Took a while to get to me and when i got it the super amp did not work. Had to go through turtle beach warranty and get a new one but all working now. Great sound and great feel.

Great sound but as we know all games very especially for hearing people or being immersed in a game, you have to go onto the app with rarely connects to the headset, just keep it simple and have to hand controls

I use these for Xbox and PC.

Same Audio quality as the Elite Pro but with a better headband,
Not used the Amp as I don’t need it.

Amazing headset from Turtle beach, will make a mockery of most headsets on the market today even though this is entry level the superior volume in enhancement function and app control make it essential for any gamer wanting to hear footsteps from 30 feet away, used in Dayz and Cod i can hear people coming before they know they’re coming.

Ya llevo un par de semanas con ellos, antes haba pedidos los hypex x, pero no me gustaron tanto, ped estos por qu los vi a buen precio y preguntado a mis amigos me los recomendaron.
Al principio pens que el super amp no funcionaba pero tena que conectarlo a mi laptop, actualizarlo y listo.
Use una semana los audfonos sin el super amp conectados directo al mando por el Jack 3.5 y su sonido era bastante bueno, claro y fuerte sin distorsion.
Despus lo us con el super amp y con el sistema Dolby Atmos de xbox con el que tambin son compatibles y el sonido fue an mejor, en juegos como raimbown six y warzone en donde necesitas escuchar muy bien los pasos del oponente fue donde note ampliamente el cambio y ms con la ayuda del super amp que te da la opcin de amplificar esos sonidos y con el ecualizador del Dolby es una maravilla.
Los audfonos son de buena calidad, me gusta sus almohadillas que an usando lentes son cmodas y no provocan tanto calor en las orejas y aslan muy bien el ruido externo.
Los cables son lo bastante largos para moverse con libertad.
La presin en la cabeza es muy buena sin llegar a ser tan fuerte pero tan poco tan blanda que que se estn callendo por cualquier movimiento.
Algo malo no se si sea por culpa de mi telfono es que a veces el Bluetooth no reconoce la app y tengo que prender y apagar el Bluetooth y buscar el super amp para que se conecte, pero solo me a pasado 2 veces.
Son algo pesados a comparacin de los hyper x.
Me hubiera gustado que el muteo del micro fuera un botn en el super amp o en los audfonos y no el cable.
En trminos generales son unos audfonos que por el precio que pagu se me hacen muy buenos por calidad de material, calidad de sonido, por compatibilidad con Windows Sonic y Dolby Atmos.
Y por la ayuda del super amp y de la app que te hace ms fcil ajustar el party chat y puedes usarlo como manos libres y escuchar msica a travs del telfono.

So so many bashing this headset but I ask how many updated them before booking them? Out of the box the amp is trash BUT that’s because it needs updating via pc you can’t do this with the Android app.

The headphones alone are great and I tried them with my filo amp and they nearly made me deaf so I knew the amp supplied was the issue. Looked into it as most on here didn’t and the pc update brings the amp to life and the sound from it is great (not as good as my filo amp though).

I suggest anyone who buys these to plug them into a pc FIRST and download the turtle sound app and UPDATE the amp and you will hear a world of difference.

Ok, this is my 1st ever set of gaming headphones and I did my research. I was going to get the Astro’s A50 but read far too many bad reviews on the gen4 about disconnection so I opted for these (yes people moaned about them being too quiet) But my experience was good enough to start with and I will admit that although the highest volume possible was fine for me I could see that they could go up a few notches. So before slagging these off I decided to update the firmware on them as prompted by the mobile app when connected to the headset, once this was done then the volume was increased by an extra 25% IMO, so maybe that’s all people needed to do before saying they were not loud enough? Anyway I am happy with them.

I really have two reviews to write, one on the headset and one on the company that I bought it from. I would like to start on the company that I bought it from.

I am impressed with Goldstar Tech Store… this is the first time that I have bought a used item from a vendor on Amazon and I am truly impressed. The container it came in was in very good shape, better shape than I expected. The listing said the box would be damaged and it was hardly damaged at all. The headset and amp came with all cables packaged correctly. I will buy from Goldstar Tech Store in the future.

I have bought several Turtle Beach Headsets and in each case they have broke… typically on the left ear piece the plastic just stress fractured. In the case of the Elite Pro 2 it fits well and is very comfortable. The ear cushions come off for easy cleaning and are held in place with magnets. In my opinion the sound quality is excellent whether it’s Joe Bonamassa or SWTOR. The only thing I have not been able to get working is the Game/Chat mix on the Amp but that is a minor issue that does not detract from my overall satisfaction.

I recommend the Elite Pro 2 and Amp and I recommend purchasing from GoldStar Tech Store.

I’ve used these headphones for three days, so these still have to hold up to the test of time. That being said, so far I like:

1.) The USB -> Amp -> Headphone Setup. While I appreciate the total wireless freedom of the A50’s, not dealing with auto shut offs, batteries, and sound disruptions was my main reason for purchase. Happy with the results, will see how wired holds up the first time I jerk the amp off the coffee table.

2.) Windows Sonic. I have not paid for Dolby Atmos, and at this point I do not feel the urge to. I thought the sound was better and more immersive than the sound I was getting from the Dolby 7.1 setting I used on the A50’s.

3.) Xbox Hardware Recognition. Small thing, but it is so nice not to have to walk back up and uplug the USB to reset the base station so that I’m recognized in party chat. When Xbox is on, I’m good to go.

4.) Game Chat. Welcome back! I’m almost always using Xbox Party Chat but when I’m playing Destiny it’s nice to have the option to opt into Fireteam Chat.

5.) Bluetooth. Paired up easily with my phone.

Some things I felt could use improvement:

-1.) Turtle Beach Audio Hub App.: Using my Android Phone, sometimes the buttons felt unresponsive. I just got these things and wanted to play with settings a bunch. It works, but I felt the experience could have been better.

-2.) Glass Relief System: Not a real negative, I just don’t see the upside. Sound isolation does not seem to be greatly effected wherever my cushion tab is set, but the same can be said for pressure relief on the frame of my glasses. My glasses fit fairly snug to my face, and my headset/glass fit puts the relief design just a little high. I use it and have the tabs pegged on the last setting, but not a big deal for me and has never been a previous issue. If it is an issue for you on your current set up… your results might vary.

-3.) Comfort. I find these comfortable! However, for the extended play time I put in yesterday… I did not find them as comfortable as my Astro A50 Gen 3 with the fabric cushions.

-4.) Mute Control. Comming from a wireless set up where I just flipped my mic boon up, fiddling to find the dongle is a minor hassle. I’d like to see something integrated into the amp. (Which besides bluetooth, feels just like a big volume knob/cable break with glowy bits)

Conclusion Notes: This is my first experience with Turtle Beach, and I am satified with the purchase. For me the sound isolation balance is what I was looking for. I felt more immersed in my game. I did not have a issue with the overall volume level which is a topic I’ve seen brought up before. Durability, more experience using chat, and playing more with the settings is where my comments may fall short for my personal experience.
