For added convenience there is no need to use bottled or filtered water in the Perfect Prep machine. Our filter features a filtration membrane designed to remove bacteria, impurities, and contaminants that can be found in water. Water passes through an anti bacterial filter to ensure it is clean and safe just like boiled water from a kettle. Your filter will last up to 3 months* and the digital screen will let you know when it needs changing.

Anti bacterial filter
From the outside, the Perfect Prep anti bacterial filter may look a lot like other water filters, but it is the internal anti bacterial membrane that makes the difference.
Other standard water filters do not include this anti bacterial system so these will NOT remove bacteria. When tested against other competitor water filters, our filter produced the clearest results. To be sure you are protected from bacteria, it is important you use our anti bacterial filters in your machine.
Easy to clean
The machine features a warning light that prompts you to run a cleaning cycle. We recommend you carry out this cleaning cycle every 4 weeks, whenever you replace your Tommee Tippee water filter or if the machine has been unused for a period of 7 days.

So I bought into the hype and bought a perfect prep and it really is very good. It makes preparing bottles so quick and easy. No faffing about. It’s quite compact so doesn’t take up too much room. I like it a lot and would recommend to anyone bottle feeding.
The reasons I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is because it really is very expensive, and for us personally it would be fantastic if it prepared smaller amounts. The smallest amount it prepares is 4 oz.
I would advise anyone who buys a perfect prep to do a test run (without milk) as the first time I used it the end product was far too hot. The temperature on the 2nd attempt was perfect and it has been ever since.
Very simple to use, bottle in 2-3 minutes. I assumed that the noise would be minimal but when the machine adds water to the bottle it is so loud. If you had this in your room with a sleeping baby nearby I’m sure they would startle or wake. As I have mine in kitchen that’s not a problem but I was surprised by the noise.
I had the previous model with my first daughter and loved it so didn’t hesitate to order another. Unfortunately I bought this product back in January and only just had my baby now in April so can’t return but have taken it out the box and front is all scratched in a number of places which is really disappointing. Wish I’d of checked it when it was delivered so I could’ve returned it. If anyone from customer services could contact me about this that would be appreciated.
This is an absolutely essential product if you’re formula feeding, I don’t know how we would’ve maintained our sanity without one haha. Saves all that fussing around waiting for the kettle to cool down. Ultra ultra easy to use, no matter how sleep deprived you are – it was clearly designed with this in mind! Easy to clean, just run a clean cycle with hot water once a month.
This product is an absolute essential for any new parents. I have used the cheaper variant of this product before and this newer version is much improved. Firstly, there is no loud beeps which are particularly annoying during night feeds.
Secondly the design is a lot more rounded which allows for easier cleaning. It also looks good too.
The product is easy to use and gives step by step instructions on the screen.
Amazing when you need to have the milk ready ASAP. Easy to clean and to use. Not so silent as described.
Only tried with 2 scoop sizes (4 and 5 oz) and it looks like it doesn’t add enough water to make 180 ml (on the 5oz option). I will keep an eye on it, but other than that, great little helper.
I would be so lost without this machine. Takes away any of the faff that comes with trying to sooth a crying baby while a bottle cools.
Very very easy to use, just follow the instructions on screen. This is the same for any of the cleaning cycles it tells you what you need to do at each stage.
I keep the volume off as I found the beeping rather annoying.
Makes formula perfectly. Easy set up (plug in and the screen tells you what to do), and to use (again just follow the screen). You’ll need to change from US oz to ml (otherwise feed will be wrong size) but it takes 2 minutes. Yes, you can make that night feed in just a few minutes!
Best thing I bought. So handy and a must have for bottle fed baby. Only down side is you can’t use from birth as it’s from 4oz (uk) and up
Absolutely love this & don’t know what i would do without it! Gone are the days of making bottle feeds the traditional way & waiting ages to cool down all whilst your baby is screaming for a feed. Highly recommend it!
So easy and quick to use.
Crying baby fed within seconds, no messing about.
If you have twins this is especially good as if the second baby starts to cry while already breast feeding the first you can do the whole process one handed.
But there is still room for improvement! I think they’re overpriced for what they are, and they’re quite noisy – enough to wake up someone else in the house sleeping on another floor in fact! Let alone a sleeping child.

We went ahead and purchased it, we make sure we clean it regularly – which is easy to do. This machine is a life saver for night feeds, our little one wouldn’t wait half an hour for the kettle to cool down for her bottle at 3am, she would scream bloody murder
Overall we are happy with it, the bottle temperature is fine and our little one is eating well and putting on weight so it can’t be all bad
First thing I had to get it replaced as the other prep machine wasn’t giving out the right amount of water. But I love this prep machine more than the older version and the older version was good too. Very easy to use. The screen gives you step by step instructions everytime, probably good if your half asleep doing it. So much quicker than using a kettle.
I also use self sterilising mam bottles with the prep machine and have no leaking or anything.
Only purchased in April.
Life saver. Gone from trying to cool bottles in the sink at 3am to making bottle with this machine in literally a minute. Easy to clean, which Ive been doing weekly and filter is easy to change, I’ve been doing that monthly. Ignore the horror stories about these, just clean regularly.
amazing. Don’t think about it, buy it if you value your sleep. For our first child we spent ages getting a feed ready with boiling water, then letting bottle cool, or carefully tritrating cold water to get the perfect temperature!! All the while the munchkin is waking up the neighbours and their dogs with her wailing!! With this and our 2nd lil one, all set in 2 minutes and baby quietly feeding away happy, and our neighbours don’t hate us! Buy it, at least to appease your neighbours if not for your sleep!
This was a gift for my daughter who has just had her baby.
She is using it all the time and has not reported any problems with it so I must assume it’s all fine and meets her expectations!
This is so much easier than using a kettle and jug of water. The only negative is the accuracy you ask for say 150ml you get about 160-170 but we can love with that.
Great item. Started out boiling a kettle but was hard work. Someone recommended this item and it is definitely a lifesaver as it makes it so much easier especially in the nights! Works well and easy to use
PS Cleaning and descaling take about 30 mins so be prepared for that when you start. You need to be with the machine while it’s going through the process. Also if descaling you need 500mls of white vinegar so make sure you have it at home.
My best purchase ever. Of all the baby products I have bought, this has made life the easiest. No waiting time for bottle cooling, easy to use, quick, really convenient. Have even packed it when staying away overnight because it makes feeding so straightforward. Highly recommended!
Love this machine. I have used it non stop since I stopped breastfeeding. So easy to clean, so fast and convieniant. Bottles made perfectly to the correct temperature. My local baby shop still doesn’t have this digital model. Highly recommend.
we have two twins one month old. And to prepare two bottles at the same time in the night it’s very hard… we have to arrange six milk bottles per night.
We bought this device and really it can be really helpful in order to simplify the life while babies are crying in the deep night for hungry. It’s very fast, simple and easy to use… and with accurate water dosage for quantity and temperature.
Unfortunately the item received have a water losses from the bottom, and in the morning we found the tank empty and kitchen flood.
But even after just one night it has become indispensable!!! Therefore i already asked for replace the defective one with a new one, and hope it can be replaced asap!!!
Just hope that next one could me more reliable as built quality…. and without water loss.
Life saver. Is fast and easy to use. The only issue is that it shows from time to time that the temp of the thank is to high but it can be solved if u add water from the fridge in the tank.
Great!! The only problem is that now in UK that’s 30 degrees it gives a message of hot tank, so I need to add some ice inside to cool the thank but apart from that all great!
