I’m very satisfied with this. It took me a while to put it together because of the angle of the screw threads. But I’m pleased with the hydraulic pressure. I was afraid it would be too easy and not provide enough resistance. But it does and I’m delighted. The base is very heavy and stable and it is the perfect low impact workout that I need.
It gives me the right leg work and I can feel that my lower tummy is tightening.
Best product ever!
Robusto , non cigola come glia altri e i pedali sono molto alti quindi si fa pi fatica ed quasi paragonabile a quelli usati in palestra. Molto ma molto soddisfatta
Amazing stepper with small footprint.
Mcanisme rsistant, mme sans en ajouter… il faut sans doute s’y habitue
Easy to assemble, I use it every day for 1/2 h
Very easy to put together! When I opened the directions and saw the word “explosion”, I panicked but there were very few actual parts and the small pieces were identified by each step, which was very convenient! Tool supplied. Nothing extra needed. I had an extra something left over, though. I’m a female senior and had no trouble. Works very well, good quality. QuietI really needed this.
The pedal resistance is high for my 135#, so pushing down with weak leg muscles has them hurting with fewer steps.
I’m up to around 50 steps each day and my legs are improving. Construction is solid, although the handle stand remains wobbly due to the very short main frame connecting tube.
I like the counter. The double direction foot movenent feels natural and benefits ankle rotation each step.
Handle grips feel good and give solid grip friction.
Operation is silent and like climbing a steep ascent with firm footing.
The stability on the floor is secure and no sense of tipping in use or while mounting. Ut may feel more tipsy on a deep pile carpet, but likely not.
It needs a perfectly level, flat floor.
Came yesterday incredibly well packed. Exploding diagrams not my thing! You Tube saved the day with their video which you can watch through then stop at each step to work through it. Easy peasy!
Gives your lungs and legs a good workout, start slow and build up. Good to have step depth to change and handlebar height change as I’m only short. Small footprint to store, seems well made. So far very pleased.
UPDATE: no guarantee in UK according to Sunny, disappointing! I was suspicious when I could find nothing in the manual. Hope it lasts as pleased so far.
I highly recommend this stepper
CON: there is no way short of removing the battery to set the counter back each day. It just keeps totaling it up day to day. I have read through the manual a couple times and did not see anything regarding this.
My only complaint is that it starts to squeak if I’m on it for more than 15-20 minutes. I’m nowhere near the weight limit, but this is definitely something you can only use for shorter periods of time.
Assembly of this is not as difficult as putting together an IKEA product, and they give you all the components to do so. I was hesitant to buy after reading some of the reviews of the stepper failing after a few months. If it does, I will update the review, but it’s been a week and it works well. One caveat: if you are a Canadian customer, you aren’t covered by the warranty. The main handlebar and adjustment knob did not thread together, so I contacted Sunny customer support via email. They always responded within 24 to 48 hours. They shipped me replacement parts for free, but I did have to pay for shipping. That was $55 CAD. However, they told me that Amazon would likely cover that cost within 90 days of original purchase date. I contacted Amazon support by phone, and they did refund me back on my original form of payment the shipping cost (without needing the invoice). But, you only have 90 days to do that. Even though two of the parts did not fit together (handlebars), I could use the machine until the replacement was sent, and it was an easy process to do it. It would not deter me from buying another Sunny product in the future. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.
Has anyone figured out the EXACT SPOT to spray it to solve this?? Mine is brand new and used 2x.
I took off stars because of the sound and there’s ONE bolt on the “tower” that wouldn’t align – the bolt facing the user – but since there’s 4 other bolts holding that vertical piece on I’m not worried it’s going to fall off.
I bought this mini stepper back in January or February, I used it a week daily only. I got lazy(why lie?) I have kids and it’s not easy, I have pain and inflammation on my knee with osteoarthritis and it’s been difficult. I barely started using it last week and I’m having fun!) I joined my very own Weightloss Challenge for 90 days and let’s see how it goes. I’m a 43 yr old woman/mommy and loving life!)
I Ioved my entire purchase. It arrived in great conditions. No missing parts. My husband helped me to assemble it and it wasn’t hard at all ; it only took him about 20-30 minutes. I try to use it daily for 10-30 mins. I subscribed to Sunny Health YouTube channel and found their video to workout. It is a simple exercising machine and I recommend it for anyone. The capacity is 250lbs and I’m at 210. I’m 5″7 tall. You start stepping, left, right, left and you feel the burn immediately on your legs. I liked the handlebars because balance is important for safety. The sensor that it comes with is very convenient for seeing how many calories you burn and time you exercise. (It does hiss a little bit and I heard somewhere not to use it for more than 30 mins). Just be careful. Overall a very nice exercise workout!
I’ve only had it for three days. I am 5′ 11″, 205 lbs., and 69 years old.
I had no problems putting it together; the base comes already assembled. The only assembly needed is with the vertical upright. I was very careful with the assembly instructions, and it took about 30 minutes to set up. But I went very slow. The equipment is made in China (imagine that!), so the instructions lack proper English, but they’re manageable. The front of the base has a knob that will adjust the tension. The stepper makes very little noise; it’s hardly noticeable.
The base is approximately 18″ by 18″.
Also, there’s nothing to plug in.
Before ordering, I thought that the handle would be too low for me, but it’s the perfect height. I have mine set at optimum height (same as in the picture in the ad).
Initially, I only took about 50 steps, and I was already breathing hard, so I got some rest. I felt that my leg muscles were receiving the exercise that I was looking for. Three days later, I’m doing 200 steps and then stopping. The air cylinders get pretty warm. I check the stepper every time I get off of it, looking for damage or anything loose. So far, everything is fine.
I’ve also discovered an added bonus: I can place my hands on the bottom horizontal part of the handle (grip tighly) and slightly lean forward while stepping. As I take the steps, I slightly push up on my upper body with my arms, causing my biceps, triceps, and chest muscles to also get a workout, along with my legs. I just have to be careful not to lean forward too much, so I won’t fall frontwards. So be very careful with this.
As mentioned above, I’ve only had this equipment for three days. But so far, I am pleasantly surprised. Turns out that it was exactly what I wanted. And the price is very reasonable.
UPDATE: I’ve had this stepper for almost 8 weeks. I have worked up to 3,000 steps a day. However, when I get near 700 steps, it begins to squeal. I’ve used different lubricating sprays, but the noise is still annoying. I finally found something that works: I place a small fan on the floor, directly in front of the red tension knob of the stepper. This cools down the bottom area, and that eliminates the noise.
I’m still satisfied with the purchase.
1. It’s a pain to assemble u have to get the the screws lines exactly right otherwise it doesn’t fit and it wobbles. After so many attempts I finally got it together
2. I’m not a hard-core gym rat but love to go. But let me tell u I felt the burn on my thighs which is great. Thus is perfect for me when I’m watching tv
3. I wish it also came.with hooks for resistance bands I had the assumption it came with the handle bars and hooks but it only came with the handle bars. I think if sunny health gave both options it would allow the user better range of having an arm workout as well using the bands in one machine.
Other wise an affordable product that works for my needs.
The good: Inexpensive for something that can get your heart pumping, takes up little floor space and is light enough to easily move around even to different rooms if desired. I also have a recumbent bike and 10 minutes on this will get my thighs more tired than the max resistance on the bike.
The not so great:
SHOULD be fairly easy to assemble but the tolerances are such that some bolts don’t align perfectly and are difficult to insert and turn.
There’s a supposed adjustment for the length of step but it doesn’t seem to make much difference; also there’s no resistance adjustment per se. Because the resistance is provided by air cylinders, they heat up and there’s a warning about not using for more than 15 minutes at a time so the cylinders don’t overheat.
All in all, not perfect but for the price a good, compact way of getting in some quick exercise.
