This drone is really good value for money, it’s not very expensive but does everything you need from a Drone, so perfect for kids or beginners. The drones instructions are very clear and easy to follow. You get 2 batteries which is great so while flying using one you can charge the other. The drone is quite simple to control, having said that there have been quite a few bangs but it seems robust and can take a few heavy knocks. There is a battle mode which sounds fun so ideal for kids to play together but you will need a friend to have another drone to have a battle. Overall really impressed and would recommend.
Fairly cheap this has a range of features that are fine for a starter set up. Handset, home, flip and auto functions and the ability to connect your smartphone and link to the camera of the drone. It’s a mini drone, so could be used inside more than outside. Good to get kids to learn how drones work and practise the controls. Outside, I’d only use in very still, calm conditions.
I heard man never grows, maybe that os true because I love playing with this Tomzon P7 Mini Drone with 1080P Camera together with my kids, it has been full of funny and little crazy moments playing together using this Tomzon P7 Mini Drone with 1080P Camera.
I would say the price and quality are balanced it is a good present for crazy parents that never grow like me and great present for kids, overall it will provide a lot of enjoyable moments and memorable experience for you and for them.
This is a nice and simple drone to get started with.
The instructions are clear and the controls are pretty straightforward. You’ll get a cutout which you can leave on the controller to help you to remember how to fly it.
You get two batteries and a spare set of blades which is nice. The batteries last a few minutes each which is about normal for one of these size drones.
You can fly the drone from your phone and use the camera. The app is pretty good and easy to use and I didn’t find any problems using it.
Akers quality is average but its a small drone, you can’t expect 4k or anything.
Overall an excellent drone to get you started or just to have a little fun with.
Beginner friendly, and really easy to use. Auto take-off and landing make it super easy to do. Great fun in the house. I’ve hit a few things and it’s still in perfect condition. It has a 1080P HD camera but it’s not good quality. It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. Great for beginners.
Excellent Starter, drone it’s a bit fiddly to connect but once you’re connected it’s great.
This is great for anyone, starting out on a new hobby or for your kids to start out.
It comes well packaged. You can also add another drone and have a fight battle mode.
The remote control that comes with it is excellent. Connect to your phone and control it that way which is even better I think it seems more responsive
20 mins time on each battery, so it comes with two so that’s very handy
Overall Lots of fun and a great kit worth the money I think
I have struggled to use drones in the past as I am someone with a lack of coordination. The one push take off and landing button is a great invention. The trim needs some adjustment at the start as it tends to drift. The camera is easy to operate and it comes with two batteries that charge very quickly and battery life is not an issue. It is a very light drone and can take quite a lot of abuse in crashes. The only negative comment that I would make is the noise that it makes. It sounds like a swarm of wasps when it is in an enclosed space and it has a very annoying pitch.
I recently received this Tomzon P7 Mini Drone which I got as a starter for me and my grandkids to play with. This mini drone is very easy to use and understand, with its throw-to-go capability making it simple for even a novice like me to get the hang of. The elevation hold capability keeps it stable which allows it to catch a wide field of view and the low battery feature helps landing securely and distance checking insures that it’s consistently monitoring, which is pretty much why it’s so good for us. There is a lot of functionality included with this drone, the custom way flight, gravity sensor control, and 360 flip just to mention a few. As for security and fly time, it has refreshed insurance watches on the propellers to confidently navigate a steady and safe flight. The inclusion of two batteries is great which are supplied each provide approximately 20 minutes of fly time, and the crisis stop button guarantees that the drone is generally taken care of.
Overall, this is a fun small-scale piece of kit for both novices and youngsters and has given us a couple hours of good fun so far.
Got this as a Christmas present for my son and as a beginner he operated it with ease!
Thebatterylifeis about as advertised and the controls are very responsive. Have not had a chance to hook up a phone with the camera but look forward to trying it out.
All in all this is a great little drone for the money. Very durable as we’ve crashed a few times and it’s still working perfectly. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a starter drone.
This arrives in a neat white box with a poto of the drone on the front measuring approx 25.5cm x 19cm x just over 7cm.
It would be easy to wrap & make a great starter drone with a camera built in for anyone (recommended for age 14 or over) interested in having a go.
The drone is very small & lightweight, can be launched by throwing it up & can be used (without the camera) without being connected to your smartphone.
For the camera, you will need it connected & you can then choose to either use the included controller or use your phone to control it.
The drone arrives encased in moulded plastic so it’s in great condition & comes with 2 tiny batteries, both of which will need charging before you start although they do charge fairly fast.
Each battery will last around 20 minutes, so you can have one being used while the other is charging.
It comes with a charging lead.
You need to download an app (from the Play or Apple Store) which was straightforward, but I really had a hard time getting the app to connect to the drone.
I kept getting messages to say I didn’t have the internet enabled but then it just randomly decided that it was enabled really (it was always enabled).
This is fairly simple to use & suitable for flying inside even quite a small house.
It comes with a handy cardboard guide on the controller to tell you what each button does which seems a bit complicated at first but you can get the basics very quickly & go from there.
It also comes with some spare blades & a little tool for changing them if one should somehow get broken.
The included user manual comes in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian & Japanese.
The remote takes 3 AAA batteries which were included.
This was fairly good fun for the short time I got to try & use it.
My son assures me I lack the skill to safely use it & I’d break it if I tried more complicated manoeuvres so he has kindly taken it off my hands & I only see him when he comes back to swap out the batteries.
Meanwhile I’ve had to ban him from flying it into my room unless I’ve made the bed so nobody finds out I don’t always keep it as tidy as I should.
He likes to send it off to the kitchen to find out what I’m cooking for dinner too.
Luckily it doesn’t have audio, so he has to keep his complaints to himself if I cook too many vegetables!
This has now been a source of entertainment for a few weeks, even over Christmas when new presents had appeared, so I think it’s something which will get lasting use, rather than a gadget to be abandoned on a shelf after one afternoon.
It’s not suitable for outside in more than a gentle breeze, so if you are looking for a drone to fly over the rooftops, this is not the one for you.
With 2, you can have drone battles, but we only have one for now.
I am considering getting a second.
Pretty happy with this.
Had this drone two weeks now, was new to the drone scene but it was not very hard to learn. Looks very smart, Small yet powerful, 2 batteries is terrific.
Has many great features for an entry level product, the controls are really easy to use and master, throw to go. The build quality is amazing and the software is brilliant. Decent camera and excellent stabilisation!
The 1080p camera is amazing it captures unreal video and pictures. Its steady in strong winds, easy to control and there is no shake on the steady camera.
The drone is worth the money espically for a new pilot like my son, a good drone to start with.
This is just the perfect little drone for a beginner – and that is very much me. It comes well packaged with everything you will need in the box. I do mean everything from two batteries, to a ready-assembled drone and even the screwdriver for removing the cover to the battery compartment on the remote. The controls are very easy and the one-stop take-off and landing function is perfect for anyone who panics when it takes off. Once you have it up to waist height you can play with the two sticks and functions which are easy to use and give you control very quickly.
There is an app ou can use to control the whole thing from a phone if you prefer and that is quite helpful as well, Instructions are super clear and accurate and in clear and accurate English
Honestly you wont do better than this as a first timer or even casual flye
This is a nice little mini drone for kids or beginners. It comes with 2 batteries which give you 20 minutes of flying time once fully charged. These are supplied with a USB charging cable. There are spare propellers and the tools to fit them. The controller needs 3 AAA batteries (included) and is much the same size and shape as a PS4 controller which makes it good for adults as well. I liked the card template supplied with the controller to get you started.
The drones special feature is the 360 degree flip which is easy to pull off and the battle mode but this really needs another drone so that they fight each other.
The P7 Mini Drone was quite straight forward to fly and the sticks responded well. The drone was stable in the air and responsive.
This Tomzon P7 Mini Drone also comes with a 1080P camera. To use this function the drone connects to your smartphone through the ‘Tomzon Toy’ app which is a free download from your favourite app store. Your smartphone then becomes the controller and you can take photos and video. While this is very clever I didn’t find it that easy to do without practice as you are trying to watch the drone and your phone screen at the same time.
As a beginner drone I think this is quite good and I would be happy to recommend it to you.
This is a very user-friendly and wonderful little drone for beginners like myself. It really makes a great introduction into learning how to fly. I find that this is best suited for indoor use but, of course, it can also be used outdoors on a nice (not windy) day.
Operating it is pretty simple and straightforward. The multifunctions work very well such as the 360 degrees flip, high-rotation, circle fly, the custom flight path, headless mode, battle mode, etc. All of the propellers are fully encased, so you don’t have to worry about causing any damage to them.
This drone has a small on-board 1080P HD camera which you link to your mobile device via an app and the in-built Wi-Fi. The resolution is good enough and gives you the opportunity to learn how to hold the drone steadily to take nice photos and/or videos.
The battery life is adequate and you get an extra rechargeable battery for the drone for an extended flying time, which is great. You also get 3 AAA (non-rechargeable) batteries for the controller.
Overall, this is a great drone that seems sturdy and good quality. I am really pleased at how easy it is to use it. I think this is competitively priced at 59.99 (price at the time of writing this review). Great find and highly recommended!
Initially I found this drone quite hard to connect to the controller but once I’d managed and started to use it, it was really good fun. The controls seemed to work better on my phone than they did when using the joystick, in that it seemed as if there was a slight delay before the drone would respond – this tended to make me overcompensate. I’d say that this could be quite challenging for a beginner asthe drone doesn’t quite hover stably enough to control straight away, but it does geteasier with practice. I think that it will take a while to get used to all of the controls as there are plenty of them.
The fighting function is fun, however you will obviously need to buy a second drone in order to actually use it.The camera / video function works well for the price, but it is a little grainy. The dronecomes with two battery packs so you can use one whilst the other is on charge, as well as replacement blades in case you damage one.
All in all this is a fun drone with a lot of features for the price, just persevere and you’ll master it – happy to recommend.
My daughter is excited about the battle mode! Couldn’t wait to get started, the camera is good fun on this, it has presence when using with the classic drone noise, it’s fun to use, easy to set up with batteries included, spare parts also, it’s relatively easy to operate with practice, it has a really good instruction card that sits over the top of the remote whilst you get used to using this I think this has made a big difference in getting up to speed with using, easy to connect the camera to your phone, will be great to use in the summer filming the dogs running across the fields from an aerial view will be awesome, my daughter is also enjoying the option to spy on us all round the house, a great gift for any age, feels a good size to us as I know it’s described as compact, it’s fab
This little drone is an enormous amount of fun! It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for extended flying time. It has a 1080p HD camera which you can view live via the app, and enables you to capture stills and record video. The altitude hold button means you can keep it stable to capture the view you want too, which is very handy! Because to be fair it really did take a bit of getting used to! My daughter seems much more capable of operating it more steadily. Oh, and the flips are hugely entertaining! Apparently, you can also hook up another drone for battle, which sounds lilt great fun!
For our first experience of drones, I have to say this was brilliant. The adults and children alike have enjoyed using it, and I definitely recommend!
My fourteen year old boy has had a lot of fun playing with this drone.
3D flip
battle mode
headless mode
3 speeds
batteries included
1080P HD Camera
around 20 times fly time on a full charge
This drone would make a nice Christmas gift for a teenager or even an adul
I like that it’s small and compact, comes with tools, spare blades, batteries for remote, 2 batteries for the unit so can charge one while using the other.
It’s easy to set up and get going. Actually controlling it was a bit tricky for me at first. But getting the hang of it now.
Not a crazy long battery life. Has lots of features.
Main reason I got it is cos my cat keeps fighting with a neighbourhood bully and often outta sight or outta reach. Figured this would be great to find them, and break them up by flying it near.
Ironically, since I’ve got better at lying it, he’s not had any fights. But testing it round the house, scares the bejesus outta my cat. So I have high hopes it’ll distract the cats from fighting if I can get it nearish.
My husband loves it, and my niece had a lovely time flying it round the house when she came by the other day. So good for small and big kids alike
Very affordable, little drone, It responds well to controler, its fairly easy to get the hang of. The kids love playing with it.
This will make some boring winter days a lot more fun. Great as Christmas present.
The good:
Blade protection
Sharp camera
Long battery life
Lightweight drone
Well designed functions (spin mode, battle mode, levelling, “headless”
Good flip out middle phone holder (doesnt need additional kit)
Rechargeable drone battery
The middle:
Needs 3 AAAs (but theyre provided)
Drone battery has unique charger (but two batteries provided)
Trim is not effective (but very incremental)
Speed controls are not obvious (but big steps between for quick changing)
The bad:
Difficult to use via phone controls
Can’t do stunts easily
Isnt very stabel
Sound from controller sounds cheap
Auto landing can be very aggressive
No case provided
My initial reaction to this drone was WOW. Having opened it and charged the batteries and had it trialed by my Grandson who is absolutely delighted with it my opinion is till the same WOW!
It can be used in battle mode (so he tells me) takes off and lands with ease and can be held in the air. The speed can be increased or decreased with the aid of a switch on the control and he loves it. An early Christmas present and several brownie points for me! A great piece of kit for under 60.00. I highly recommend.
I got this drone from Amazon Vine Program and I am satisfied with the quality of the product. The headless mode and altitude hold features make flying easy even for beginners like me.
With the help of 1080P HD camera on drone, you will get very clear images and videos. Overall, I am very pleased with this drone and would recommend it.
In the box:
-Flying eye
-2 Smart Battery
-Extra Blades (2 sets)
– Drone Charger
-User guide
-3xAAA Batteries
-Dron Control Console
-Screwdriver
Thank you.
This is a brilliant beginners front to buy as a first drone for a child or just to have fun with.
My cat is obsessed and sits by it, pawing it to wake it up while staring at my other half because she knows she needs him to fly it. I’ve added the picture of the cat to give a sense of scale.
The video I’ve put on is My other half’s first attempt at flying it without even reading the instructions. I thought he’d find it much harder simply because we have a dji mavic that practically flies itself.
Despite being used to a far more advanced drone, my other half has loved playing with this one. We haven’t used it for filming, but once we do and get some footage I will add it to the review. The camera images looked halve decent on our mobile though. Not the quality of an expensive drone, but definately good enough for what this would be used for.
The controller has a phone mount and despite the many options shown on the controller instructions, he was able to intuitively get it to control the drone. It even flips, which you can see towards the end of the video.
The prop guards allow Id to keep flying when it hits something which is good, the wind that comes off it is surprisingly strong. I really think this would make a great starter drone, or just be a fun item for anyone who loves messing with remote controlled things.
