Just ordered a replacement of same item from another source. That should tell you the pumps works great, until it doesn’t. Have a leaky internal seal after a year and a half of hard use. So the pump is great but it did fail on us. Found it just now online for 50% of this current $200 Amazon price. You won’t seal tubeless super easy like you would with a air compressor. But if you know your stuff, use plenty of soapy water, you’ll get a seal using the max booster setting.
A big, robust track pump with an easy-to-read gauge, and the added feature of compressing a separate storage tank so you can suddenly pop a tubeless tyre into place. This pump does the job with ease. It might seem expensive but the build quality is really solid – not some flimsy little plastic thing. I’m very happy with it. One little quibble is that there aren’t instructions for the switchable Presta/Schrader head – if you haven’t used one before, it might be a puzzle.
Mein erstes mal mit Tubeless. Bisher Tubolito Schluche. Dimension 27,5×2,6 Zoll. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
Perfect. Works first time on used tubeless tyres which wouldn’t seat with a standard track pump or CO2.
I like the ease of use, excellent, solid quality, long hose. It felt like a pump that will last.
The two issues I had – firstly the connecter onto the valve is a ‘smart’ connector and I spent some time fiddling around with it until I realised it automatically fits both types of valves. This was me being slow but the instructions could have been clearer.
The second issue was the difficulty in mounting the tyre on the wheel. It wasn’t strong enough to blast air into the new tyre. I eventually took out the valve completely and blasted air into to tyre and it snapped into the rim. Lesson learnt – the pump is strong enough but the presta valve is the bottleneck. If you can’t seal the ture onto the rim take out the valve then once it’s seated you can screw in the valve, pour in the sealant and inflate normally.
This pump gas some great features. Large indicator, lots of air on each stroke. Nice stroke action, nice multin head to attach to either Presta or Schrader. Handy button to depress air. Long hose to reach the wheels easily when in a stand.
Super simple to charge the resivoir and release to send a gush of air to seat tubeless tyres.
My only issue is that I feel perhaps the resivoir could be larger, on one set of tyres I really struggled to get them beaded and they were half seated to begin with. Whether it was because these were 29ers or because they were used tyres, or just a particularly difficult set I’m not sure. It’s been fine on others though.
Easy to use. Simple instructions and very robust. Effective and worked very well with my road bike tubeless tires. Solid build quality, so expect this to last the test of time.
Build quality is excellent, and very sturdy. Been after one for some time now, and to be honest, I don’t know why I waited. Time will tell if it lasts, but so far so good.
I was struggling to get my tubules tyres to pop on with a normal track pump, did some research and found this well reviewed, the high pressure chamber worked well to get that extra pressure into the tyre to get it to pop on albeit with 2 or 3 attempts.
The only aspect I struggled with was the inflator attachment itself, needs a firm push to get it down far enough to latch correctly, once I figured this I was happy.
I brought this pump as I was doing a tubeless setup on my bike. It’s not the cheapest air blast pump, but it does get the job done of seating your bike tyre beads. It does seat the rim first time but gove it 2 or 5 goes and you’ll hear and know when the bead had set. I think it was well worth the extra money to have the charge included with the pump, it’s a lot more convenient than buying a separate air tank to still fill up with air. Just normal inflating a tyre with the correct tyre pressure take seconds. Obviously you can’t take it on your bike ride with you but still a nice and great pump to use at home or in your ca
I tried reinflating my wife’s bike tires with a standard pump. No chance. I went through three CO2 cartridges, even removing the valve core. No luck. So in desperation I bought the Joe Blow Booster. Utter failure. At that point I took the wheel off and removed the tire – finding a massive hole in the rim tape. Bit bummed that I’d spent so much on something it appeared that I didn’t really need. Once I fitted new tape and replaced the tire with fresh sealant and a little soapy water on the bead – instant success. So much easier than a standard pump and less wasteful than CO2 cartridges, although I suppose you would need to go through quite a few to break even. So yeah – even though my failure with the first attempts were totally due to the punctured rim tape, the convenience once it was repaired has me totally sold on the pump. It’s just really satisfying dumping all that air into the wheel in one go after charging it up.
After hours of frustration before purchasing. The job was all done within 5 mins of opening the door to the delivery driver.MONEY WELL SPENT.CHUFFED TO BITS !!!!
Really well designed, best pump I’ve ever owned. I particularly found the length of the hose brilliant, it’s so long, I can pump up tyres when my bike is still hung up. Really pleased I will no longer require CO2 valves and the barrel is so large, it beats my foot pump for my van.
Solid bit of kit, why didn’t I buy one sooner!
I had no end of problems trying to get tubeless tyres to seat and seal using a track pump. This did a brilliant job of getting them to work. The pressurised reservoir allows you to blast a lot of high pressure air in in one go and get the tyres onto the rim.
Bought when i was going tubeless on my gravel bike. Everything i have bought from Topeak is top quality, nice and sturdy, easy to use especially when trying to seat the tyre on the rim and need many hands.

ideal for tubeless

I’m very happy with my purchase. I only need to seat tubeless Mountain bike tires. I do not need compressed air for any other reason. An air compressor would have been just as (if not more) costly than a booster pump and it would take up more space in my garage. This pump is extremely well built and seats tires reliably and easily. There is also far less risk that I am going to blow a tire off my rim, potentially ruining my wheel and spraying sealant everywhere. If you have other reasons to use an air compressor it may be more cost effective to go that route, but if you’re just trying to change your tires without the help of a shop then this pump is a better option. It’s also a better option if your space is limited. It is also a more portable option if you want to take some tools with you on your cycling vacation.
Blown away by Joe and his blow. Hours spent trying to seat tubeless tyres are a waste of your time. Get a big bad Joe and the whole process of whipping off an old tyre and sticking on a new takes 5 minutes. Best 120 you’ll ever spend.
This is a very good tubeless tyre & track pump, very nicely made full alloy construction & easy to use, the dial is bang on accurate.
Seated my tubeless tyres first time.
Great product, and has transformed my workshop experience with tubeless tyres. One full charge seats the tyres perfectly (29″) every time. Nice smooth action and little effort required to pump in “inflate” mode. Top marks Topeak!
I had originally bought the Crank Brothers Klic digital pump w/burst tank because of the construction and design. I had to return it because it was seeping air while pumping; the replacement pump arrived and the same problem. Even worse, it would level off at around 100-110 psi and couldn’t even reach the recommended 160 psi to inflate tubeless tires. This was definitely a waste of time and money having to return this pump twice.
The Topeak booster pump arrived today and I immediately put it to the test. I deflated my 700c x 32c tubeless tires and made sure to break the bead off the rims. I set up the pump as per Topeak’s instructions for inflating/seating tubeless tires and it worked perfectly. No problem seating the 32c tubeless road tires and decided to try it on another set of wheels with 38c tubeless tires. Worked as advertise and no hesitation recommending this booster pump.
A really solid feeling but of kit and a marked upgrade from my rather ancient model. A little pricey for a pump maybe, but the quality is evident and the chamber makes inflation of tubeless MTB tyres a doddle.
I needed something to pump some ust tubeless tyres for my bike and this looked like it would fit the bill. You can pump directly or store the air and let it all out in one go. This is pretty much a requirement with tubeless so that the tyre can snap onto the rim properly. The handle is nice and comfortable and the stand allows easy foot placement. Tube clips back nicely so it can be stored neatly away and can stand upright on its own. Bit pricey I think but worth it.
Good, solid pump that helps with tubeless fitting. I still struggle with fitting road tyres but for mtb and gravel there’s no issue. Pressure gauge seems accurate and foot plates are good and stable. It is expensive but my other Topeak pumps have stood up to time and abuse well – this one looks to be the same.
Couldn’t recommend more highly, very easy to attach to both presta and schrader valves. I’ve used the compression function on two different tubeless setups and both times it worked perfectly
Well made, very substantial. Bought it to allow me to fit tubeless tyres. I did manage, but took a few attempts. Wasn’t as easy as the video implies – size of tyre makes a big difference. One chamber of air proved insufficient for MTB tyre. Got there in the end. No way I would have managed without the chamber though.
This is one sturdy bike tier pump. It works great. I don’t use tubeless tiers, which it was designed for. But, it is a great pump for anything needing air pressure. It isn’t cheap, but it works great. For those that have tubeless bike tiers, it is must have.
Okay, it is a small workout to get the booster up to 160psi, AND it takes two shots to set a 40mm+ tire. But it does the job and seems very sturdy so far. I prefer it to a dedicated booster canister as you can set a smaller gravel tire with one blow and some furious follow-up pumping. Road tires are once and done.
Simply the best pump I have ever owned the air canister make it so easy to seat tubeless tyres it’s unbelievable just pump it upto 100psi and open the valve tyres just go straight on with no messing
My husband was impressed with this pump, he bought it after struggling to get the tire to pop on rim with another pump when going tubless. This holds the air in a chamber to give quick burst of air popping his tire on rim.
Expensive but my husband thinks worth it.
