Flat pack but easy to assemble. A good size for each of the herbs & very useful lower shelf.
bought this to plant my herb garden. Really easy to assemble, well made with the addition of the liner inserts for each section. Really pleased and would consider purchasing again.

We are so pleased with our Vegtrug – good quality, sturdy and value for money. It was easy to assemble and we have all our herbs planted for easy access. Definitely recommended and looks good on our patio.
Looks nice, relatively easy to assemble. I did it myself and am 6 months pregnant.
Has little black liners for each compartment but you can also use the planter without splitting it to compartments.
Some smaller parts of the wood had splinters coming off but that is not visible once assembled nor it weakens the structure.
I’d recommend the product.

Decent item, bit flimsy but holds ok. Main reason fkr only 4 stars is that the inserts for each aection are not the correct size, they are to big so have to be folded over and look silly
Easily assembled, doesn’t take up too much space, good height to use for potting up seeds. The handy shelf underneath is useful for storing small gardening tools or additional seed trays. The sections are great and we use them for planting different salads as well as herbs. The inner pockets are good, easily filled and all in all this has been a useful addition to our efforts at growing foodstuffs.
Very well packaged, extremely easy to assemble with just one type of screw. The wood quality is lovely and it smells amazing! So good, in fact, I would buy from this company again. The quality shines through.
My husband hates gardening but loved putting this together.
I bought this for my partner for fathers day and he loves it. Very easy to assemble and extremely sturdy once made. He loves it, best buy i’ve made in a while. Each compartment is a nice size and it looks lovely too. Very happy.
Love the idea of it being raised up, so no more bending down for my herbs. Have placed it close to my back door,easy picking when needed. Quality of wood not great so I painted in wood garden paint, to last a bit longer. But it is value for money in my opinion.
I was a bit concerned having read some reviews about how this wasn’t very sturdy or screws didn’t fit but so pleased I ordered it anyway. It was easily put together and looks great, perfectly sturdy and ready to fill with herbs.
This was ordered for my wife after we visited numerous garden centres and checked many websites. As a first impression we are happy with this purchase decision.
Assembly was very straightforward and the little instruction booklet was not really needed. A small point was that all the required screw clearance holes were predrilled but no matching marking on the component to be assembled. To be sure the unit was built square I double checked using a square before tightening screws. I used a power drill screwdriver but there were not so many screws that the old fashioned “manual”way would be a problem as all the dividers just slotted into place.. Although the finished item is quite lightweight it seems pretty sturdy and suited for its purpose.
Ideal way to grow up to 8 herbs, each in their own pocket.
Never had any luck growing herbs but the trug has yielded me a bumper harvest, ideal for any chef!!!!!!
Bought this for my wife who wanted to have some herbs in the garden. This idea save bending and allows her to take cuttings for cooking quikly and easily. The unit comes flat pack but was very easy to put toegther and has a nice stained colour.
We bought this for our son for his birthday and he’s thrilled to bits with it. It is a good size, sturdy and well made. It is now full of herbs which are doing very well.
We purchased this to plant our various herbs. Each slot is a decent size with enough depth for what we wanted to plant. The unit itself is not as sturdy as I expected and parts of the unit were not cut well or the holes for screws were not aligned very well so I had to improvise a little. It’s a little bit rickety which was a surprise as I thought the brand was meant to be quite decent. It is a little uneven so I had to use sticky pads underneath one of the legs to balance it out. Other than that, it is quite a nice little unit.
So pleased with mine. Have wanted to grow herbs for years and this was the perfect product to get me started. Despite heavy rain for days after the herbs were planted they all seem to be thriving.
Although it comes flatpacked it was easy to put together and it looks absolutely fab. The cats are still happy fertilising the flower beds and we’re chuffed to bits with our herb garden.
I really love this. Perfect for small gardens or tiny patios / balconies, gives the pleasure of growing your own herbs, salads or flowers (I did all!). Peasy to assemble, looks good, sturdy and great fun. I applied some wood protector before use. Choose soil carefully (I mixed good seed compost with multi purpose potting compost 50:50). Water regularly, miss a day in summer and they wilt very quickly! Perfect for little ones to experiment and enjoy the delights of watching plants, herbs and salads grow.
One tip I wood preserved mine as it will be out in all weathers.
Overall it looks a good item
Although the individual sections each have their own liner, I have left my herbs in the pots they came in, and they appear to be flourishing. With 8 good sized sections there is plenty of room for variety and the overall appearance is really quite impressive. I have decking outside my kitchen door and this raised solution is so much better than the pots and troughs that I’ve had in previous years that resulted in stained decking and slug eaten herbs. I defy the blighters to get anywhere near them now!
Even my other half, who is somewhat precious about ‘his’ decking, thinks it is perfect.
