This is the 2nd Toshiba tv I have purchased and once again the build quality is superb. Extremely easy to follow quick guide set up, a very aesthetically pleasing smart tv.
Great picture, connects well with my Nintendo Switch, Netflix works fine. I’m a happy 29 year old kid now. Gonna watch Harry Potter tonigh
I struggled to work out how to get subtitles on at first but when I worked that out I was very pleased. I loved the fact that there was a QR code to sign into Hayu and Amazon Prime which meant I didn’t need to remember passwords. Great picture quality and sound, it fits perfectly into a small bedroom and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend i
I purchased this along with an Amazon firestick ( no aerial needed) the only thing that needed to be changed was input to an HDMI port, other than that great picture, sound quality could be slightly better but still listenable.
Not the easiest to navigate and you have to directly the remote directly at the screen. For a brand name, I’m a little disappointed
Highly recommended and worth the price.
In bedroom for elderly mother, perfect size and ease of use as she has the daddy 65″ Toshiba in her living room .
Can anyone confirm that wireless earbuds connect to this tv?
All seems to work OK and is a good TV for the bedroom. Not sure about the Alexa function as this reacts even when the TV is turned off so I had to disconnect the feature. Otherwise I am pleased with my purchase at the price.
The TV is good for its price. The picture is very good, sound not always but then I’m of a certain age ! The white frame is less intrusive in my setting than boring old black.
Ordered this for my Mother after having to return a Blaupunkt set due to poor build quality.
This wee TV is night and day, easily put together, set-up simple and looks good.
Was a bit concerned with a review saying it was difficult to switch subtitles on, it really isn’t, one button on the remote ‘language’ and select from there, simple.
Very happy with purchase.
Got this tv for my sons bedroom, great tv for a great price.
Bought to fit in a limited space in our kitchen and really pleased when it fit perfectly. Brilliant picture, good sound and lots of up to date features. A truly good buy.
Easy to set up excellent picture quality, i am very happy with my purchase.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I’m unable to see the point of Freeview Play – I find it easier to just go to the relevant catch-up app straight from the homescreen.
A nice rv for the money but the sound is not the best, have to turn vol right up, but apart from that a good buy.
Good picture and sound. I think it’s great quality for the price.
Very disappointing saying the only way to view Disney+ on this TV is to spend another 30 on a Firestick.
Oh also, the tv remote is the same frequency as her LED lights (also bought form Amazon), so the lights flash and change colour when she changes channels.
Set up quite easy, Had to phone the helpline for a setup query,, answered quickly, they guided me through and problem sorted. Nice TV for price
The TV itself is great though, nice clear picture and sound quality is decent enough for the bedroom. Very happy with it.
If you’re desired streaming service isn’t advertised, it’s could be under “apps store”. Disney+ is sadly not available. There are loads of other ones though, such as Plex, which is a great app and works really well on the TV.
As others have said, sound could be better. However not exactly shocking coming from such a small, relatively cheap TV.
USB Playback – for a while the TV couldn’t see my USB stick, turns out it had a weird file system. Make sure whatever you’re plugging in is formatted to FAT32 or NTFS. Now I can play old TV shows I’ve downloaded that aren’t on common streaming services.
It’s made of plastic with a plastic stand.
It’s only HD Ready (720p) – so it’s not even full HD.
Although it’s a smart TV it’s not built on android so many apps you’d expect, including Disney plus are not available.
Surprisingly it includes Alexa – which is useful if you use Alexa to control smart home devices (although it won’t work with everything)it does have amazon music too.
Personally I’ve connected a fire stick – so I have full Alexa control, plus all the apps.
Setup was easy.
The controller is big (great for the elderly or people prone to losing remotes). Has big bottoms too.
The tv has plenty of ports including 2 hdmi, tv aerial, vga (for older pcs), av ports (the red, white, and yellow), plus a headphone jack.
I bought this tv for my caravan. We wanted a small tv in the bedroom.
Sound is fine, it’s bright enough, and image quality is fine.
For 160 it’s a great tv.
Of course if you have a bigger budget you can get better TVs. But as i stated at the start – this is a budget TV so for caravans, kids room, office, small room etc.
