I’m sure the product is great but I’ve come here to have a rant about the delivery driver. It was thrown over our fence into the middle of the garden and was broken when opened. Just ridiculous! We’ve ordered a replacement for tomorrow but there’s no telling whether they’ll do it again or not and there’s no proper customer service to explain. It’s not exactly the cheapest of items so I’d expect better.

Bought this as needed a full bottle feeding set quickly after not planning on bottle feeding. Didn’t know what we needed but the set had everything in it so was an easy single purchase.

Bought the set for reduced price of 49, don’t think I would be so happy with it if I had to pay the full price of 175.

I haven’t used it yet because I bought it for my sis and she doesn’t need it anymore but I just find out that I am pregnant so I will be using it myself but the baby is not here yet.

I found it useful but it stopped working automatically after first use. I now have press and hold the button for the first few minutes for it to stay on and sterilize.

In this set just the machine for sterilisation is ok and the bottles the rest is for nothing special the warmer is not good at all you can throw away because is not warmed up the milk

Still working after a year of use and have found the steriliser brilliant. So many people moaning about it turning brown and burning, I don’t think they realise you need to actually descale it once a week (I live in a very hard water area) and clean it out after every use- which really isn’t that hard (yes even with a baby!) Bottles have been fab, ordered some variflow teats which were able to use with these bottles, I cannot say anything bad about it at all!

Although it arrived a day late, I was able to check the contents of the box and they were all intact. I can say it’s one of the most important purchase I made as I am a first time mum and would like to give the best for my first born.

I have always used avent but thought i would try change to tommie tippie with my baby boy.Works really well only issue i have is that it needs descaling more or less after every other use.

I ordered this and the steriliser burnt out (seen in first photo) after 3 uses.
I contacted Tommee Tippee they replaced it, no issues they said it shouldn’t be burning out like that.. especially after 3 uses
Amazon sent a new one out next day. Lovely.
New one come it burn out EVEN WORSE AFTER 1 USE! And this time it stinks of burning and all the bits and bobs are all smelly! Tommee Tippee now are saying this is fine and normal and I should be descaling it after every use!

This is absolutely outrageous how they think it’s acceptable to have products which do this and because they replaced one it’s now my fault and won’t send a new one out again.

Very disappointed in them! I found a Facebook page today which had over 200 comments in 20 minutes stating many other people had the same issue and sent it back and moved away from them!

I’m hoping Amazon will return it so i can buy a new one else where! Not happy!

AVOID - steriliser burns after 1-3 uses.

This is a great product for sterilizing and storing bottles, only main downside to it is the cleaning/drying of the trays and the base can be tedious. The small heating plate in the bottom is awkward to get in the corners of for cleaning the limescale away.

It arrived in a plain brown box, we were expecting an inward box with the Tommee Tippee logo’s and details of what would be in there. There was no inner box, it was just laid out within the outer box. OK I suppose for your own use but looks cheap as a present.

This is a great product and an updated version of the previous steriliser we had used and loved with our previous 3 children. The key with this product is to learn the ins and outs of maintenance, such as descaling as and when needed so the element doesn’t get dirty and therefore becomes ineffective and could break. Also to always double check the bottles that have been sterilised are clean and have condensation in them from the machine getting up to temperature. Occasionally I have found that I have had to refill the water and sterilise again for peace of mind but that may just be because baby brain making me forget I’ve done the full cycle correctly. Overall this is a great product, easy to use, doesn’t look ridiculous on the kitchen side, and manages to fit in a good amount of bottles and dummies. The bottle warmer isn’t something we’ve used before but I can see the benefits of this is your child/baby likes the milk to a certain temperature, this is also very user friendly and easy to use. The milk storage pots are fantastic for going out and about, and can be stored effectively inside the bottles also. We’ve always had no problems with the tommee tippee bottles themselves, easy to clean and sterilise. We have sometimes through trial and error with our second child that suffered from colic had to trial the different sized teats that were on offer but we never found we had to swap brand or bottles. The teats are also delicate so be aware when washing especially as they get a lot of use they can deteriorate but this is only over time, and worse with the varied flow due to the style of how the cross in the teat is cut. I’ve seen a few bad reviews about this machine stopping working or smelling bad but honestly the key is making sure it has enough water in the bottom for each cycle and making sure it’s cleaned and descaled regularly we have known so many people to never actually descale their machine and wonder why it breaks, much like a kettle the limescale can build up and needs removed. We love this product, would purchased again and again and always recommend!

I cant imagine my bottle cleaning routine without this steam steriliser. It fits alot inside it and is easy to use. Not as fast especially if u added too much water. The bottles are more than you will need for one baby. However I did have to go and buy the advanced anti colic valve ones for a while. Now that baby is older, back to these. I use the bottle warmer on the daily. Only issue is, it’s easy to forget it running. The transport pouches are quite important to keep milk warm on the go. Honestly this set is the perfect gift and I cant imagine the cost and hassle of buying everything separately. My only gripe with this set is that there’s always a few drops of milk left in the end of the feeding bottle that you cant get out due to its shape. But with quite a bit of angualtion and experimentation we found a way to make it trickle down to the nipple. (I’m not about to throw away even one drop of my expressed milk!). I know that this device will be a bit bulky on my countertop in a smaller kitchen, and due to the bottle shape they take up space to store and transport.

I got this as a gift for my sister for her first baby and my first niece or nephew when looking at the reviews I was abit unsure and the price was same as ordering from the actual Tommee tippee site so I took my chance I wanted to check it out myself to make sure all in working order I didn’t get the chance to wait till the light switched it self off. When removed the access of hot water and waited for the heat plate to cool I noticed the heat stain that everyone was talking about on the reviews I only had it heating for few mins and that is how it turned out am abit concerned that it will get worse and I wasted 64 pounds and have to buy another I’ve used tommee tippee with 3 of my children and I’ve not been let down once by the products everything else I have no concerns of cause everything is great.

I’m not reviewing the bottles as midwifes advised against TT bottles/teats.

The steriliser though is great, easy to see how much water you need to add and although designed to hold 6 bottles (4 parts each) I’ve managed to fit (big squeeze) 8 bottles which split into 6 pieces each.

I didn’t like it at first as bottles were left wet after sterilising cycle but I’m told this is normal and perfectly ok to just reassemble bottles and store them away.

Really useful and well worth the cost considering the alternative ways to sterilise bottles

This does exactly what it says on the tin and it is fantastic, but there is one serious flaw with product…it does not alert you when it fails to reach temperature! In example, i would load the steamer with bottles, press the button and walk off, while it did its thing. I was confident of its operation, having watched it a few times, when i first got it. However, one day, I noticed that there was some scaling on the heat plate (normal for a hard water area), but i was unaware that the machine was not reaching temperature (due in part, we think, to needing a clean). The machine will not function properly if the cleaning routine is not strictly followed. Now, we could get into “it’s my fault for not cleaning frequently enough”, although a visual check, did not warrant a clean. The complaint here, is that the machine does not warn the user that there is a problem…so users may be unwittingly feeding from bottles, that have not been sterilized properly. Given the potential consequences of doing so and the main aim of the product, it is super important that you clean regularly and frequently check that machine is working properly…don’t just press the start button, assume its working and walk away. Once i discovered the flaw, i simply cleaned regularly and make a point of spot checking its function. So, great product, but could have a safety layer added.
