY STST1-80151 Essential Rolling Workshop – Black
I purchased the above, after being instructed by “she who must be obeyed” to sort all my tools out. When given such an instruction, you must be either brave or stupid to ignore it.
After looking at a number of options, I decided upon the Stanley, mainly because of the name, along with the reputation of producing good quality products.
I’m glad I did. It has 3 separate compartments for storage along with a tray insert and a number of storage compartments on the top.
The top has metal locking clasps, which are good. My only concern is the lower compartments have plastic clasps, which can come off. In addition although the is a space for a padlock on the top compartments, there is no way of securing the other 2. However, as this is for personal use, and not professional this isn’t really an issue for me.
In summary I am pleased with my choice, but would have preferred metal clasps on all compartments. I even purchased another 2 smaller Stanley Toolboxs to keep odd and ends, such as screws, nails, glue and tape etc.
