Meine Frau hat zwischenzeitlich die Xte Twelve South BookBook in Benutzung. ber Jahre und an den verschiedensten iPad Modellen schwrt sie auf diese Hlle. Mir war die BookBook immer zu klobig, ein iPad glnz schlielich durch seine kompakte und edel Form.
Fr mein iPad 11 Pro habe ich mich nun auch fr die Hlle entschieden. Ich muss gestehen das ich immer noch hin und her gerissen bin. Es gibt auf dem Markt wohl keine andere Hlle, die Optik und Schutz so gut vereint. Auch die Haptik, es fhlt sich nun mal wie ein in Leder gebundenes Buch an, ist klasse. Andererseits trgt es schon sehr dick auf, das muss einem bewusst sein. Auch deaktiviert die Hlle leider nicht das Display des Tablets.
Fr mich erfllt die Hlle trotzdem ihren Zweck. Ich benutze sie zwar nicht 24/7, aber immer wenn ich mein iPad geschtzt haben mchte, kommt sie zum Einsatz. Die Kombination aus iPad und Hlle sieht dabei sehr edel aus.
Die Verarbeitung ist ber die Jahre nicht schlechter geworden. Der Preis ist nicht gerade klein, doch die Hlle berlebt locker die Lebenszeit eines iPad Model.
Etui solidnie wykonane, trwae i bardzo estetyczne. Doskonale spasowao si z czytnikiem. wietnie chroni urzdzenie przed uszkodzeniami np. w przypadku upadku. Polecam.
I lovethe look and feel of this real leather kindle cover.I love that it zips close to keep my kindle clean and dust free.
My only regret is that I gave my 10th generation kindle to my daughter when I reveived the 11th generation as a gift.
I regret this because bookbook does not make a real leather 11th generation cover yet (please make one!).

Bel materiale, bello l’effetto che fa. E’ sicuramente un oggetto con un certo stile. Unica pecca che non si pu chiudere la zip mentre la penna agganciata magneticamente all’iPad per ricaricarsi.
i love it but the reason why im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it came in looking like some had used it for awhile and then sent it back. its not just the scratches (which there’s a LOT of but hard to see in the pictures) but some of the gold paint on the sides is almost completely worn off. i thought when buying a new one it would come in looking new and freshly made, but there’s a difference between making something look old vs a product showing its wear from it’s previous owner. im not picky though, it does it job being a cover and im satisfied with that. for those who think you’re getting something made freshly made out from a warehouse and straight into your hands, that may not be a possibility.
It looks exactly like the picture, my ipad fits snugly and the case feels firm enough that i would be comfortable packing my ipad in a suitcase when i fly. I really love it!
Se ajusta perfectamente al ipad con su funda, es de muy buena calidad y muy bonito, pero un poco caro, ya tengo otros productos de esta marca y algn chollo siempre encuentras.

I had about seven of these over the years. They now have the back of the iPad sit on a plastic backing (just clips in) the screen is now fully exposed and easier to see without the issues of the previous models which sat in a stitched frame.
You can’t attach the magic keyboard in this case you’ll need the cover instead
Very sturdy, the Apple pencil fits inside it. Protected well enclosed and does not look like an electronic item is in the case.
I had the equivalent cover for my iPad and was so impressed with it, i bought the iPad 12.9 cover, which is great. Looks good, has already proven its worth on the protection front (dropping my iPad from about 3 ft – ouch!) and will age well, if the iPhone over is anything to go by. A bargain for what it is
I upgraded my kindle Paperwhite to the newest version just so I could have this case. It’s beautiful, well made, has an auto wake/sleep feature for the screen, and it looks like I’m carrying around an actual book, which I love. Anywhere I go I’m usually traveling with kids, so the zipper closure is wonderful to keep it safe and crumb free. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
Also, I bought it before upgrading to the newest version of the kindle Paperwhite thinking that it might fit the old version as the FAQs were a little misleading as to whether it might, and it DOES NOT FIT THE OLD VERSION.
I love everything about my 12 South BookBook Kindle Paper White cover. Every time I pick up my Kindle I run my hands over the leather and admire the craftsmanship that went into making it. I would not hesitate to buy again. It smells really good too.
This was a tight fit for my 2015 15″ MacBook Pro but it is nice because it doesn’t move around and doesn’t need internal straps. I cut a little piece of moleskin to cover the backs of the zippers so it won’t cause any scratching. I would recommend doing the same if you don’t already have protection along the edges of your laptop.

What attracted me was how the cover looks like an antique book. When I received it, I was not disappointed. It really does look like a book. The zip closure is sturdy and opening and closing the cover does wake and sleeps the Kindle device. I definitely recommend this product.
The cover is AWESOME!! It is real leather (and smells amazing) and is really high quality and beautifully aesthetic. I have tons of people asking what cool, old book I’m reading and they are amazed to find out that it’s actually a Kindle cover. Almost more than any of this is that the “book” is subtly titled: Book Book XII (my personal sense of humor can’t stop cracking up at that).
And! As a bonus I also happen to love my Kindle as well!
Quality product. Sturdy. Kindle fits perfectly in the sleeve and you can still reach the charging ports. Works exactly as described. Turns on when you open and turns off when you close. Makes it easier to hold the Kindle and the book stand works great. I would buy a second one for my husband if they made a different color.
The spine is very stiff and too difficult for me to fold back but I expected as much after reading reviews.
Despite that, the case is absolutely perfect. It’s great looking and great protection. The added size and weight to my Kindle was welcome, as I drop things quite frequently.
I feel like it’s worth the price.
Just splurged and bought myself a Kindle reader 10th generation very small. What I wanted was a cute and protective cover for it this cover is a little pricey but it is adorable it is well-made it looks like a beautiful old book that you hold in your hand definitely definitely recommend
1) Extend the plastic frame in order to have a receptacle for the Apple Pencil and still be able to charge it.
2) Add a feature to turn off the screen when the case is closed(Other cases do it)
3) Move the plate with magnets to the edge and extend the plate so it can be placed inside the pocket, in that way the iPad will have a stable open position.
Other than that the quality of the materials is excellent.
When I looked it over, it looked like a really fancy antique book. The spin is sturdy. I unzipped it and looked inside. It was simple and effective. The stand is magnetic and holds really well. It has the same essence of a book but with better storage capabilities.
When I put my kindle in the case and zipped it back, a thought occurred to me. Would the zipper stand up to repeated use overtime. When I looked closer to inspect it, I noticed 3 little letters on the zipper part. “YKK” It has some of the best zippers one can find from a quality company.
Overall it’s worth the premium price. I don’t see myself using any other case for the lifetime of my kindle.
Perhaps more expensive than other cases but in my opinion this is the best case for an iPad. No question.
Original review: I was a little bit worried when I ordered this, because it is on the expensive side for a Kindle Paperwhite case, and because it is so very different from the case I bought for my old Kindle. However, since I wanted a case with a zipper, this really was my only option.
But I needn’t have worried: I am extremely happy with this puchase. My new (as of March 2021) Kindle Paperwhite fits perfectly into this case. And the included stand makes it easy to set it on the table in front of me when my hands are full or busy.
Furthermore, the feel of this case in my hands really does feel like a genuine, well-loved hardcover book. The cover feels amazing, with a soft texture (similar to suede) but sturdy boards. The spine uses a different, harder leather, as you’d expect from a real book. There’s just a little bit of filigree decoration embossed into each outside corner, and the stitching is uniform and well-placed. It can be zipped up from either side.
On top of that, it actually smells like a real book! That’s one of the biggest things I miss when using an eReader, so it’s nice to have it again.
Overall, it’s clear that the designers put a lot of thought into what makes a case pleasant but inconspicuous for the reader, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a case for their Kindle. Worth. Every. Penny.
I dropped my first Kindle and even though I had a cover on it, it was not sufficient enough to protect it so it cracked and didnt work after that. So when I got a new Kindle , this cover seemed like the best thing to protect it.
Seems like nice materials. It’s a little hard to get the zipper to start zipping. When I open it up and bend the left side back it’s very stiff and feels like it would rip. After bending it with each use I feel like it would crease it. Besides that I like it. It seems thick. When you open it it takes your kindle out of rest mode which I like. Looks like a real book. I guess my only complaint is that it doesn’t bend easily like it says it does and I feel like with how stiff it is that bending it would ruin the left side.

Ja, die Dinger sind sehr Teuer, das ist richtig.
Man bekommt ein schnes Design, durchdacht, aus echtem Leder, gut verarbeitet und mit ein bisschen Pflege (genau wie der Lieblingsschuh, bentigt eine Lederhlle auch ab und zu mal Lederfett!!!) , selbst bei Tglichem Gebrauch, lange haltbar!
Da ich mit den Dingern kein Fuball spiele”, sind meine Hllen, sogar nach (zum Teil) Jahren und wirklich Tglich in Benutzung, noch ansehnlich und HEILE!
Ich bin von den Teilen berzeugt und wrde mir, fr zuknftige Mobilgerte, auch wieder solche Schutzhllen zulegen!

I was on the fence about spending this much on a Kindle case but after seeing all the positive reviews I ordered it and I’m so glad I did!!! The craftsmanship and quality are absolutely fabulous and it is well worth the investment!!! My Paperwhite fits perfectly and is better protected than I ever thought possible. It’s so much easier to hold as well. It’s like holding a traditional book. I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!!!
I have held off on getting a Kindle because I love the feel of a book in my hands. I finally broke down and got one after I saw this holder. It zips shut, is leather and feels just like a book in my hands. It also has a stand in it so you can sit it up on a table hands free. The quality is amazing. For 10.00 more than the Amazon leather, I’m really happy with this one. It even looks like a book!
Protects the iPad Pro and looks good. I can still fit the Apple Pencil in so its all good.
I deliberated getting the Kindle BookBook as soon as I saw it announced but just couldn’t justify it since much cheaper cases seemed adequate. I also wasn’t keen on the idea of the zipper closure. Finally, I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did.
The case adds a little bulk, but not too much. I remember actual books, long ago… this is no bigger than a thin paperback. The quality is great, and I expect similar durability as my 8 years and counting iPhone case.
The stand for hands free reading is more useful than I expected. I always preferred the molded plastic holder of slim cases, but I’m growing to like the leather sleeve in the BookBook. The zipper, which I previously thought would be a nuisance, now feels like a classy addition. It’s solid, and makes the case feel that much more protective when it’s closed.
The case lies flat when opened, like a traditional book. The spine has some stiffness, so when it’s new it does not fully fold back on itself. I worried this would be a nuisance when reading in bed but so far it’s no problem. It’s worth noting that the magnet sleep/wake feature does not require the case to be zipped closed, in the photo with the case closed but not zipped the magnets are close enough to the Kindle to activate the sleep feature.
Overall, far more than I would have previously thought worth paying for a Kindle case, but the quality and overall cool factor makes it worth it.
Before the pandemic, I got myself the iPad Pro 12.9 and love it. This was going to be my everything book and wanted to have protection since I work for a college and lots of meetings. I got this for my iPad and love it. It is sturdy protective, clean, attractive, and makes people think it is a book. Using the iPad in it takes a little but of adjustment but not much. I cannot ask for better!
Permite guardar el iPad con el Apple Pencil y teclado, en mi caso el logi, pero tambin se adapta a las opciones de teclados de Apple.
Quiz agregara alguna opcin para sujetar el iPad cuando lo guardas y transportas solo, es decir, sin teclado, ya que de esa manera se evita que se vaya moviendo.
Nicely made & protects the Kindle Paperwhite 10th generation from all angles. The Kindle can be securely closed in the Bookbook with the zipper enclosure. It also has different ways you can view your Kindle in the Bookbook hands free with the backdrop. Highly recommend.
