Summary. Good but listed at 130 this ought to be much, much better. This may be light weight but this doesn’t fit my specs for a travel dryer.

Please see my review in May 2022 of T3 Black Compact Hair Dryer. This was probably why the cookies in the Amazon account popped this T3 Fit onto the page to entice me.

Usually I buy small, light weight, multi-voltage, folding handle hair dryers because I live and work out of a bag for 6 to 9 months of the year. Also with few exceptions, most hair dryers for home use blows too much of a blast (therefore also too loud noise and too high pitch in that noise as the motor has to spind extremely fast to create that blast ) and / or the lowest heat setting is too hot. The exception was found in the 1990’s with Philips Silence 1500 but this ceased production eons ago.

For a dozen years leading to 2022 my partner burnt out 4 of my driers thus for the last two of those years I had been helping to hunt down a dryer for her use so as to avoid burning out all mine. Must have done internet reviews of 500 to a thousand and tried dozens whereever we could find them in walk-in stores even a few bought and returned through Amazon. The only brand we refused to consider was Dyson. (Wonder why he mega rich ?) After we tried salon grade GHD (Good Hair Day brand) then rejected straight away I told my partner there was only T3 Micro brand from USA to try left because there was nothing left. Not only is Dyson ludicrous pricing, but they lie about “Digital Motor” (there is no such thing) and the air blast would probably not what we want.

Joy o joy, the T3 Black Compact suited my partner so she would never burn out any more of mine. However, the blast, heat, noise of that model was still a touch too hot, too much wind and too high pitch for my liking. I could only stand the heat on the lower setting for 1 minute comfortably and by 2nd or 3rd minuted I would have to stop. Not even the cold shot did much good because that was even more of a blast (+more noise). I ask my hair dreser which hair dryer she uses in the salon who said just a decent 40 model (can’t remember which one) and which she knows burns out every couple of years. I tried that but again too much blast and heat at the lowest setting.

Gave up hunting a model for my own use at home until the Amazon cookies shown me the T3 Fit. Glad it did and due to its special price I bought it to try. Not much good reading reviews before deciding because of all the 10 reviews they were all Vine Voice Reviews. This fact alone ought to tell T3 Micro tha tthey have pitched their products at too high a price for the UK market.

So the first time in aobut 30 years there is a hair dryer I can use at home which has the low enough heat, low enough noise, and low enough blast as the Philips Silence 1500 (but that was less then 20) and thank goodness I had not let my partner use it so it can still be used to give me a side by side comparison. So what do you get for the extra money in the T3 Fit ?

For that price I expected multi voltage but there is none. It is only suited for 220-240v. I expected cleaver folding handle but it isn’t. Worse, the handle is placed similar to a club hammer instead of an axe – meaning even if you place it at the corner of a suitcase it still takes up more room than is necessary. By the way the T3 Afar multivoltage is not that much better even with its handle folded up because that is too big compared to my existing collection of travel dryers.

So what is good ? Guess the negative ions technology is but that wasn’t my problem in the first place. It does have a longer cable protecting boot. This IS important and shows T3 designers have been thingking about preventing the wear & tear caused to cable by too much flexing over time, i.e. it is a prevention of shorting caused by cable wear. The other good thing is cable is decent long at over 2.5m (US website quotes 9 feet). There is a cold shot button but I don’t like the implementation because it springs back into place; it is a toggle on then toggle off kind of button, but I prefer the button which you press and hold for a blast of cold air.

So why am I keeping this T3 and why I rate it 4 stars ? Quite simply there is no other dryer apart from a T3 which will have the low settings and low noise that I want. Further, I suspect that in modern day where glory and greatness is accorded to whichever product is fastest, hottest, that there won’t be a manufacturer willing to target a market for gentle heat, gentle air blast and low noise.

Do I recommend this T3 Fit ? Yes because although I use it at the lowest setting, there are 3 speeds and 2 heat settings plus cold button. I assume this must be a great dryer to dry babies and dogs. At the lowest setting I use it at, you are unlikely to cause harm to them either.

Good but Not £130 good. But buy it for animals, babies and fuss pot like me.

The T3 Fit Compact Ionic Professional Hair Dryer is an excellent option for anyone looking for a high-quality, professional-grade hair dryer that is also compact and portable. The dryer boasts advanced features such as ionic technology and multiple heat and speed settings, making it a versatile tool for a variety of hair types and styles.

One of the standout features of the T3 Fit Compact Ionic Professional Hair Dryer is its compact size. The dryer is lightweight and easy to handle, making it perfect for travel or on-the-go styling. Despite its small size, however, the dryer packs a powerful punch, with a 1600-watt motor that dries hair quickly and efficiently.

Another great feature of the T3 Fit Compact Ionic Professional Hair Dryer is its ionic technology. The dryer emits negative ions, which help to reduce frizz and static, leaving hair looking smooth and shiny. This feature is especially helpful for those with dry or damaged hair, as it helps to prevent further damage and breakage.

Apparently it’s a decent hair dryer, she’s been giving this a lot of use and she said it gets her hair dry but doesn’t get as hot as her other one.

It is though a good size to travel with

Seems pricey, but looks like it’s going to last the duration

    Highly recommended 10/10

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy wife has been using this hairdryer for about two months now – I feel with a product like this, it’s very important to get a good solid road test under your belt before passing judgement. She was comparing it to her existing (much cheaper) Babyliss 2400W hair dryer. So here’s what she thought:

    Things she liked:

+ Great design – compact and easy to take away with you.
+ Doesn’t get as hot as my other dryer – the children much prefer this one as it’s more comfortable to use.
+ Feels more gentle than my other dryer.
+ Much lighter and easier to handle than my other dryer.
+ Feels like a premium product.

    Things she didn’t like:

    – It takes longer than my other dryer to fully dry my hair – it’s not as powerful. Although this means it uses less electricity, this is evened out by the fact you have to use it longer.
    – Doesn’t have a hanging hook on it.
    – She can’t tell whether or not the ionic nature of this dryer is really making a huge amount of difference to the condition of her hair.

    Does she recommend it?

Yes, absolutely. She loves it! There are a few issues with it that are detailed above, but all in all, she’s really satisfied with it. She now has a two-dryer setup – she uses this dryer as much as possible, but if she needs some power when she’s short of time, she’ll get the old one out. Bear this in mind when deciding if this dryer is right for you.

It is a very good hairdryer. Slightly overpriced though.
Lightweight and compact but powerful with modern stylish look.
Simple high gloss white colour with gold pink details.
3 heating settings with 2 speeds and lock-in cool shot.
Drying hair fairly fast, leaving it smooth and shiny with less frizz.
Easy to hold in the hand and use. Not a bad noise level.
    Recommended.

    Compact and lightweigh

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe item arrived in a sleek box with an instructions booklet and an attachment included.
The hair dryer is white with rose gold coloured trim and buttons.
I find the item lightweight and easy to hold. The handle is longer than my previous dryer which I find very convenient. I never have an issue with accidentally pressing the buttons as I am using the product.
The cord is longer than my last dryer which again, is a nice feature.
This is definitely a lot quieter than my previous dryer and it dries my long, fine hair quickly.
I have actually found that my hair is less frizzy after using this.
In my opinion this is great quality, easy to use and saves me time.
At around 130 this is a premium dryer, but my results are excellent.

    Lightweight, dries my hair quickly.

This is a very light weight and beautiful hair dryer. It is smaller than the regular hair dryer. It dries hair smoothly and quickly. It has 2 speed and 3 heat settings. And a cool air button. Because of its small size it is easy to carry with you while travelling. I am 100% satisfied with the product.

As I was starting this review a line came into my head – When is a hair dryer not a hair dryer? When it is a T2 FIT Ionic dryer. And, for me, that little line has proven to be true.

I have always used hair dryers, as do most members of my family, and we all use different brands and sizes but, in the end, they are all basically the same, warm/hot air to dry hair fairly quickly and maybe add some style. However, this dryer not only looks and handles differently to a standard hair drier, its feels very different.

Badged as a Beauty Award Winner 2021, it is clear why this has proven to be a standout choice. The build quality looks awesome, especially with the striking rose gold trim, although when you get up close you see it is essentially a basic plastic construction. The difference is contained enclosed in the pretty plastic shell offering a mode of ionic drying which the seller describes as IonAir Technology. I have to say, having used this now on a very short hairstyle and a very long hairstyle, there really is a difference using this drier to using conventional driers. Even without attempting much by way of styling, the hair certainly appeared to have more volume and shine.

Given the enormous price for this I would have expected a far more “professional” gift box. It is sturdy enough and houses the contents securely (the plastic should be recycled) but, for me, a bit more attention could have been paid to presentation. However, that is just a little niggle from me, it doesn’t actually matter what the packaging of a product is like, it is the product itself that matters most.

This kit comes with the usual directional nozzle – quite stiff to put on and take off, I generally leave directional nozzles on all the time anyway. There are other accessories available to buy separately, such as a nice-looking diffuser and a hair brush. Given most people will already own their own preferred brushes and combs, I do feel that the diffuser attachment should have been included with this kit – it isn’t expensive to buy separately but I am sure that with a little though it could have been added and it would have made this a far more practical kit to buy, suited to a lot more hair lengths, types and styles.

I am not mentioning the price other than saying it is eye-wateringly expensive – mind you, I have often seen standard hair dryers coming close to this price simply because they have certain names painted onto them. For that reason alone, I am not saying this is over-priced, here you are getting what you pay for and you are getting far more than a “name” and more even than a standard hair dryer.

All in all I really did like this. As mentioned, I do feel the diffuser attachment should have been included in the price since many people would like to have it but, after buying the dryer, they might be loathe to spend even more money. If that diffuser had been included I am sure the price of this kit would have looked more attractive.

Aside from that I really couldn’t find anything to dislike about this. The head is small, it is reasonably lightweight, the handle section is far longer than any “compact” dryer I have ever seen but it feels good in the hand and the controls are easy to get at. My conclusion, then, is a clear 5 star recommendation.

T3 FIT Ionic Professional Hair Dryer - beautiful to use and to handle

This is an amazing hairdryer. It is well-made, compact, and has a quality feel. It looks good and stylish, with a smart white and rose gold trim. It is lightweight, easy to hold and comfortable to use. It comes with a directional nozzle, and although a diffuser is available, it’s not included. You have a choice of three temperatures, including a cool shot, and there’s two speeds.

A lot comes down to styling skill, and as I don’t have a lot of that, I wasn’t expecting much of a difference when using this dryer, but the results were surprisingly good. There was a lot more volume to my hair, increased shine, and less annoying fly-away strands too. It didn’t look exactly the same as when I’ve been to the hairdressers, but it really wasn’t far off. Now, I can’t tell if that’s down to the Ionic technology, or if it’s just because this dryer is smaller than my regular one, and therefore easier to handle.

At the time of writing this review, the cost is 121.31 on offer, with a regular price of 130.00, and that’s a lot of money, whichever way you look at it. For me, as much as I like this dryer, it’s only a dryer and the improvements that I can see are not enough to warrant the price tag. If you struggle with frizz, and this answers your prayers, it could well be worth it to you.

I found this to be an amazing hair dryer, first of all I really liked how easy it was to use. It’s lightweight so its very easy to hold and performances well with great heat/speed settings. It does a great job at reducing the frizz which is always a struggle. It’s a shame that it doesn’t come with an diffuser.

It is on the pricey side but does a great job.

Hope you found my review helpful.

I’d never heard of the brand T3 before this so wasn’t sure what to expect – I usually use a Babyliss 5223U which I’ve had since 2009 and I can definitely feel the difference dropping from 2000W to 1600W. The hairdryer itself feels really well made. I like the longer handle compared to the Babyliss and I’m not accidently pressing the coolshot. I like that the speed/temp buttons don’t move easily so they’re not going to be accidently changed. There’s something about the sound of the fan/motor that doesn’t make it sound as robust but maybe this is because it’s not as powerful. On the highest heat setting it does heat quickly (and even on first use didn’t have a smell to it) but it was slower to fully dry my hair – this could maybe be a good thing though in terms of maybe being less damaging. I can’t really say I noticed any difference in the finished result – my hair tends to be very straight/flat anyway rather than frizzy. My biggest point is probably the price point – my Babyliss was under 40 at the time and this is 121.31 at the moment and I just can’t see how it justifies the high price point – the features are no different – 3 heat settings and 2 speed settings plus the cool shot – exactly the same as the Babyliss. This one comes with a concentrator and there is a diffuser available to buy separately.

This really does have the look and feel of a salon hairdryer looking so sleek and then slick in use. It is very light and yet dries with power quickly and effortlessly. Heat settings allow for good styling and there really is no sign of any frizz. Love it.

I have bleached hair, So the top of my head tends to be oil heavy, Whilst the lower part of my hair is dry and frizzy. This cant be difficult to balance, even with shampoos and conditioners for each section. I found that my old hairdryer was not really helping matters, As the hot air frizzed the bottom of my hair, But worked well on my roots.

This ionic hairdryer is a lifesaver, As it takes out the frizz element of drying my hair. It dries my hair down to look sleek, And both my roots and ends match up to complete my look. Of course both my scalp and ends have to be washed with different care, But this hairdryer stops that frizz from developing when drying. Overall, A very good and compact for travel.
