This CCTV camara is really a very good product. The instruction in the box is very clear to teach buyer how to install and how to use it, the software is very easy to lean and connect to the phone. We could check our house at anytime we want on the phone easily. Also we could use the software to control the camara to turn to different angel as video shows. The imagine which shows on phone are very clear in high resolution. The solor panel could support the battery very well after first charging. Really a very convenient product which help the family keeping house safe. Highly recommended!
The camera is easy to set up and install (it has 2 stickers to support for drilling which is excellent ), wifi signal is strong and battery life is full every day at the moment, i also like the intelligent vision and the full colour night vision, it fit my purpose!
Solar security camera does the job of security. Its easy to set up, Camera routes at different angels, send regular pictures alerts, picture quality is ok ,but not great . Intercom volume to speak to visitors is loud enough which is good. Video quality is acceptable and can be recorded with storage card which comes with packaging. Flashing lights, intercom, rotation all can be easily controlled through the app. Overall good value for money at this price .
Really easy to install and set the solar panel. I’ve been running it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say it’s been great. The camera connects to the app really smoothly and allows you to add multiple devices, video quality is high and the motion sensor sensitivity easily adjusts to capture video for a length of time you choose up to 30 seconds at a time. Solar panel has kept the camera fully charged even in the gloomiest of weather conditions. Highly recommend.
Install the camera once we received it. Weather was rainy and windy. It totally doesn’t affect the quality of the video. Clear and high definition, with sound as well.
Set up the motion sensor was the best part, only recorded if necessary.
Battery is totally good with the solar panel.
It allow member of the family to join the same account, so everyone can monitor it too.
With this price and quality , will definitely getting a second one for the back garden .
This product can be charged and used with solar energy.The installation is very convenient, only the base needs to be fixed, and the camera can be easily disassembled and assembled.Mobile phone controls the direction of rotation, there is portrait detection, and there will be an early warning.It suits my family very well.
I love this, I’ve wanted one of these for ages to keep an eye on my animals when I’m not at the field. I was surprised to see this camera at this price, the ones I have looked at before were around 300 pounds, so this camera is a bargain! It is well worth the money!
I opted for my own giffgaff sim as it was cheaper, setting this up was easy, I just activated the sim via my computer, chose the plan I wanted, then when I tried to set it up with the camera it didn’t recognise the APK details, so I had to do a quick search in the help options for giffgaff and found them, them it worked.
SD is ok, the HD is great, It doesn’t use as much data as I thought, I think it only uses the data when it captures something or you look at it.
I don’t have the strongest signal at the field, around 2 bars of 4G, so moving the camera from side to side is a bit glitchy for me. But I love how I can hear the animals and talk to them via the camera, I think it won’t be long until they are really fed up with me calling them over 🙂
I think I may get another of these, maybe 2, depending on how the data works out over time. These really are a bargain for how good they are, I am really happy with it.
There is also a function to be able to record what you are seeing straight to your phone which is a great feature, you can download the videos from the cloud too.
Night vision is great! If you use the flood lights for colour at night it can drain the battery quicker, but the IR works a treat.
The battery seems great so far, it recharges quickly too, even on a dull day.
I would have liked a much smaller cable from the camera to the solar panel, it’s a couple of meters long and in my case, it doesn’t need to be that long.
It came with tweezers which is really handy, since getting the sim cards in and out is a bit fiddly!
It zooms really well, it can go right in on the zoom, a great feature! The zoom works much better in HD than SD though, although that could be because I don’t get a great signal at the field, there is a lot of difference between SD and HD. The app can be set to HD so it stays on.
Update – I’ve had this camera a week or so now, I had to get in contact with their help guy and he has been wonderful. He seems to be around in the mornings, UK time, he has managed to answer any number of my dim questions. I couldn’t get my cloud storage working at first, but with help from Jason in the help department, it’s all running smoothly now.
All in all, a great bargain, I’m really happy with it. I’m likely to get a couple more of these cameras so I can see my animals from all angles!
Picture quality is awesome. The camera performs as described except that the night motion is not as sensitive as day. Apart from that it performs well and the battery is OK as is the solar charger. The final objective is to have it installed on a very high post to detect any activity going into my property without the need to have a power at the final location. So far all works as described and I am pleased with my purchase. Did not give 5 stars due to lack of standard video interfacing like RTSP an IP camera to be able to connect to my existing CCTV system and use it in my centralized service. The only way to access it is thru the app.
Received product with next day of order, set up straight away and item was very simple to set up on my WiFi, app and mount on the house the Picture quality was good and clear high Recommended .
This camera is clever, and it doesn’t need any power to fit. It’s perfect for people who want to do a DIY camera at home, and there is no need to get any electrition to prepare the wire.
I highly recommend this camera. It has good resolution and clear vision at night. It’s also easy to use on mobile and can be widely adjusted to cover a large area. The solar panel looks very efficient as well. Having one is beneficial to know what’s happening in my driveway.

This wireless camera is easy to setup and install. The image quality is good. The UCOCARE Solar Security Camera is a great device for securing your home or properties. The device is wire free and comes with a large 15000mAh battery which is constantly topped up from it’s 5W solar panel.
The device is very simple and easy to setup thanks to the smart phone app and with the app the live footage, saved footage and most of the settings can be accessed remotely from the convenience of your phone. Exporting footage is simple and easy too.
The device is IP67 rated so should last all the local weather throws at it, but you can also set up specific alerts such as when a person is detected. The video quality is great, but even the night vision is impressive too, plus as a final boost it also comes with a 32GB SD card, whilst a bigger one would be better, most cameras don’t include this as an extra and it’s a great think to have spares of anyway.

The ucocare security camera is really amazing as it is the one we’ve been looking for. It’s easy to install and the app makes it more convenient to have. It comes with a memory card wherein I can store all the videos or images I want. It has a 360 coverage which helps us to have a wider vision for the area. The solar panel comes in handy too since it’s built in. I’m never gonna worry to charge it most of the time. The video quality is clear even when the lighting is good. I’m 100% satisfied.

Ucocare 2K Solar PTZ Camera Review
I spent the Black Friday week and subsequent weeks leading up to Christmas identifying the best quality budget camera being offered on the internet.
This UCOCARE camera seemed to tick all the boxes!
I have a property abroad and wanted to make sure my chosen camera would meet all my requirements.
I was looking for long battery life with strong solar power charging coupled with the ability to operate online when Wi-Fi available and also record to storage locally when direct power was unavailable.
It had to have quality video together with versatile scanning and wide angle viewing.
It also needed to operate equally well day or night without relying on direct power or internet connection.
Finally, of course, it had to be affordable.
Of all the cameras I researched the UCOCARE offered my best fit.
So I ordered one on Amazon on Sunday 18th December and it arrived the next day. I charged the battery for 4 hours and then easily set it up as per the user manual.
I’m currently testing all the features by placing the camera behind windows around my home here in the UK. It seems to work perfectly well wherever I place it. I attach some pics showing quality achieved.
When the weather warms up, matching our place abroad, I will test it in the garden, looking hack at the house. It really does offer ease and versatility in use, so I intend to maximise on the benefit of this.
In summary I’m extremely happy with the quality and capabilities of this camera and am now considering keeping this one for home and getting another for abroad.
First off, i should say that this should be partnered with a wi-fi hotspot so you can connect to it remotely without having to have either a power source or hard wired Internet connexion.
Image quality is great I have it situated reasonably high off the ground but it can still see faces clearly at the other end of the field both during the day and at night, the solar panel that is connected has a reasonably long cable which means that I can actually position the solar panel in a place which gets a lot of sun and still have the camera in a place where there’s no glare from the sun giving a much better quality image and allowing the camera to get plenty of charge to the point that I’ve actually taken the cable the plugged into the camera from the solar panel and split it two ways to be able to charge both the hotspot and the camera itself and it produces plenty of power even when it’s reasonably dark.
Fitting it doesn’t take longer as you’re not connecting it to anything you’re simply putting the bracket up on to wherever you’d like to mount it in our case it’s actually on a tree where it’s able to stay reasonably discreetly without being too obvious.
The app for connecting to it is basic but that’s all you really need, with the fact that I have an SD card in it too I can record any movement that happens and then it just re right over the top of that SD card when it gets to a certain point so I always have a record of anybody else that has been on the property.
Looked out fir security camera this has it all pan and tilt siren flash light and you don’t have to buy subscription save to as card that’s supplied really good so far just had to update software first thing then good to go
I’ve been wanting either a security camera or a vision doorbell, as seeing all the burglary etc, plus I noticed a few neighbours also have the security camera so I joined the group!
Instead of putting it outdoor fixing to the wall, I just leave it sitting at the window sill to look over the street. The picture quality is very good, as we have bin outside so i just kind of hide it behind and pointed it to the gate so can see how are the visitors.
Few things i like about is i can pan it around easily on my phone, well, take me a while to get used to the directions; the sound is very clear (but I haven’t tried the two way “communication” just yet); the light function; the “weatherproof” function, my window has very bad condensation so that bit of place is rather wet but camera survives the dampness.
So far i only go through these as that are i want to know first, next will play around with recording, will update with more stuff when i get to know more.
Picture quality is awesome, surprised I can see so much at night. Controls are easy to use in app, not needed the intercom but did check it, more than loud and clear enough.

Plug into a USB charger, connect the app to your internet with password, turn on power on the camera, remove protective cover from lense, press NEW on your phone, point camera at the QR code on your phone, beeps to say connected, job done! Sounds long winded, but takes just seconds. Still have to play around with settings once mounted, but first impressions are SUPERB! Very flexible, night time you can have light or light and siren when actuated, siren volume is fully adjustable, the LED light is very bright! Comes with a decent size solar panel and a 32gb SD card, so nothing else to buy. Need some small cable clips as none supplied, for the long panel cable. Phone beeps to announce a trigger. Up to now dead impressed, especially for the price, plus one day delivery, what’s not to like! Would recommend. So happy with it, I bought another one, excellent price, 30 discount at checkout! To link subsequent camera’s, charge it up, press add unit on the app, turn camera on and point it at the QR code, job done, it’s so easy.
The CORDLESS SOLAR outdoor security CCTV camerr from UCOCARE is a very good product, as it has got very clear image quality – day & night. as I took the image in a dull day with raining outside, it still showed a very clear and bright footage.There are options of motion detection, videio recording, two way audios and programme to your phone notifications. It is not expensive and good for its value, as it is a SOLAR ENERGY operating system and rechargeable system. Fully recommended
Setting it up was a doddle. It uses the excellent CloudEdge app which allows it to get integrated into your WiFi network very easily. The included mounting accessories are well constructed so was able to get the camera and solar panel easily mounted on the side of our house (where the solar panel can collect the most sunlight) and where the camera will overlook our garden.
The picture quality is fantastic and the night vision is also very clear and also has the option to switch on colour night vision mode which looks great. Coupled with the solar panel I haven’t yet needed to charge it and the battery on the camera is big so I am very pleased with it so far. Being PTZ it can also rotate 360 degrees, tilt and zoom in and all are available via the excellent app. I highly recommend this camera and may look to purchase another.
